Pre-order Call of Duty: Ghosts on PS3
It’s T-minus six days from the launch of Call of Duty: Ghosts on PS3 November 5th, and we wanted to share a few cool things we’ve been working on as we’re gearing up for the big launch.
Pre-order Call of Duty: Ghosts on PlayStation Store and you’ll be able to start downloading the game any time after 3:00 PM PT on Sunday, November 3rd so you can begin playing as soon as 12:01 AM PST on November 5th. This feature will be available for both the standard game and the Digital Hardened Edition.
Then, after you’ve picked up your game, take advantage of the Double XP event during launch weekend from Friday, November 8th (10:00 AM PT) to Monday, November 11th (10:00 AM PT). You’ll earn twice as much XP on all of your multiplayer accomplishments.
Also, for those of you planning on picking up a PS4, don’t forget you’ll be able to upgrade your PS3 version to the PS4 version for $9.99 — get the full details on that program here.

Yeah, I bought the regular, and its not letting me get anything except the theme. Figured it was an issue just for me, knowing my luck.

So when will you get the game in eastern time 3am, casue black ops 2 camos were released at 12 am est
@114, the game can not be played until 12:01 AM PT on 11/5…..that means if you are on the east coast you can not play the game until 3:01 AM ET. I contacted Sony today and they confirmed this regardless of what timezone you are in you can not play it until 12:01 AM PT. So the digital download doesn’t work for me, doing midnight release at Gamestop.
i started downloading mine from 12:05 UK time just went to my downloads an you’ll see the download arrow next to both just click on them the game is 11.3gb shows up as 12gb

To be clear in the USA… Those in EST who purchased the COD ghosts can download TODAY and PLAY it on 11/5 at 3:01 AM
Those who pre-ordered the PHYSICAL DISC will get it at midnight release on TUESDAY 12 am [by walk in store and get the disc in the case] so which mean they can play early than 3:01 am [like 12:30 or 1 depend on how far from store to their home] when they get home with the PHYSICAL DISC…
PHYSICAL DISC AND DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ARE DIFFERENT. I hope you understand.
@159, my gamestop is 10 minutes away and I know the manager so I get there at 11:50 and I am out by 12:10. So to me the three hours makes a difference cause I have to work at 8 AM. Personal preference is all.
how come i every time i attempt to purchase call of duty it say error occurred and then when i try online it says i’m not eligible

As long as it’s ready to download by the end of today.
I can just leave it overnight,should only take 3 hours to download anyways.Then have it shut its self off after it’s done.

As I said before. If you are in Europe, you can download it now. If you are in the US, Sony is doing maintinence and it will be available within the next hour or so. Just be patient. This is the US’s first preload.
If I use a vpn I can play at 12am

Well, here it is well after the announced time. I preordered it a few days ago and can not start the download. Only thing I can get is the theme.Thanks for wasting my time again. I don’t see why it’s so hard to meet your own announced schedule
@175, Lol, I am in the military, and took leave just to be able to play the game for a couple of days. I have been deployed for every other COD release, and refuse to miss this one. I needed a break from work anyway.
Does PSN have problems with so many people wanting to download or can it handle the load once it’s ready?
As far as bandwidth infrastructure, it can handle it. As far as processing so many requests at once, that remains to be seen.
6.6GB downloaded for me now, so it’s not having any slow down.
This is incredible. I´m from Argentina. Your 12 AM PST is 5 AM to start playing on tuesday, and 8 PM regarding the preload. Sony knew a week in advanced the would have to be ready at the time THEY DECIDE TO PRELOAD!!!!!!.
How can it be that when the tome comes, they start to upload the game to the store? Are they five year olds?

They should of let you download at 12:01 AM monday,so you have 24 hours to download…… At least give some leeway on the time.
