I finally got around to snazzing up the layout of our monthly PlayStation Store Top Sellers post! What do you think?
Last month, Ubisoft’s open world cyber-epic Watch_Dogs took the top spot on PS4, but we saw strong debuts from EA Sports UFC, Valiant Hearts and Entwined. Minecraft ruled the PS3 charts, but we saw a resurgence of some older favorites like Ni no Kuni and PlayStation All-Stars. Rainbow Moon and Real Boxing took spots 1 and 2 on the Vita side, respectively, and GTA: San Andreas was the #1 PS Classic last month.
Head over to the EU PlayStation.Blog to see how their charts compare, and let us know who you think this month’s chart-toppers will be.

Since, Infamous SS is the last game on PS4 list, why don’t you guys reduce the price already? It’s $39.99 on Amazon.
And I’m not surprised Ni No Kuni is 2nd on PS3 list thanks to the great Flash sale last month. We need more sales like that. Not this so called “Summer Blast” for the last 2 weeks.
@sbaradan06
Ironic that NNK in the Flash Sales bumped up in the list, but the Summer Sale couldn’t do the same to Lords of Shadow 2.
Then again, NNK’s price was rock bottom.
@sbaradan06
I agree with you
SUIKODEN II would totally own the PS Classics category if only you SCEA people had taken some effort to release it (even a Konami employee said that the ball is in SCEA’s court.
Amazing how FF VII has never let go of the top 10.
I wonder how much more CB would sell if it became Vita compatible. Probably a small bump in sales, but eh.
too bad we didnt get any decent sales. Pretty sad that Microsoft actually had better sales going on over on the 360 this week than you have offered all summer
It is great to see Plastation All Stars up there! For those that have not bought it yet, I recommend you to do so. It is a very fun party brawler that is great to play with friends or for epic online matches.
Will you ever make Crash Bandicoot 1/2/3 compatible to PSV?
Very, very sad Transistor is not in the PS4 section… Shame on you people, Shame
BTW, dear SCEA – summer is the perfect time to play SUIKODEN II. Not only because it’s a beefy JRPG, but also because of its setting. The very least you can do for loyal PlayStation fans is to add this amazing PS1 Classic ASAP.
PLEASE make Crash and Spyro Vita compatible!
More PSP games too! Why can’t I play Resistance: Retribution or Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror on my Vita?? It’s been years and no progress has been made at allowing more PSP games to work on Vita.
How come MGS1 and all crash bandicoot and spyro games are Vita compatible in the japanese psn and not everywhere else?
Seriously people… Look at the japanese PSN, look at the number of PS1 and PSP games that are available and compatible with the Vita and compare it to the US/EU library.
I’m really glad to see Valiant Hearts and Child of Light so high up in the list :D
#9 Too expensive for my liking.
Good to see my fellow Ubisoft Montreal at the top of the PS4 charts with Watch_Dogs!
The shocker to me is that Transistor fell completely off the PS4 charts after just one month.
glad to see MonMon on the list!!
Where is the Heavenly Sword movie that was supposed to be released in June???
EA Sports UFC was such a disappointment. Undisputed was SOOOOO much better.
I hope SCEA notices that almost all of the top sellers had PS+ sales last month.
Maybe that will cure the trend of week PS+ offerings.
(weak) — duh sp
Picked up Watch Dogs, UFC, and Entwined. Great month for PS4.
@12 That’s backwards, IIRC they’re compatible everywhere except on the NA store. Obviously due to legal/licensing, SCEA don’t care about Vita so won’t do anything about it, it wouldn’t have took this long.
In Canada,
Did Microsoft increase the price of the Xbox one? Did Nintendo increase the price of the Wii U? Did Nintendo increase the price of the 3DS/XL/2DS? Did Sony increase the price of the Vita? Guess not eh?
Than you to completely ignore Canadian customer and keep the price high for your next gen and it sell not very because they have stock everywhere.
Start dropping prices on PS4 games! more than 5 months old.
