Also side note, anybody know why suddenly my other accounts with PS+ are no longer giving me the benefit to access things like ps+ required content on Destiny? I have been using my wifes PS+ for the last week and hers is still active so I dont get why all of a sudden this function would mess up now.
Apparently Destiny is just out of whack right now due to a recent patch update!! I Successfully got into a online match which requires PS+ to do.

bray, they said it would be at a later update. they never gave a specific release. someone did complain that it was promised and they are pissed about it not being there, but it was never promised, nor did they ever state it would be available on release. they said that months ago. but it is coming.
@959 Just because you accept a subpar service doesn’t mean everyone else does…I WANT WHAT I PAID FOR…it’s not like I’m asking for every ps4 game to be free I want what you said you would release SPECIFICALLY YESTERDAY…it shouldn’t even be a “PS Plus” edition in the first place…
And I don’t know why everyone is directly blaming Sony, Evo Studios has more to do with it as they are the ones that have to make it available. If sony was having an issue with THEIR server, than all games would be having problems online. Sony’s servers just act as a gateway to other servers that we play on. This is a problem with Evo Studios. THEY are the ones holding back the PS+ Edition.
I bought a PS4 at launch mainly for Driveclub, they delayed the release as you all know. My PS4 has been a netflix box for almost a year. We are finally hitting stride and some good games are around the corner. I have to pick favorites and these games bid on my time. You delayed the game for a whole year… I was pretty sour. I withdrew my pre-order… I moved on. I didn’t care about Driveclub anymore. Then you fellas pop up with another announcement stating a release date and started rolling commercials in front of every twitch stream on the internet. Now you tell us that in that whole year of what should be considered “tightening up the game”, you’ve managed to fail to deliver to us again.
I *was* one of the customers that lost interest in the game because they delayed at launch, I regained interest recently and you’ve delayed me at launch again.
There are other racing games coming soon, I’ll be looking at those.
You’ve burned this bridge.

I’m not even sure if I wan’t DriveClub anymore, I was going to try it for the “demo” to see if it would get me interested enough to pay for it, but now I’m not sure if I want to even try it out. I’ll just be waiting here patiently for WWE 2K15 instead.
@964 It is ultimately sony’s fault they announced the game at e3 it was supposed to be on launch and they delayed it an entire year then they recently announced that it would be free with ps plus yesterday but it’s not there and they have yet to give an official reason why so yeah it is sony’s fault smh
LxDx, you are paying for Sony’s service. You arent paying any money to EVO Studios, so what service are you asking for? You are getting everything PS+ says it offers. You are paying for the ability to connect to the servers for these games. Those servers are not under Sony’s control, they are at the hands of the studio, and whoever is hosting them. You are not GAURANTEED these issues will NEVER come up. They do not say in their ToS that you will never have problems playing online. It happens, live with it. It’s like buying a car and expecting it to never break down without regular maintenance. Thats just not going to happen. You overload ANYTHING too much, and it will crash. You push a car too much without maintaining it, it will break down.
LxDx, Evo Studios delayed the game actually. Once again, stop saying “sony this and sony that”
All of this downtime has led me to read more and more reviews about how mediocre DriveClub is. No customization, horrible AI that isn’t aware of your positioning, and the AI can ram your car but you will get penalized, were the most talked about problems on multiple review sites. Even some Need for Speed games had basic car customization! DriveClub is also touted to be this socialized racing game and it doesn’t even do this properly. Total let down, DriveClub is definitely not a blend of Forza and Need for Speed, it is most certainly not a Forza Horizons clone or killer. It’s really just a game that should’ve been $30 when the Playstation 4 launched. It is no where near worth $50 and I feel sorry for the folks who pre-ordered it digitally.
Sony realy handled this poorly. Some simple communication about what was going on with the plus edition not showing up when it was supposed to be would’ve been fantastic.

@964 Do you honestly not realize that Evo Studios IS Sony? Evo is a fully owned and operated division of Sony, it’s an internal studio. So blaming Evo is the same as blaming Sony.

PS+ has turned in to a joke
We used to get pretty good games like BF3, Hitman, Payday 2 etc like usually at least one good game per month. Now we get 2 crap games like Batman and Sperlunky. While Xbox 360 players get Battlefield Bad Company 2 this month, we got no good games since many months. Hoard, sports friends, velocity, PS All Stars… Thanks for those LOL. Now that we got to pay to play online, no more reason to offer nice games??
And driveclub one year late and still can’t get anything right. Driveclub was supposed to soften the blow about requiring us to pay to play online since we’re supposed to get this premium game for free, but its just a big demo and I bet its the buggiest game ever even after being one year late.
Way to over promise/under deliver folks. DriveClub was a launch title. People bought PS4s for it. Then it got pushed back. Now it’s unavailable to the people you said it would be available to. Another time, when online play was free, and PS+ was an option this might not have been a big deal, but PS+ isn’t really an option anymore. The PS4 is incomplete without it! And the PS+ version of DriveClub is one of the perks promised to fans for having to pay an annual fee for a fully functioning console.
It wouldn’t take much to make this right.

A lot of good games this week but nothing that I’ll be paying full price….and I won’t buy anything on the sales if it ain’t below $5.
Also very nice to see Monsters Inc. being released on the classics…I played that game on PS1 and damn it was fun.When movie games used to be good hoho those were good times.Will get Strider 2 and probably Monsters Inc. as well.
I’m pumped to play that Dust game but I can’t…yet…..and will take a while until I give it a go to Pix the Cat.

I don’t think they delayed the free version to sell the full game. That’s a counter-intuitive hard-sell when you consider that the free version would act as a catalyst to sell the full version to the masses with no upfront cost to try.
I think we are experiencing the results of poor time management in the development house and lack of preparation.

while i think it’s just that the evo division of sony is incompetent and not some conspiracy to sell the game, the possibility isn’t completely unrealistic.
what you are saying about how the demo version could be a catalyst to sell the full version only holds true if the game is good. by delaying the game, it can potentially get on the fence gamers to pick up the full version rather than waiting for the demo to become available, and before there is a broad consensus about if the game is good or crap. the early reviews (both from reviewers and regular gamers) has been pretty negative on the game so far.

It’s a shame about Driveclub. PlayStation just doesn’t have a good racing franchise anymore and I was hoping Driveclub would be it. Gran Turismo is basically dead, the last game was completely uninspired with terrible sound effects. Also this far into PS4’s release no GT announced for it. Sadly, gotta go for Xbox One if you want a great racing game these days. Maybe we’ll get lucky and Project CARS will be awesome for all.

You realize the D&D game is just a port of 2 arcade games from the early and mid 90’s, right? If you don’t like classic beat-em up arcade brawlers, (Such as TMNT, The Simpsons, X-Men, Final Fight, etc.), then this game isn’t for you. I on the other hand am having a blast with it, playing with my brothers online and reminiscing about the days when arcades were everywhere.
