This all-new pack will allow you to use your PS Vita as a controller on LittleBigPlanet 2 and play the game in a new and exciting way. What is a Worm Hole?
The Worm Hole is Sackboy’s brilliant new teleportation tool that will enable him to travel safely from one Worm Hole to another within the same level without fear of losing a life.
This handy new tool will even allow Sackboy to teleport from your PS3 to your PS Vita and vice-versa, should you want him to return home. The most intuitive and creative level designers will even be able to use the tool to remove Sackboy from gameplay and effectively lock him in a state of stasis whilst action is taking place elsewhere in the level…However we’ll leave it up to you and Sackboy to discover just what potential his new Worm Hole discovery holds for LittleBigPlanet and the rest of the Omniverse!

I hope this allows player 1 to have their own screen so we can finally play 2 player versus levels with seperate screens.
Can’t play lots of great levels with my girlfriend because most versus levels require that you have your own screen.

The waiting is the hardest part. Being on the East coast they might as well just wait till Wednesday to update the store. Maybe someday in the future they can have the updates a little sooner in the day. Get everything ready the day before that way they can just pop the switch so to speak and make us all happier, or even put in a countdown timer till the update posts.
Now I wish I had a Playstation Vita D: Regardless, this DLC looks like the most promising one yet!
I agree, I wish the store updated at like mid-day. That way when everyone gets home from work/school they can download new addons, etc…And not waste any time!

Is anyone else having trouble with this. Im having trouble getting it to work.
I am having trouble as well.. I go into the Cross Controller option in LBP2, and then follow the instructions to connect on my Vita..the Vita just sits there and doesnt find anything. Obviously they are connected to the same network, and the Vita is even paired with the PS3 (not relevant just letting you know). I am disappointed with this experience so far.

Try to restart the game on the ps3 completely. Worked for me but know Im waiting for more downloading on the vita.

I’m rebooting Vita and PS3 fully. How long did it take for it to recognize your Vita? It’s still not finding anything. On the Vita, I see the WiFi connection at top, and there is a spinning circle right next to it that just keeps spinning. I’ve verified all requirements are installed, all firmware is up to date.
weird it worked for me just played the first level. i had the same problem at first but then I restarted the ps3 game and it connected right away. Wish I could help out more.
8PM East coast and Cross-controller is still not working for me, either. I have payed for the content and installed it on my PS3. I click on the Cross-Controller option in the pod and follow on-screen instructions. I have rebooted PS3 and Vita numerous times, left the Vita for a few minutes to see if it would ever make a connection and it never does. I’m not sure what the problem is, but from what I’m seeing across the internet, this feature is not working, nor are there any explanations as to why that is.
Having issues here as well. Please don’t leave us hanging!

Same problems here. I even unpaired my Vita from the Remote Play section totally, added it again, and Remote Play works perfectly, so I know I am making a proper network connection. Just stuck at step 1 of 3.

During the transfer of the Cross Controller connection goes down please fix the problem :-( or return the money.
is there the option to activate remote play under system settings on both PS3 & Vita ? I have mine downloaded, but haven’t installed yet b/c I have other things downloading still ….Dokuro on the Vita is 50% off …. so grabbed that as well, was a nice surprise. hope my cross controller bundle works easily …

I started having problems as well, all I can say is be patient. I restarted both systems, the game, and my internet, and the first time it actually connected it took a couple of minutes (then disconnected me when the download started) after a couple more tries the download seems to be moving smoothly.
I just urge everyone to be patient and keep trying, and it should eventually work.
hopefully sony will be able to allow this kind of connection through USB in the next update. I feel like that would be much less prone to connection issues.
Looks like I am having the same problem as others, when I try to copy pack to vita it doesn’t work. I’ve tried restarting both devices and nothing.

I also noticed that when I was playing the regular controller has to be connected the whole time you play with the vita. so if you have it set to automatically turn off it stops and asks you to connect your controller.

We are having same problem. Remote works, cross platform just sits there trying to connect on the blue screen at step 1
For the people that did get it work, Does it work if your PS3 is connected WIRED?

@80 tried it with plugging the Vita in the PS3, still nothing. I can’t believe it’s not working, so many people have been waiting for this.
Almost had it working twice but can’t get past the downloading part.
What are you doing any differently each time you try TXCScorpion? Just sitting there waiting for it to connect and its random??
Downloaded all the packs on both systems. Restarted everything. Waiting for connection on vita cross controller then clicked LBP2 cross controller. It instantly found the Vita but fails while “downloading”. Also if I try again after canceling it no longer finds the vita without LBP2 reboot.

Got the pack earlier. Beat it and I loved it! Its tons of fun to play with and includes more than what we were told. 4 Main levels,3 cut scenes,3 bonus levels (I think) Tons of new game changing items and A NEW MOON AND EARTH! Its like a whole new game! There’s even a separate community for it so no Cross-Controller can mix in with your vita levels. Plus the game is a separate app. (YOU DON’T NEED TO KEEP CROSS-CONTROLLER OPEN ON REMOTE PLAY! YOU CAN LEAVE IT AND IT KEEPS DOWNLOADING BECAUSE ITS A SEPARATE APP!)
You guys did a great job and you can tell a lot of effort has been put into this piece of art. 9.5/10!

I expected a nice little bit of DLC to enhance LBP2 and ended up amlost getting a whole new game with this one. Nice job, WAY more than I expected.
I hope this gets put into other games with this kind of quality. You guys are leading the way.

@94 I have a launch PS3, 60 GB model. Everything fully updated, never messed with it at all. Wired network connection.
I just want to make sure I’m not missing a step…I downloaded add on to ps3 and connected my vita to the ps3 and using content manager I’m trying to copy add on to vita…did I miss something because it won’t even copy the add on to my vita
@95 same here, got the 60 gb model. I don’t see why that’d make a difference though.
@96 pretty sure the Vita file was just the costume pack, went into LBPV and checked out the costumes, but its not working for me so i don’t really know :(
Got an update…or did the update.
I’m now downloading the cross controller file coming in at 468mb (forealsies??). Did the vita update started LBP2 back up with vita waiting on cross controller connect screen, clicked cross controller on LBP2, found vita then waited a few seconds and started downloading. Now I play the waiting game on this end. For reference I use old slim ps3.
@98 The Vita file included with the pack is just for the five costumes. I downloaded those from the PSN store on my Vita.
@ I have a slim model and it still won’t work for me.
