Hi everybody – We are just days away from the launch of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and I wanted to let you know that the PS4 game is now available for pre-load in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America for those of you who pre-ordered the game digitally through PlayStation Store. For PS3 digital pre-order customers, you’ll be able to start pre-load at 10:30am PDT, Saturday, November 1st. You’ll be the first to the fight when Day Zero begins starting 12:00am ET on November 3rd. Just in time for a full day of Double XP! Here are your options for pre-loading Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare:
- Take no action; Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will begin automatically downloading, provided that “auto-download” has been enabled on your PS4 or PS3. Over the next few days, your system will check for updates and the game will begin downloading by Sunday, in time for the release on Monday.
- If you can’t wait until then, you can enable the download manually. In PlayStation Store, navigate to the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game page and click the “download” button. If you haven’t yet preordered, you can preorder and then begin downloading.
In addition to the pre-load feature for digital pre-order customers, don’t forget that this game also supports cross-buy so you’ll get both the PS3 and PS4 version of the game. Happy gaming!
Yes, I spoke to customer support. It will pre-load on the system you primarily purchased the game for. It will be available on the 3rd for the other console whether next-gen or backward gen.

I downloaded the version Pro Edition on PS4 and so far not yet provided any download to your PS3. Anyone know anything about it?

Q: Will pre-loading work for both versions? When can I access the free version of the game?

Well figure the release date is officially 11/4/2014, so if you are playing at any time 11/3/2014 you are in fact DAY ZERO. I am just as impatient as the rest of the world to play, but we cannot control what Sony, PlayStation, or the developer sends out. Good luck my friend, I’ll probably see you in the battles!
The Blu-Ray version is already launch, and a lot of players is playing right now, we who bought the day zero edition will only have acces tonight ! That’s not fair !

I purchased the Call of Duty:Advanced Warfare bundle with the Season Pass. Upon purchase, it showed 5 files that I needed to download. I clicked on 3 of them and went to ” downloads” and saw the 3 files I clicked on downloading. the three files were Collectors edition digital game file, the Atlas Gorge DLC file and the Season pass file. I went back to try and select the other 2 files but I could never find them. I went to the notifications to see if they were there waiting to download, but they were not. One of them was the advanced Arsenal file. Where can I find these so I can pre-download them and then install them at midnight?

I preordered and downloaded it onto my ps3 last night. Now I try to download it on my ps4, but when I go to download it, the PSN store says “Add to Cart” when I already paid for it. What is going on.
Just one catch……………….. when Midnight Eastern time comes …. the timer will reset to TUESDAY THE 4TH ….. Day Zero – Zero Access should have been the true title of this blog post.
I preordered the $99.99 digital copy bundle (which I had been lead to believe included ACTUAL ACCESS at midnight at the start of November 3rd 2014…. passed 1 am eastern still no access… had to redownload and with my DL speeds I won’t play until tuesday anyway…. sure took my money quick enough. I doubt any reparations will be made to the MANY suffering right now.
hello everybody
i had per order day zero edition , it start downloading to my PS4 on 30th of October for size 7.38 GB and once it finished the count down started i had load an update file with size about 110 MB too, any way the count down ended and replaced by start label i launch it but it does not work it blinks with installing update text , and the game wont work …… is it normal ??????
a lot of people is playing the game now …. and am still cant play the digital copy DAY ZERO EDITION …. which i should playing now … if it not work by the end of this day … i think it my right to refund my money …….

is anyone else having download issues. i got the digital version and pre loaded. Then i hopped in the menu for a one hour install for multiplayer. then i hopped in the multiplayer menu and suddenly i have another 3 hour install. is this happening with all the digital.
Has anyone figured out how to get it on both PS3 and PS4 systems? My wife bought it on the PS3 and when we login on the PS4 it’s still trying to tell us to buy it. Any suggestions?
Hello. I’ve downloaded the day zero edition through the PS store and I was enjoying playing it until it froze. naturally I closed the app and tried to start it again. Then was told I would be unable to play for another 23 some odd hours. What is going on here? I went to notifications > downloads and I can see that advanced warfare had in fact been installed along with my add-ons. Then when I click on the download it takes me to the same screen saying it’s playable in 23 hours. It says day zero edition right on the app! I don’t understand. Is this on my end or PS? please help
still not working the day zero edition …….. it only froze and blink “installing Update” ….. the game not working …. no count down from my end it finished and downloaded what up …..
If my download isn’t finished until after 12, do I still get the full day of double xp and all the content that comes with pre-downloading..?

Pre Ordered Digital Pro Edition for PS3. Did the pre-download on Saturday. Now its 12:16 AM PDT on Monday and when I try to start the game, I am getting the error ” The content is not available before the start date. (8002951E).
PS4 Day Zero pro edition preloaded on 11/1/2014. But it won’t start on 11/3/2014. The countdown timer states 22 hours remain. Why won’t it start as stated in the description?
Went back into the Playstation store and click on Day Zero access for AW. It said it was activiating then began the download. Just cancelled the download and started the game and it worked.

So I wait for the game to download and install, then have to wait another 4 hours in the game for multiplayer to install. This is a joke what is going on?
Preordered the digital game on my PS4 which now had to be sent to a repair center for a bad optical drive so I wanted to download the game to my PS3 this morning, however it still wants me to pay another $59.99 to download the PS3 version. They’re both marked Day Zero so why exactly isn’t this unlocked already?

I was playing my day zero last night till about 3am and when I got up this morning it started the countdown again for 15 hours. Wtf sony stop screwing up. I want to continue the damn story and unlock more guns in online so fix it or I’m done with your lazy work ethics and going over to Nintendo
I downloaded the PS4 Digital Pro version and just contacted PSN support by live chat to see why it’s trying to charge me again for the PS3 version. The rep said you can’t download the other version until tomorrow. I told him I appreciate that the free version, but the PSN official site plainly states you can download the cross buy version on 11/3. He said I will still get all Day Zero content for the PS3 version tomorrow. Still kind of bummed though….

Make this Procedure to download the game if you bought the ps3 versión I figure out how to download it
1. Go to the PSN Store via WEB (Link) with the account you bought the game
2. Search for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
3. Add to you cart every item you see free including again the version you bought
4. Confirm the order
5. Go to Download List on the Web Store
6. Check if you see the PS4 Version
