  • PrimeroIncognito is a paid commentator, Sony surely pays him to do damage control. I know his type, it’s a low job.

“It’s about gameplay” PC users have the same gameplay, plus 8300×4000 or something like that. I think you can drop your self-rigtheous pose now.

  • They could do 1080p if they put more effort in. Simple as that. Look at all the other 1080p ps4 games. EA and Ubi are lazy and do ps3 / ps4 ports without putting in REAL effort and time into their releases. Look at assassins creed 4 where they PATCHED 1080p in later, because they were too lazy to do the best job BEFORE releasing the game. Nuff said. Just want ppl to know the truth about these terrible companies..dont expect anything better from them.

  • And on that note…that is why I never buy games from them until theyre dirt cheap and fully patched / 100% done………i suggest others do the same. There are better games to play, especially all the great dlc released on the ps3 this week. Not to mention new FREE dlc on Killzone PS4.

It’s 2014?!?! When did that happen?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Qatsmasher on May 13th, 2014 at 6:50 pm said: “A console game in 2014 not running at my TV’s native resolution is embarrassing.”

Placing so much emphasis on resolution (especially when the game in question is running close to max), is embarrassing.

Is the game not worth playing now? Is the gameplay ruined?

900p?!? Oh no! That’s terrible! Watch_Dogs is officially ruined!

If only. I wish I could be paid to post messages on the blog. That would be awesome.

Telling the truth =/= damage control. Sorry. :/

Or maybe they just have deadlines to meet… deadlines that, if missed, could destroy their budget, send all of their future projections into a tailspin, and ruin their company. But, of course, you don’t know much about business. Which is fine, but you shouldn’t talk like you do when you really don’t. That’s the part that sucks.

  • 30fps ruins games and YouTube sucks due to that in that aspect. It will eventually upgrade, just like Ubisoft should have done all they had to do to squeeze 6 cores remaining on the PS4.

    I’ll get this game when it’s like… $15.

One of the most absurd things I have ever read. Yes, ever. Congratulations for lowering the bar! Did you just start gaming this year?

    @ Bahumat

Are you talking about yourself? Seems like it. My opponents tend to contradict and project themselves. All I’ve done is tell the truth and it seems to bother you. You can’t stand being corrected.

None of those things describe me. I always admit when I’m wrong. Did you already forget last week when I said that when something goes awry in my life, it’s always my fault? That I always take responsibility for my actions?

I don’t need you to see things “my way”, I point out THE FACTS that you have ignored or denied. My willingness to accept all things true means that it’s impossible for me to feel threatened by new information. My only belief is that truth is the most powerful force on Earth.

  • PrimeroIncognito

If I needed approval from others, I’d be kissing ass all the time and avoiding confrontation. I have no pride in being rational, I feel obligated to remain in that state at all costs. I’ve expressed personal, sensitive feelings on this blog numerous times.

I don’t care if our opinions differ, I only take issue with someone presenting their opinion as fact, or knowingly spreading misinformation. If I have charm, I have no clue how to use it, and I’ve yet to be angry on this blog.

Why resort to such a radical attack? Why do you feel threatened by me?

  • Don’t be mad it’s 768p on xbox one

  • Lolz Primer’s mad. Good one, Bahamut.

  • Owned.

  • @Bahamut – Love how he immediately proved your point in his next point. Hilarious! I may borrow your checklist for future use…

  • ….point in his next *post*….

  • @Michael Madavi – Any way we could turn off the nude parts, like what was done with graphic content in past COD games? Really wanted to play this alongside my teenage son, but can’t if the graphic sexual content isn’t avoidable. Disappointed that this was originally a T rated game and has changed to an M rated game. Hoping you guys thought of this in advance and there is a way around it. Can you respond please?

  • Already got mine pre-ordered :3

  • PART 1.
I agree with most other comment’s, 900p is really unacceptable. I never believed it would be a locked 60fps, I expected 30fps and I’m totally fine with that. Esp for a game like this .. but sub 1080p? NO .. anyone who claims it doesn’t matter, come see the massive difference between 900/1080p on my 42″ led. 900p is blurry, with a ton of artifacts, aliasing etc. While 1080p looks hair sharp with no aliasing.

