I imagine the PS+ version of Driveclub is still coming but seriously why issue a PS Store update before it’s updated. You could’ve posted this an hour from now fully updated and everyone would be happy(assuming it is coming) instead of overreacting. It would’ve also made a lot of sense to include Driveclub PS+ edition in the PS update article at the very least but you guys didn’t so overreacting seems like a pretty reasonable response in that regard.
I get it, @141. But all the people saying they’ll sue Sony are making fools of themselves. And I have a right to laugh at how ridiculous they look over what, inevitably, is just a hiccup.

Sony isn’t a benign, harmless, generous entity only there for our pleasure and amusement. They’re a corporation selling us a product, that 50$ a year is for their product. When you pay for something and it’s not there, you have the right as a customer to complain in the same way you can complain at McDonalds if you get pickles in your burger if you asked for no pickles.
You can argue that “50$ a year is an amazing deal for what you get” blabla, but everybody does it. Microsoft and Steam also pull off this subscription “get-more-for-less” type stuff and it’s not to be nice to any of you; It’s to get a little bit more of your money each year.
Again: stop treating Sony like a benign public service, it’s a corporation.
@100 the DriveClub demo isn’t free ;last I checked I pay for PlayStation plus membership and this is a promised perk of my membership. Would you pay for a gym membership at a gym without a pool.

Where’s our game Sony!? I bought shadows of Mordor over drive club expecting the ps+ edition… Now no PS+ edition? No mention of it here… no mention of it in the store… I’m assuming you guys just aren’t doing it anymore?
Where is the Driveclub PS Plus edition you guys promised at launch. I’ve been a long time Sony Playstation fan mostly due to the fact that I don’t trust MS company antics, lies, and greed. You (sony) need to get it together because as of late you’ve been coming off very much like them. Not having a product out as promised with no announcement of a delay is unacceptable. We demand answers.

I came off as an idiot searching my PSN store for Driveclub PS+ edition with confidence I’d be able to download it. Only to find disappointment while doing full thorough searches through the PSN store on PS4 and the PS App. What about all of the people at work who were otherwise unaware of the game, whom I’ve encouraged to download the PS+ edition of driveclub and try it out as it seems interesting. They’re going to $#^+ on me when I see them.

Some people certainly are overreacting. The Plus version will eventually getput up. Sony should have someone in their PR team address it though so we know they are aware and working on it.

So where is Driveclub PS+ Edition? It was supposed to be available at the exact same time as the full game. I’m tired of this Sony, every time there is a launch for something there is always problems. If you can’t do it right then don’t even try.
@150 since I bought the PS4, I only liked the Outlast game. Beyond that, there were only weak games that I downloaded to try out and haven’t spent more than a day playing. And I have renewed my subscription since then, so for now, I’m paying 50 dollars and I’m not enjoying anything different. And multiplayer experience haven’t got any better from PS3. The feeling I get is that sony is only improving on ways to rip you off, instead of optimizing the customer experience.
Personally, I am hoping that Sony has our best interest in mind. Maybe they pulled the Driveclub PS Plus edition because of the horrible reviews it is getting. Maybe the game wasn’t up to the standards of the PS Plus lineup. Hopefully Sony’s plan is to give us something better in its place, and they are working their butts off right now trying to find that replacement and make a deal. I seriously doubt they were thinking…you know what…let’s just give our customers a big middle finger instead.

if you go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Costume_Quest and then look at Sequel it will show you the date it comes out and that is today , if there was an other date it would say so. yes i have been site stating the end of the month and iv seen other stating today for the release date for all.

For those saying there may be technical issues going on. It may be, but I do know that the PS+ version of Driveclub was shown on the PS Store last night, but it couldn’t be opened yet (although it was Oct 7, 1 AM HST for me, so 7 AM EST). Now, hours later, it seems to have been completely removed.
So my thought on the matter isn’t so much that there is something technical going on (after all, they did manage to to bring the paid versions live), but that this is simply yet another time that they lured people into getting something. And, sure, I expect that they will still give it at some point, but it may be way later, after they sold quite a few copies of the game.
i’d have to say that the exclusive 49.99 copy is suppose to be the ps+ version and psn dent realize the free ver is not available??? wow wait a year for this…
And really, I’m not even so much pissed that the game isn’t there, if they would just tell us so (I actually have a pre-ordered hardcopy waiting for me at the store, just in case I will like what I see in the PS+ version, IF that comes). However, I do agree with others that the free games (actually the biggest reason I bought into PS+) have been disappointing so far, and I am not sure how Sony expects me to subscribe for another year of PS+ if they keep this up. The one game that looked promising isn’t there, you can’t blame people for being slightly ticked off… I mean, what’s the real benefit of PS+ for their customers? It starts to look more and more like a hidden subscription to be able to play online, kind of like what M$ got a lot of heat for before the launch of their latest Xbox.
Oh, and @150, how is PS+ an amazing value if one doesn’t do a single thing with it?

Wow this is the saddest sale of the year. And yet again a poor selection of PS+ games. I haven’t had + since march and I won’t be subscribing again anytime soon , its not even worth having to play online with the ps4. I will probably just buy a PC to play BF5 and stay off line withy ps4 when I get it. Let’s hope a flash sale happens Friday to save us from this sad week in PS history.
