This month our PlayStation Plus members will receive two games free the day they release on PlayStation Store — Road Not Taken on PS4 and Metrico on PS Vita. In addition to these titles, members will receive other popular games like Fez on PS4, Crysis 3 and Proteus on PS3 and Dragon’s Crown on PS Vita.
PS4 owners can enjoy two puzzle games with very different mechanics. First up, there’s Road Not Taken, where you’ll aim to strategically maneuver through a forest as efficiently as possible with only a limited amount of stamina, all while saving lost children. Then you can don a fancy hat in Fez, as you jump around pixelated 2D levels housed in a 3D world. Shift your view of the landscape with the hit of a button and journey to find the pieces of a Hexahedron.
On PlayStation 3, Crysis 3 offers the sandbox first-person shooter world that made the franchise famous and there’s a new toy to play with – the Predator Bow. If you enjoy multiplayer, there’s a new mode here called Hunter where two players are pitted against a team of CELL agents with the goal of slowly turning all of them into fellow Hunters. Then, there’s the soothing experience of Proteus, where you’ll explore procedurally generated islands with a dynamic soundtrack.
Finally, PlayStation Vita owners will get their hands on the highly-anticipated puzzle-platformer Metrico and critically-acclaimed action RPG Dragon’s Crown. Traverse a world filled with infographics in Metrico, but don’t be fooled by the clean presentation – proceeding through these charts isn’t as straightforward as it might seem. Invite up to three friends to join you in the dungeons of Dragon’s Crown, and thanks to Cross-Play you can even go adventuring with your buddies who have PS3s.

Speaking for PS4. The most expensive devie here. This has been the 3rd month of dissappointment.(with strider as the lone exception. 2 d games, crappy graphics, horrible first play let alone replay value. How about a poll for next months game posted around tge middle of the month and let us choose from a pool of games? Either way it sucks to have the best console and the worst games. May as well get a nintendo gameboy

Awful month ,how bout awful year ,at least with my ps3 we got an awesome game lineup last summer on ps plus with games like bf4 saints row 3,metro,but ps3 ‘s lineup has fallen short since then ,how bout a little customer appreciation ,we are paying for this service after all,the ones who have been ranting and raving about this months ps plus lineup ,clearly work for sony ,because none of my ps4 friends are impressed with it

This is fantastic! I really hope that you guys and gals at Sony realize that the whiners and complainers here definitely represent the vast minority. Some people just can’t be pleased. Why is it that we keep getting low graphic indy games shoved at us for our ps4 s? The games we get for ps3 are way better. You would thik Sony would want to show off the power of the new system.
sony will never listen to us in the matter of plus! so now i have an opportunity to buy Xbox one And become it’s Fan , because of EA Access and their monthly good free games . i think after u had plus mandatory for multiplayer games you are just saying “ok they’re buying PLUS for now and monthly we give them some crap indie games” … and to those who say PS4 has little amount of AAA or downloadable “Good” Games , we can Have Oddworld Transistor Valiant Hearts Lego Marvel and many more if sony wants …

I for one, am pretty amped for Road Not Taken. I was hoping that it would eventually make it to Plus since my gaming budget is limited. This certainly exceeded what I was going for
People are crazy complaining about PS Plus, Dragons Crown alone is 25 -40 bucks retail which pays for half the membership. Plus cloud saves which has literally saved my ass when someone stole my PS3. And automatic downloads. Plus xbox doesnt have a portable system for games we get 6 they get 4 for 50$ a year not $60. They actually started the whole free game thing when xbox only had you pay for live to play online. If you dont see the value of Plus you must be crazy. FYI Sony bring 3d back in your games I bought a 3d tv and still play resistance 3, crysis 3, killzone 3, puppeteer in 3d. Its not a fad, 4k is House of Cards looks amazing in 1080p, people cannot even see 4k thats a fact.
fYI Fez is amazing, it doesnt look it but if your 30 or over you will sense the Zelda ish nostalgia.
@Chip1010: I thought that as well. What he’s trying to do, I think, is avoid having his downloads of indies counted as actual interest in them. But you’re right: It doesn’t quite add up to “voting with your wallet.”
I believe people who find themselves deeply dissatisfied with Plus every month (on one system or across all) should stop subscribing, at least until games they want are added. Many are already doing this; it’s just that most of them don’t post here. Another idea would be to shorten the term. Buy a 1-month or 3-month card next time and use it only when you see something you want.
I also think Sony should send out a reminder when your Plus is about to end, along with a survey. This would be useful for tailoring Plus to better serve those who took the time, but also to find out why some people aren’t re-subscribing.
In other news, some of the silliest comments here go something like: “All I care about this month are X and Y. The rest suck.” As if 2 games you like somehow isn’t enough. And while I get that the “no more indies” crowd wants retail-quality games, the others saying “this month sucks” aren’t going to be taken seriously until they can provide some idea of what they *would* like.
I was hoping forward to tho something’s last month gave us dead space 3. But now crysis 3 -_- really? They could do way better than that. Give us maybe midnight club or maybe kill zone.
This is one of the best month’s that I’ve have seen for PS+! I don’t own any of these games, and I’m pretty sure I’ll end up playing every single one of them!
I don’t understand why people want big AAA titles so much. If there is a big AAA game that I want, I have usually played it already. If they gave me a bunch of AAA games, I’d most likely have played them or I would not be interested in playing them at all. I’d much rather continue to get brand new, smaller titles that I have never played than a bunch of old big titles that I already own.

As I said before, this is a fantastic month of games. The only one I already own is Fez (which I beat). It’s a great game if you haven’t played it yet, definitely worth the time.

lets be honest here guys, in the last few months there has been nothing even remotely good on ps plus for ps4 users. – apart from strider maybe. nobody likes indie games except hipsters!
So when is it going to update as of this posting I’m still only seeing dead space 3 and vessel. Im really looking forward to crisis 3 just would like a stricter update schedule, or the information on the current way the games are updated like if it is day and time specific and are you guys are prompt about it or not.

I have been noticing for months now that in the free games section ,in playstation plus, it says there are four games to choose from but only displays two games up in the right hand corner and the join now deals (three of the latter). Is anyone else having this problem? I used to be able to come home from deployments and look at all the free games that came up while I was gone, now it only lists the two most recent games, is something wrong with my PS3 or is this the way that it is now?

Another disappointing month for PS4. I was told full retail games would be offered like for the other systems or i would have never payed to get ps+. complete waste of money.
So basically don’t buy independent games cause in a 2 months or so chances are good you will get it free.
Yet another reason ps4 is a waste of money. Honestly get an old ps3 update the graphics card and proof ps4 with ps3 ui and no touch screen controller which isn’t that great anyway.

Is it just me not having these games that they are advertising? The filter says that there are 4 games available, yet all I see are 3 advertisements for playstation plus, and then two games from last month in the upper right hand corner
