  • @91 I would like to know that but, that may not be up to Sony right now

  • @74 episode 2 isn’t out till June so maybe next week

  • @84 Under Siege for $4.99, sold! Agreed, for that price, this game deserves a shot.

@ Everyone regarding Pure Chess, $7.99 for *each* version does seem high (everyone has their own internal price points for items) and then having Day One DLC on top of that is over-the-top for me. And that isn’t even where you buy the DLC once, and get it for both. Absolutely ZERO incentive to buy both copies given those prices.

  • Kind of an OK update. i like the fact Gravity Rush finally got a demo, granted i dont see why it took so long when some Gamestop (sadly none in my area) had the demo since the launch of the Vita. Resistance is another demo ill probably download. Ill probably download the NicoNico app. seems interesting, but i dont know.

All in all its an ok update. would be better if say we got more psp titles during this time, or maybe some information on when PS1 support will be open. Its just too fishy that we still have zero information about it except the bogus “Soon”. It does seem like its going to be released at E3 and if thats the case that pretty damn sad. Unless we were told beforehand, i dislike the fact they withhold content that is full and ready because of some gaming convention. Yes people want Ps1 support, but its nothing big that it needs to be held till E3.

All in all good update, but could be doing a lot better.

  • bloodyNASsassin

I tried to buy some things from the ThatGameCompany sale last week, but it wouldn’t let me add funds to my wallet. And now I’ve missed the sale because of this. Is there any way you guys can fix that for me? I feel robbed.

  • Time for my Vita To SHINE!!!!

  • It’s good to see these PS3 Ultimate Deals are 50% off for PS Plus subscribers.

I’d like to see these 2 games added to PS3 Ultimate Deals:
    a) Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition,
    b) Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition.

  • @90 best buy been killing on good deals got Assassin’s Creed Revelations which has AC1 for $15 and darkness 2 limit edition for 11.99 today =)

  • @96 late update? you must be joking the store update before 5 est/2pm pst

  • Sony needs to fire the idiot in charge of pricing already. Is it really that difficult to check what other retailers are charging for games, or does Sony just not care and would rather screw over their loyal customers? First of all, we were promised a discount on all first-party digital Vita games, yet Resistance is full price. Didn’t take long for Sony to renege on that promise. Next we have Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. I can go to any retailer right now and buy it for $40 or less for a brand new copy. The same thing goes for the majority of full games on PSN. Digital games should be cheaper than retail, not 25%-50% more. Sony’s vendetta against Gamestop would be much better served by making customers happy, rather than giving us the finger around every corner.

Free piece of advice: We cannot sell or buy used copies of digital games. Perhaps you should make it more enticing to buy digital.

  • Where’s The Walking Dead the game episode 2? it’s been a month already….

  • If people really wanted Rayman Origins, they would buy it and not moan about it. Better yet, get off your butts and go look for it in a store somewhere, or maybe it’s to hard to walk and complain at the same time for some folks.

  • ScorchedAngel212

Am I the only one who is not seeing Red Dead Redemption Ultimate in the store? I mean, I played the Full Game Trial of RDR, but I also did with Infamous 2 and that’s showing up.

  • @107 Walking Dead Episode 2 comes out in June

  • How about some PS2 Classics?

I wouldn’t mind seeing Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2

  • GREAT week to be a Vita owner, Im running outta space on my memory card now :)

ALSO, I would like to request Rock and Roll Racing for a PS1 classic…if you havnt considered it please do.

Rock and Roll Racing…look it up…its awesome.

  • @99,

To be fair, this whole, buy once get two concept is a new one, so I will say it’s been a pleasant surprise these days that I shouldn’t come to expect.
That being said, it would be nice if at least the DLC worked on both. I think it’s odd that it’s day 1 DLC, but it might not have been the case when this game was released in Europe earlier.

  • @ Sergheiev

The second episode it scheduled for June. I know i kinda dont understand why they stated a monthly release when they did nothing for May. hopefully we dont have to wait till August for Episode 3.

Also i dont get why people are hating on other for a simple mistake. Seeing as how nowhere was it stated that the price would be raise on the Rayman deal its kind of obvious some people will be upset, and they have every right to express how they feel. How would you feel if a game you may want was having a sale then flat out changed without warning? I’d be upset too.

  • No new PS one Classics :(
    Oh well maybe next week.

    Valkyrie Profile
    Koudelka
    Fear Effect
    Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix

There the games i want to see, any info regarding those would be much appreciated.

  • Great update… just bought Just Cause 2 Ultimate (and got mad for inFAMOUS 2 and MK Ultimate being waaaaaayyyy cheaper than my hero/kollector edition T_T) anyway, these Ultimate Bundles were a great idea! I just want to see some games I’ve been waiting for a price drop (such as Prototype (bundle it with Prototype 2 and/or make a sweet discount for Plus members pretty please!) Burnout Paradise (I’m kicking myself because I’ve missed last year’s HUGE discount on this one) and some other nice titles too…
    Anyway[2] I can’t wait to see what’s coming for PS+ in June *-*

Oh, and a little suggestion: try making the digital game downloads cheaper than their physical versions (or maybe include some sweet stuff to justify the price, you know)

  • Prinny 2 should read PSP, surely?

Not a bad update for Vita owners, very glad Resistance has a demo, as I’m on the fence about it. Not paying full retail for the DLC version though, that’s absurd.

  • What happened to the 10% discount for buying digital on Vita games?

  • @ krae_man

I think it depends on the Devs, as i know there are few games that dont have the 10% discount like Uncharted.