HOW did this happen? Ubi first claimed PS4 version was already 1080p and they were close with the X1 .. then Sony put 1080p@60fps on their site (and removed it later) on top of that, both a german and a spanish site have played the demo 2 weeks ago. And they claim that ubisoft told them the game was 1080p on a solid 60fps. They also said that from their time playing it was indeed 1080p and 60fps with barely any fps drops. (NOTE: they did say the game looked mediocre and they weren’t impressed at all. WITH BOTH PC AND PS4)

  • So how is all of this possible? Some one needs to come out and address this. I canceled my preorder and won’t buy the game unless it has a 9.5+ on meta (which I highly doubt) or they release a 1080p patch (which I also doubt this time) SIX MONTHS delayed and you give us 900p? This is not the way to launch a new IP, this is disgusting

I am 99% sure they are doing this to keep console parity. Which I find even worse. Remember the AC IV patch? 2 weeks after the game released!? WHEN MOST PEOPLE WERE DONE WITH THE GAME?! so all reviews/comparisons would paint the x1/ps4 version as equal…. I remember … pepperidge farm remembers …. we all remember

Anyway, 1080p or no buy period. If Infamous can do 1080p mostly 40+ fps, you should easily hit that target with your mediocre gfx. And I don’t find your “dynamic” world nonsense answer convincing .. 95% of that is also on the PS360

  • No instincts, no common sense, no sense of implicit messages.

  • “For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they became fools;”

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ pablofsi

Wow, you’re confused about me. I have never professed to be wise. In fact, I’ll tell you this right now: Wisdom comes from experience, and at my age, there’s no way in hell I’m even halfway to the wisdom that more than half of the rest of this world’s people possess. We all learn new things everyday (or should strive to, at least), and by the time we die, we still won’t even have 1% of all the world’s knowledge.

The only thing I’ve done (and I think this is where you’re getting confused) is surrendered to the truth. Whatever it is, no matter how uncomfortable, I accept it, allow it to run through me, and use me. The key thing you need to understand here, is, that I DIDN’T INVENT THE TRUTH. It was here long before I was born, and it will survive long past the time this planet sees it’s demise. We all know the truth when we see/hear/feel it, but unlike those who run away because it can be uncomfortable, I jump into it head on and let it consume me, even if it hurts me. Because I’d rather be truthful and suffering, than to live a life of pleasure in denial of reality.

  • PrimeroIncognito

Also, it’s funny that you brought up a passage that condemns speculation, because speculating is all that these crybabies do around here, including you, pablofsi08!

I also condemn speculation! Facts are much better! Experience, trial and error, learning from your mistakes… ALL are superior to thinking you know it all already!

  • I was already pumped for this game but after that awsome trailer im literaly counting down the days till launch, 1 question ca i buy a season pass separately

  • “Our intelligence is imperfect, surely, and newly arisen; the ease with which it can be sweet-talked, overwhelmed, or subverted by other hardwired propensities — sometimes themselves disguised as the cool light of reason — is worrisome.”

-Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan, 1992

Yeah, that’s right. I just went Carl Sagan on you. You keep talking about “the truth” but one man’s truth is not necessarily the truth of the man standing across the room. “Facts” are only a perception. It’s obvious that you’re young because you deal in absolutes. Nothing about life is absolute except taxes and death. The world is a much bigger place than your personal “truth” and until you realize that your prospects for your future are pretty narrow. Think beyond what you see with your own two eyes. Think beyond your day to day life. Maybe take the time in between your rants to actually speak to someone and have a conversation. Who knows? You may learn something from them

  • PrimeroIncognito

You misunderstand Sagan’s words. Ironically, he’s referring to the habits you exhibit on a regular basis!

It’s the lying to oneself that one does, to console one self, or soften the blow of uncomfortable thoughts and/or realizations. Seeking out the safe answer to every great mystery to avoid leaving one’s comfort zone. Accepting a lie that you’re told because it sounds good rather than right.

The same way that pablofsi brought up a biblical passage that curiously contradicts his own position, you too pasted a quote that you failed to fully comprehend. This the recklessness I’ve talked about before. You guys do it a lot.

There are many absolutes in life and taxes ISN’T one of them. All things relating to money are ultimately imaginary, as the power of money only exists in the minds of those who play the game. Money is a lie agreed upon (one of many), and that is the only reason it’s a necessity now, to survive in the societal structure we currently live in.

The sun is hot. All things have an equal opposite. Energy permeates all objects. These are some examples of absolutes. Sagan might even disagree with you that death is an absolute…

  • PrimeroIncognito

You also mistakenly referred to opinions as “facts”. Now it’s all starting to make sense! Why you contradict yourself the way you do!

You also brought up the “future”, but therein lies another illusion. The “future” is merely a concept. It is not a real, tangible thing. It has never existed and never will. It’s just like money and “authority”… our current society was built upon a foundation of illusions, enforced only by ego, and the succumbing to fear that the ego is prone to.

Academia is mostly a tool of manipulation and discipline. Truth is always found in humility. Knowledge is found in research without boundaries. Wisdom is found through experience.

    No.

If I, and the man standing across the room, have opposite views on any given subject, these are opinions. It’s possible that one guy has the facts while the other guy is just plain wrong (probably misinformed), but there’s no way that opposing statements can both be “truth”. That’s impossible. A tall person is not also short. Cold is not hot at the same time. Up is not down.

