Update: An earlier headline for this post stated that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is coming to PS Vita, which was incorrect. Type-0 is coming to PS4 in North America and Europe.
I’d like to start this out by thanking everyone who let us know how badly you wanted this game to come to North America. Ever since the original PlayStation Portable release in Japan, you guys have never given up on it, raising your voices in an effort to see this title come to North America and Europe. Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s coming and it’s going to be in HD.

@ theodor70941 They made a fan translation because Square showed absolutely no signs of releasing it in the West. I’d rather support the fan translation because at least they didn’t finish a game translation and then decide to not release it.

Let me just say thank you Square! I have been one of those voices eagerly awaiting this title and I am very excited to here it is coming to the Vita! This is how you listen to the consumers. Keep this up and you can restore faith in a series and a company we have always loved.

So, this blog entry says it’s coming to VIta but the press release sent to media outlets only say PS4 and that other HD console that shall remain nameless. Why not say it’s coming to PS4 here too? I suspect foul play.
That was my first thought, with @19 saifiq: This news comes out RIGHT AFTER the fan-translation got done. That’s a slick undercut troll, SQEX.
Still, with the PS Vita TV thing announced for the West, this’ll be on my radar. One way or another, Vita gameplay will be mine!