I wonder if any of those horrible summer sale titles will make the list next month.
Also why can’t we get some of those great EU sales here
UFC and minecraft in the top places?…WTH do people have in their minds?…anyway I’m suprised to see Left Behind in the list of DLCs and glad that Ultra SF4 took the 1st place from lame Ghosts DLCs.
@ dodgedoors: I did my part and bought it Day One, so my purchase was counted back in May. I’m guessing most people who were excited for the game probably bought it the first week or two it was out. There’s no helping it…
So glad PlayStation All-Stars is in the top 3. Great game and I hope a sequel will be made for the PS4 in the not too distant future.
Have to second the Big in Japan sale that EU had.
Thought US had the better sales.
Can’t justify supporting Sony anymore. I may continue buying due to Vita, but my advice to friends now is go Xbox.
And don’t think I am ungrateful for the past sales …..on DIGITAL.
But got a deep feeling it is only to get customers, not to keep them.
Awesome to see Valiant Hearts up there! (on PS4 anyway). Guess it couldn’t compete with the PS3 sales of June.
Crash Bandicoot NEVER DIES! ❤
Tearaway!
I like watch dogs and outlast on the ps4 every time i get on and play.
Do you happen to know why inFAMOUS First Light is on the PS4 list? Isn’t that game still preorderable and hasn’t released yet on PSN?
Are we counting preorders on the list now?
curious was there a sale on some ps3 that were listed? cause majortiy of them were relatively “old” titles
I’m surprised to see GTAV so high up on the PS3 list, what with the PS4 release looming. GTAV has been on my list ever since it came out, but now it makes more sense to wait for the PS4 version. I was also surprised to see Minecraft at number one. Call me crazy, but I’ve just never understood the appeal. There are certainly plenty of other games that I would rather be playing.
@25: learn some business. Wii U is flopping, Nintendo can’t raise the price and there is no need. Stock is already sitting on shelves. Xbone needs to stay competitive so are taking the hit to do so and it wasnt selling as well as PS4 either. Vita isn’t selling well, so it’s stupid to increase the price because I doubt retailers were putting in new orders for it.
Should’ve preordered for launch. If you did for it or games you’d saved a lot of money. Your problem.
Interesting to see Minecraft at the top of the list. It seems like it has been selling like hotcakes since it first released.
SUIKODEN 2
Suikoden 2 would be so awesome.
I’m with you guys, come on Suikoden II! I could never track down a copy to own for a reasonable price :s
The fact that Metal Gear Solid & Crash Bandicoot both still display PSP/PS3 is a straight up embarrassing atrocity.
For those that don’t know, you can play Metal Gear Solid on the PS Vita if you first download it to the PS3, keep it in bubble format, then install to Vita via data cable.
Guys, a verified Konami USA’s employee on NeoGAF said that he keeps reporting the demand for SUIKODEN II to his bosses, but they see it as a small matter. He recommends being vocal about brining SUIKODEN II as a PS1 Classic because it’s the only way to convince certain suits to push a few papers. He added that we should keep hitting both Konami USA and SCEA. There’s a campaign on Thunderclap called Suikoden Reminder that’s just for that. Let’s support this.
*about bringing
Aww you guys cut the PSP lists? I update a thread on a Final Fantasy fan-site tracking Square Enix’s performance on these PSN lists. The PSP lists were always fun to look at, but were almost always dependent on sales which occurred that month.
So Justin why is PS Vita’s list only a top ten, instead of a Top 20 like it’s PS4 and PS3 counterparts? Likewise, why does it not have an Add-ons top ten like the PS4 and PS3?
@ Elvick_: Yeah, that guy’s post was kind of hard to understand, due to his wording, but he was actually just another person complaining about the price hike on games in Canada. He wasn’t asking anyone to raise prices, or complaining about availability.
He was basically saying “Did anyone else raise the price of their goods? No? Then why did you, Sony? This is why you have stock just sitting on the shelves in Canada.”