When two things clash, one can be right, or both can be wrong, but both CAN NOT be true.

Perception does not apply to truth. It only applies to opinion.

  • No, I didn’t misunderstand Sagan’s words. If you actually read your explanation about it it does apply to you. And sadly, you missed what I was saying about “truth” and “facts” that what’s true for you isn’t true for the rest of the world. You get on these little tirades day in and day out spouting your perception of truth and facts. A couple hundred years ago it was scientific fact that the earth was flat and the Earth was the center of the universe. People opened themselves up to possibilities and now look where we are compared to then. You’ve completely ignored the meaning behind what I said and instead try to insult me like you’ve done countless times and like you’ve done countless others on here. On top of the insults you try to make yourself sound smarter than you really are with these long explanations. It’s just condescending. Maybe if you actually understood what I was saying you’d try to have a conversation instead. Being rude and condescending does not a conversation make

Just like you proved me right on that checklist, you just proved me right again with yet another of your little diatribes.

  • PrimeroIncognito

Too self-absorbed to see that you contradicted yourself multiple times in that post. Are you not being condescending? Long explanations? Insulting? Trying to sound smarter than you are by quoting Sagan instead of speaking from personal experience? You definitely are, hypocrite.

Don’t just claim I did this or that, explain it. Point out exactly where and how I lined up with that “checklist”, if you can…

You’re doing what people always do when they lose… ignore the points and start attacking character instead.

  • OK well let me tell you straight then. This is friendly advice and I hope you take it as such. You get yourself way too worked up over what happens on this blog. This blog means nothing. Instead of spending your time on here insulting people that don’t agree with you, maybe your time would be better spent on another hobby. Play a game since this is a gaming site after all. Read a book. Go walk your dog. Go to the park. Go to the beach. I can think of a million things better than coming on here daily to pick fights with people. You don’t see me disrespect anybody else on here but you and occasionally that thumbsofsteel guy whatever his name is. For the most part he’s gotten the hint that he was being a tool in the way he speaks to people, but you for some reason can’t. You on the other hand disrespect every single person every single chance you get unless they think the exact same way that you do

  • I’ve told you before that you’re just a tiresome human being. If you don’t know what I meant by that you are too set in your ways to see the world around you and acknowledge that what’s true for you is not true necessarily for the rest of the world.

I’m bored with all this. Go ahead and get the last word in. I’ll go ahead and tell you you’re right so you can sleep tonight

  • PrimeroIncognito

You need to learn the definition for truth. It is NOT the flimsy, subjective entity that you mistakenly believe it to be. Truth itself is an absolute. There really is a right and a wrong, a positive and a negative. You are mistaken when you say, “facts are only a perception.”

Truth exists outside of perception. Skewed perception does not change the truth. When I speak of the truth, I’m speaking of the force that most people refer to as “God”.

Truth is unchanging. Infinite and immediate. It is omnipotent, omnipresent… all-seeing, all-doing, all-knowing. It can never be snuffed out.

Sometimes a lie may gain the upper-hand, temporarily, and seem like the better idea, decision, or whatever, but… all the truth has to do is stand there patiently, and wait for the lie to crumble under it’s own weight, as it always does. When the lie falls apart like the illusion that it is, the truth will still be standing there, unscathed. This repeats over and over again. Narcissists and deceivers never learn.

As stated, all things have an opposite and that’s why the nature of truth is infinitely enduring, while lies are repeatedly breaking down and need to constantly be rebuilt… just to fall down again… so silly.

  • PrimeroIncognito

So, you can’t explain how and where I matched those things on that checklist? Just more condescending character attacks is all you have left? As I expected.

Looks like your attempted deception just crumbled under it’s own weight, while truth endured, as usual. :)

  • Primer, I don’t even read your full rants anymore because you have persistently shown how full-of-crap you are. I don’t like to pick on individuals, but you should really get off the blog or change your behavior here. Whether people like a game or dislike it – whether they are right or wrong in someone else’s opinion – they generally just want to comment on the topic at hand and not be bombarded by your nonsense. People see your name here and dread what they are about to read, if they are going to read it at all. And before you say you don’t care what anyone thinks, you never would have replied to anyone’s criticisms of you if you didn’t care. Everybody cares. You care more than most, so why don’t you stop being the guy that everyone dislikes? And before you say it (so I don’t feel the urge to reply again), my complaints regarding LBP costume updates hardly makes us the same.

  • Also,in your back-and-forth with you and Bahamut, Bahamut won. You say he/she didn’t, but they did. Everyone agrees. Majority rules. The end.

  • Just 12 days!!!!

You didn’t read my posts, yet you’re certain of everything I said? Strange. You also speak for others a lot. Would it bother you to know that every time I have a discussion like this on the blog that I receive messages of support and friend requests in my inbox?

Go ahead, keep your head in the sand if it makes you feel good.
