Holy Guns! Nun Attack Coming to PS Vita Tomorrow

We’re proud to be bringing the beloved gun-wielding nuns from our hit mobile game Nun Attack to PlayStation Vita. Eons have passed since the power-thirsty Fallen Nun took over the mortal world, spawning evil across the land. In a world where evil is taking over and prayers are no longer answered, there is only one type of divine intervention left, and it’s armed to the teeth!

Nun Attack on PS Vita

In this epic tactical action game, intuitive touch-screen controls direct your holy squad through fast-paced combat while they unleash a fury of biblical proportions. Lead Eva the leader, Rosy the slayer, Olga the tank and Mandy the healer to defeat the Fallen Nun and restore balance to the world.

Nun Attack for PS Vita is not a simple port; we’ve adapted the game to provide a great experience on the handheld. We’ve upgraded the graphics a notch, and entirely redesigned the difficulty of the levels since we’ve removed all of the micro-transaction mechanics.

  • I won’t get it tomorrow, but I’ll surely get it in April!
    Thanks guys!

  • Is this some sick April fool’s joke, this is superb for that price. I’ll definately pick this up!!!!!!!!!!

  • I sincerely agree that we need more REAL console quality games like Assassins Creed Liberation and Soul Sacrifice on the Sony PS Vita. However, Nuns with guns? That’s simply something I can’t ignore and so I will download and try out this game because we need more action video games with religious themes.

  • Well, I was actually considering this. You don’t see many good nun based games anymore, but this is keeping me from actually buying it.

“Unfortunately megacarlos, we kept the touch-controls while we adapted the game. They should work properly though.”

There is a reason we don’t just play games on our iPods and Androids… because we HATE touch screen controls for games like this.

If you can change this (with a patch) to use proper controls I will buy it. Deal?

  • what’s the point of porting a game to the vita if you’re not going to take advantage of the thumb sticks and buttons?!

  • I am all for Vita native mobile games, I will but this in support, like I have the rest that have come to Vita so far (including DLC for Jetpack Joyride).

Do you guys have any mobile RPGs? I would love those on Vita… if not, if you know people from a mobile dev who does make them… tell them to fill the RPG void on PSN and Vita!

@48: Yay didn’t hear about Epic Mickey 2 until your comment. Would rather get the 3DS game minus the terrible drawing.

  • Using my tablet so forgive typos.

  • I’ll have to wait for a demo before I decide on this one. Still, nuns with guns. Sounds sweet.

  • #5 dude your comments pretty out there man get a hobbie probally do ya some good

I just wanna say i love my vita best time consumer ever when i get stuck at some appointment i don’t wanna be at
and if this game teaches anything its that the simpsons are right you don’t wanna mess with a nun cause they have powers

  • I’m always amaze when people complain about not seeing there games out on a platform , its ridiculous ! ..Can’t please everyone .. I’m grateful that there’s Games coming to the Vita and that its targeting to all players …On that note I would love to see ‘Hidden object Games’ (Big fish games) come to the Vita , but Not [Minis] please..
    Thank you
    Laters

  • As soon as I saw this was $2.99, I was pretty sure I’d buy it.
Then I saw all the people complaining… now I’m definitely buying it just to spite those people.

I don’t know what you people consider “console-quality”, but I’ve been plenty busy on my Vita playing what I would consider console-quality games, as well as portable games on my portable game system. Yes, the Vita has been out for a year, but the lack of people buying the system and the lack of system sellers is a vicious cycle. Until more people buy a Vita, developers aren’t going to wager on it. But gamers aren’t going to buy one until there are more AAA games. Someone has to give, or the system will flounder. I mean heck, just look at the Wii U-exclusive Rayman game. The adoption rate for the Wii U has been so horrible that Ubisoft delayed the game to release it on current systems as well. The same thing is going to happen to the Vita if more people don’t take the dive and purchase it first.
Hopefully once the PS4 releases, more people will buy them for the compatibility with the new console. Maybe after that, we’ll get a more steady stream of Vita-only titles. Until then, don’t expect more than the half-dozen to a dozen or so that we’ve been getting.

  • how awseome!

  • awesome, I mean :)

  • $2.99…

    I’m in

  • Vita, who cares.

  • @65: You do, for clicking on the article, scrolling down and making a useless comment.

    :3

  • Will you, please, update this with multiplayer? Concept is great. Obviously too great to play alone.

  • “We’ve upgraded the graphics a notch, and entirely redesigned the difficulty of the levels since we’ve removed all of the micro-transaction mechanics.”

    THANK YOU.

The Nun theme really isn’t my thing, but this statement alone guarantees you my $3. I am so against the micro-transaction stuff right now that I’ll take a leap of faith (no pun intended) that I’ll get past that and enjoy the mechanics underneath.

  • any chance for analog controls and multiplayer to be added with an future update? :D
