Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, Batman! Yes, that is the sound of Batman: Arkham City coming to PlayStation Plus in April for PlayStation 3 owners. Arkham City garnered praise from gamers and critics alike, as evidenced by its cumulative 96/100 score on Metacritic. With the recent announcement of Batman Arkham Knight, this is a great way to catch up on Batman’s adventures.
PlayStation 4 owners can join up with friends and take down an evil corporation in a new 2D action game, Mercenary Kings. As you explore the island CLAW (that’s the evil corporation) has taken over, you’ll discover weapon parts that you can take back to your base and use to fashion together some new spiffy gear.
There are two other PS3 games this month: Stealth Inc. A Clone In the Dark and Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse. Stealth Inc. is, as you can probably guess, a game where you should stick to the shadows. The only way to make it out of the lab alive is via some sneaky platforming, so proceed with caution. Castle of Illusion is a proper remake of the Sega Genesis version, not just an HD upgrade. There are new levels to navigate but the goal is the same — save your #1 mouse (that’s Minnie) from the evil witch.
While Vita owners can also enjoy Stealth Inc. (the benefits of Cross-Buy!) this month, they’ll also get Velocity Ultra, an arcade-y space shooter where you’ll teleport around and save other ships, and Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD, a classic tower-defense style game where you’ll need to save baby Tiki-people.

@hazelcabug You’re right. There’s no way companies would give PS4 games for free. They worked so hard for it and it would be for nothing if they do gave it away. It’s like going to a restaurant and expect to get food for free. No, it doesn’t work that way. Chefs work hard to cook that food and you must respect them by paying for it. The only reason why Sony is giving out the better games on the PS3 is because of the publisher’s request and they have been out of the market for at least a year. People are just too dumb to understand this.
So that’s why I said insults to you in the first place. But now that your being honest, I’ll believe you since you make good points. Some PSP games do look hideous on Vita, I didn’t notice it until after the fact. Although, I’m not too sure if people want indie vita games instead of PSP titles. I think the result will still be the same, people complaining nevertheless.

I’ve kept sonic racing for Vita aside because it’s a racing game. I usually play actions or rpgs with some stories, so racing games tend to be just back-logged. Today I tried it and it’s amazingly good!
Finally, you release a game I have already played for PS3! My backlog of games won’t grow by much this month! XD Joking aside, Batman: Arkham City is a worthy addition to the PS+ IGC and will gladly download to play again just for the heck of it.

This is kinda like the stuff we got on the Xbox. PlayStation plus was great when i joined in Dec. seems like its going down hill.
Guys i never write on here i have been plus for two years and don’t regret it however beside the payday franchise when has plus ever given us a newer game? I enjoy plus mostly for the discounts to newer games because i am smart enough to know that they will not put games like assassins creed black flag and others like that on for 18 months at the least and 24 months at the most look at borderlands 1 and 2
I have Arkham City for Wii U, but I have absolutely no problem playing that masterpiece again. :)
Thanks again for slapping us in the face Sony! I guess I won’t be buying anymore discounted Plus Vita games. Pretty much every single game I have bought is now free. Thomas Was Alone, Lone Survivor.. now PixelJunk Monsters and Velocity? Clearly you put games on sale grabbing every last sale knowing you’re going to make em free.
Oh yeah and Stealth Inc, not to mention Prometheus as well…. or pretty much every indie game. Let me guess, Fez will be free in a few months?
PSPlus is so awesome, Bioshock infinite (not to mention the bioshock sale that’s going on right now, although idk if it’s happening with xbox as well), borderlands 2, uncharted, and now batman? investing in this 3 months ago was a smart move, I think. waiting any longer, I might’ve missed some gems

you need to understand that we pay good money for are ps4 and ps+
and that money was spent to play new games.if we wanted these indie games we would of went to the pawn shop to buy a
nintendo.these games are old and out of date.sony did not want to have to give us aaa games and thats the reason they came out with indie gams.they hyped it up like it was good but in reality its all about money.
i love my ps4 but im really thinking about a xbox one.i may have to pay for xbox live and get nothing but atleast i will be playing all the 3rd party games also.xbox has always had more game lineups.

I am sick of these archaic games! PS3 gets all the love. PS4 gets the indie crap cause it’s cheap. I still have a PS3 but I bought a PS4 cause it has the horsepower for the latest games. I guess there is no value in a PS+ subscription for PS4, unless you like to play Super Nintendo style games.

It really would be nice to have less indie games for the vita. That is essentially all that is even available. If you want to increase sales on the vita, offering great top level games (especially cross buy/play) on PS Plus would definitely make an impact. Vita needs more legit games, period.
