PSN PLUS US is giving GARBAGE PSP game to Vita subscriber! I wish I can sell my 1 year US subscription for just 20$ to my neighbor so I can transfer to EU or Asia!
SEA is the only GREEDY region Sony. Lack of vita games are not the issue on why US cannot give 2 vita game to psn vita subscriber. There are already tons of vita games Indie/AAA games in which EU and Asia proves it by giving 2 vita titles a month.
If these games are free then it’s fine but the FACT that it’s only RENTAL, why can’t SEA provide vita games to vita subscribe? We did not subscribe for psp, so allow us to play 2 VITA titles a month!
blah not interested in PSP games unless they are optimized for Vita controls and have trophies added.
The promotion is wholly uninteresting as well.
Still nothing for Vita :/
@ ChaseHammer and lookey
Who the hell is this “US” you speak of? You people don’t speak for me, so don’t sit there assuming you can put words in MY mouth. There’s a LONG list of PSP games I’d LOVE to have on my Vita. PSP games look better on Vita and in many cases actually PLAY better on Vita thanks to it’s complete button mapping. Same goes for PS1 game, you can play Star Wars Dark Forces or the PSP Battlefronts like proper modern shooters thanks to Vita, which really brings them right up to date and breathes new life into these games that were formally good looking for portable, but RUINED by wonky controls. I really can’t stand this new vocal minority who speak directly to companies on sites like this and presume to speak for everyone else with their nonsense, using words like “we” and “us”. What’s worse is when they are taken seriously by the companies.
Anyway, if anyone from Sony is listening, some great PSP games *I’d* LOVE to have on my Vita are;
The Neo*Geo psp ports
Untold Legends 1&2
Ridge Racer
Savage Moon
A Monster Hunter since Capcom refuses to bring over HD even though the game has already been localized
Ultimate Ghosts n Goblins
Dragons Lair
MYST
This isn’t directed to the poopy ps+ update, but towards vita. Where’s rainbow moon, where’s terraria, runner 2? Orc attack(that was a tease, coming to plus for free! Delayed.) this was “summer? Content. And i doubt we will see them next month either.
I don’t liked =(
Thanks so much for your reply TJF588, That answers everything!
will we ever see alien hominid come back to psn??
I guess I’ll try Metal Slug, but we’d really like some VITA games on PS+. Someone above mentioned that the UK is getting Unit 13. I’d love for that to come to the US Instant Game Collection. I’d also love to see Persona 4 Golden, or Rayman Origins, or Mortal Kombat, or even F1 2011!
Also, have to mention it every time. Why are Final Fantasy 1 & 2 PSP not available in the US store? When will media corporations realize that region locking accounts for quite a bit of piracy? I’d rather buy these and play them on my Vita than play them on my PC for free. Why can’t SE/Sony GET THAT?
Thanks so much for Metal Slug! I am very much looking forward to playing it!
Ha thanks Sony for Metal Slug XX…I never played this one…been a Metal Slug playa since the 1st PS1 games…I used to have lots of fun with my cousins…and beat countless times…but I never played this one so I’m really thankful….bring more PSP games.
pretty decent update, but when will the crash and spyro games will work on the vita? they’re available on other regions, same for ff5
Ghostwize i wish i can say the same but nope. the minimum amount im only able to add is 5$…. anyways il be getting everyday shooter for a 1$ on tuesday. pleaseeee let there be extra sales. i know critter crunch will be 1$ also but i already have that.
Looking forward to playing Metal Slug XX. Count me amongst the non-naysayers. I like getting PSP games on my Vita. There were a lot of great games that I missed out on cause I was focused on PS3, so it’s nice to get a chance to play some of those gems with a proper control scheme and on a beautiful screen.
I already bought the TWA DLC when the game first came out, so the discount is useless for me, but still nice for anyone who hadn’t bought it yet.
To everyone complaining about UC:GA, Wipeout 2048 and Gravity Rush needing to be changed out, the Vita IGC started last November. Those three games will be rotated after one year, just like the PS3 IGC. Learn patience, grasshoppers.
@105
I don’t think Alien Hominid was ever on PSP. They ported Castle Crashers when their exclusivity contract with M$ was up, but they never brought over their other games………..Castle Crashers…….now THERE’S a game I’d LOVE to play on my Vita.
I usually don’t comment often, but after seeing so many naysayers I decided that I’ll be the counter balance.
I want to thank Morgan and the rest of the PSN crew for dishing out so many great games on the PS Plus. I just bought a Vita last month and I’ve never owned a Sony handheld before. I heard that there weren’t many games for the system, but it doesn’t look like that to me. Since I’ve never played the PSP before, the number of games for the Vita on the PS Store is a bit overwhelming for me (over 680 games, including PSP games). I never knew that there were several great PSP games available, but thanks to PS Plus I’m able to try out a few of them now.
@ 101 Who the fu*k are you to call yourself majority? Those who like a psp some are trollers who owns only a ps3 to troll vita users and some who are very few who likes psp.
Us who mostly owns a VITA wants a VITA GAME! We subscribe for PSN PLUS for VITA, we did not subscribe for PSP! So back off and go to cave if you still play psp!
Edit- I meant Alien Hominid was never on PSN, of course, not PSP.
The good stuff will start coming in August, once the free PS plus trials from the E3 booth end at the end of the month. Sony always tends to do that. Same thing happened when PSN got hacked and we all got free plus.
Aww man, I was excited until I saw that it wasn’t one of the Metal Slug games for PS3. Oh well, past couple weeks have been pretty much nothing for me, but that’s ok; I have plenty of plus content I still have to play.
@morgan or anyone who has done this.
So you can add more time to you’re membership? Can this be purchased through the PS Store or would I need to buy a PS+ card?
Thanks for answering.
you can do this both ways either through a card, or in the PS Store.
