In case you thought we were done with Kingdom Hearts news for the year, you thought wrong!
As a holiday present to you all, and on behalf of the Square Enix team, I’m happy to unveil the next Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX trailer.
Picking up from where Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX ends, this trailer continues the journey of awesomeness and is chock full of some of your favorite characters like Roxas, Xehanort, Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, Terra, young Hercules, King Mickey, as well as Captain Jack Sparrow — just to name a few. The trailer spans over the three titles bundled in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is the follow-up compilation to Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. It’ll be available exclusively on PS3 and include the following titles:
- Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix — previously on PS2 and exclusive to Japan.
- Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix — previously on the PSP and exclusive to Japan.
- Kingdom Hearts Re:coded — HD remastered cinematics.

What about Dream Drop Distance? That should have also been included in II.5 as a cinematic movie.
It’ll be the only Kingdom Hearts not on PlayStation (aside from the not so important mobile games – the V CAST game, Kingdom Hearts Mobile, and the upcoming Kingdom Hearts χ [chi]).
Maybe we can get the cinematic movie of Dream Drop Distance with Kingdom Hearts III, or with a special edition of Kingdom Hearts III?
I am hyped for 2.5 remix although i feel like it will be a spoiler because no matter what i try i can never beat gansem or what ever his name is at the very end when he’s got this giant bastard behind him :/
So happy to see this in english! I’m curious why Re: Coded is just the cut scenes, it was a DS Game and probably could have been touched up a bit to make a full game honestly.
Will they also add dream drop distance?
@56 no, kingdom 3D came out in 2012 it’s pretty new and it uses the touchscreen on 3DS so they probably can’t port it over. this just has kingdom hearts 2.5 final mix, kingdom hearts birth by sleep final mix & kingdom hearts Re:coded in cinamatics. both final mix were exclusive to Japan, they include extra bosses & extra cut scenes. BBS is my favorite KH game so the final mix will be amazing

Birth by Sleep will be playable. That’s awesome. I haven’t played any of the handheld KH games, so I look forward to finally giving one a try.
Hi Matt, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who brought to us Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and for bringing us 2.5 soon. My only question is is it possible for us to see the capes in Birth by Sleep. The Lingering Sentiment had it in KH2 and I know you couldn’t have them in BBS because of frame rate issues but seeing that it’s on PS3 now hopefully it should be possible. Please let me know.

Im sure you wont be able to answer the question but had to try ;) Just REALLY hyped for this game it holds my top 2 favorite KH games in HD and extra content! I cant ask for more. But ill keep my patience because Square Enix has never let me down.

Hey Mat, I’m a die hard KH fan, but just a quick question, if you’re releasing 2.5 remix in 2014, how come it’s not on the PS4?
