It’s almost time! 10am Pacific Time today marks the start of PlayStation’s annual gamescom press conference in Cologne, Germany. And as per usual, our buds at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe are streaming the whole darned thing live — and you can watch it all right here (or on PlayStation Blog EU, if you want to soak in a bit of that European flair).

A quick note: much like E3 is targeted to the US audience and Tokyo Game Show is targeted at Japan, the gamescom press conference is primarily aimed at European gamers — please keep that in mind as you watch. Not everything mentioned or shown in today’s presentation will necessarily apply to those of us in North America. We’ll post on all appropriate things for the North American market right here, however, just as we always do.

I could careless what M$ is doing they are desperate to stay competitive against Sony at the moment. Their dirty tricks will bite them in the ass in the long run.
My concern is Vita exclusives. Such a powerful machine and these developers are scared to create great games. Make a great AAA game and people will buy your game and the system.
Sony is in a great place and its theirs to lose. Let’s have a great GamesCon!!!

Share play sounds crazy good. Star Trek technology compared to 1988. I am assuming it is PS4 exclusive, but any chance it will be able to share to vita since the remote play functionality is already there?
PS TV also sounds crazy good for ps4 streaming around your house, but again: any chance of Vita streaming to it so that we can play games on the big screen using vita as the controller? Because if you want $100 on day one from me, you will have it.
Also, Gravity Rush 2. No chance or does the developer have some scheduled time to announce it?

If SCEA and SCEE cared about the Vita half as much as SCEJ does, we wouldn’t be burying you so prematurely. Pretty much all these games could be on Vita yet it was mentioned ONE time. ONE TIME! It’s a double sword too. If all I wanted was indie titles I’d stick to PC, why do I need a 400 dollar console to play something I’d rather play on my Vita?

I liked that they focused on Indie Titles. But I would have liked to see more!!!
MGS V was a nice nod to the Fans, like me. That made my day when they said he was coming on stage, and well
I screamed like a fan girl.
Blood Borne was a nice tease. Made me want to get it just by the combat alone.
LBP3 looks cool as usual.
I was hoping Hell Sword was Heavenly Sword 2.
Drive Club looks beautiful!
With less than a year before we get the ORDER, I wanted to see some more innovative gameplay mechanics, but oh well.
Overall all the games looked nice. But I hoping for a non indie game exclusive to be announced.

MS surprised everyone with the Tomb Raider announcement. I hope it turns out to be a timed exclusive. They really screwed over the hardcore tomb raider fans. It was like, hey MS paid us for the game and well now we care less if you play it or not. WE GOT MONEY!!!
I hope to see sunset overdrive come out in a few years to PS. Or at least a sequel. Something like what happened with Mass Effect. We will see what happens though as time goes on.

PS4, PS4, PS4… That’s all I see. Where are the VIta games? Where is the continued support Sony was supposed to keep giving the PS3 for years after the PS4 release? I see nothing of that. Instead they keep taking games away from PS3 to make them PS4 exclusives.