  • Are there anymore costume DLC for Tsles of Graces f coming soon? Such as theIdol costumes for the female characters or the costumes that you have to win at the Carta Card sidequest?

  • I can’t log in to my PSN through PS3. I live in California.

  • hey.. does anyone know how much total HDD space the Ultimate InFAMOUS 2 takes up??

  • WaveLightning777

Still no Sonic avatars. Thats kinda depressing at this point.

  • L.a Noire already platinum that… Red Dead played when it launched before I owned a PS3… not really interested in Mortal Kombat…(haven’t played fighters in years)

Infamous 2 defintetly.. gonna look up some videos on this Under Siege I keep hearing about.. and check out the Dragon’s Dogma stuff to see if I should bother.

  • QUESTION: WILL THERE BE A DC COMICS or any other comics app for the VITA?, it would be really cool if there was, im getting really into the digital comics thing and with the huge screen on the psvita it would be perfect to read my comics there

  • I just wanted to say thank you for several weeks of consitantly earlier updates.

I’ve been critical in the past, so it’s only fair that I recognize the great work you’ve been doing recently, both in terms of the time of day for updates and I’ve been seeing more content I like lately as well (ps1, ps2, psn etc…)

Please continue your excellent work. Good time to have a PS3 (lots of great games lately on disc as well).

  • SOOPERGOOMAN187

That’s it for PLUS, really? You are dropping the ball on us subscribers. may has sucked completely for us and I feel we got ripped off this month. games most of us already got through plus being re-offered. not good dude. bring back the old staff.

“Dammit Sony! $23.99 for the Rayman Origins? You are doing it wrong!”

Actually, that’s a great price. I bought it for $29 on Amazon and it’s worth every penny.

  • SOOPERGOOMAN187

bring socom combined assault to the ps2 section and you will sell a million copies(dont forget the online mode of it too) cnsidering there isnt a zipper interactive anymore nor slant sux.

  • I got a $20 PSN card to buy Rayman when you guys first announced it would be available for $15.
I won’t buy it now, SMH at you SONY and UBISOFT

  • About the people that says to avoid Harley Quinn’s Revenge because Kotaku said it wasn’t worth it….

    Remember:

    Kotaku recommended Duke Nukem Forever
    Kotaku recommended Dragon Age 2
Kotaku trashed the old Goldeneye 64 in a recent article

When it comes to gaming You’re better listening to crazy hobos on the street rather than listening kotaku. Lol.

  • Resistance isn’t letting me go online -_- I did the online pass and it let’s me go through but it’s still not letting play online matches

  • Already own my Rayman origins copy from long time ago but…

The change price at the very last second in Rayman Origin will hurt a lot the sale, i believe a ton of people will avoid buying it, even at this reduced and fair price, just because they will feel cheated.

I would been a lot better if you let the people know with a lot of anticipation, doing this in the very update is too irregular.

  • any heads up on when we will get the avatars for RE:ORC? i have seen eu servers already had them for a while.

  • 1) Rayman Origins was promised at $15. This is bait and switch. Not buying it at the higher price on principle, nevermind that I already have it on my 360. For $15, I would have bought it again!

    2) Having to buy Pure Chess twice is ridiculous and unprofessional when all PSN/Vita simultaneous releases so far have included the Vita version for free. I’m not buying the same game twice, sorry. Making the Vita versions free for PSN purchasers drives Vita sales at this critical time.

  • You know, $23 isn’t bad for Rayman, but the announced $15 price was better. The $8 difference can buy an amazing game like Shatter, for example.

I was willing to pay $15 for the game because it was a great deal. Now I will wait, for some reasons: first, I don’t want to get into this situation of paying more than the originally announced price. Second, I know that Ubisoft can give us better deals (they did with some other games recently, here on PSN). And third, I still have a couple of unfinished games on the shelf (including the Ultimate JC2 deal that came out today), so I don’t really need any new games immediately. I can easily wait some months before finally buying Rayman Origins.

  • Where is Episode 2 of The Walking Dead? The episodes were supposed to be released monthly, and we have yet to see or hear when Episode 2 will make it’s appearance. There has been speculation for a release date of today (5/29), however we know that not to be true as it is nowhere to be found. It’s not like it is a piece of garbage like Back to the Future, or Sonic 4. I don’t see anything very stellar about this week in releases. The only things that are worth anything are Resistance for my precious, and again for my precious the Gravity Rush demo.

  • @129 lol yeah Kotaku isn’t a very reliable game site I usually just ignore what they recommend they have a lot of clueless people there

  • What happened to The Walking Dead Episode 2?????

  • I’m sure that having to buy twice Pure Chess in Vita and PS3 is entirely decided in the developer side. Having both systems i think i won’t buy either, to encourage developers who are more friendly with my pocket

  • 1) As a previous commenter posted: “Why is Resistance, a FIRST PARTY game, full price on the PSN? We were told there would be a discount day and date for all first party titles if purchased on the network.”
Agreed. At least, that’s what I remember hearing. Extremely disappointing and I have to say I feel as if I was fed lies.

    2) I have been meaning to purchase Just Cause 2 after hearing such good things and being included in several “PS3 Hits You (Probably) Haven’t Played” lists… I’ll be picking it up today!

    3) Rayman Origins at $15 would have been a definite buy for me. Love it on the Vita.

  • 4) Pure Chess as not a purchase-once for Vita and PS3 seems ludicrous. It is your right to do so, but c’mon… part of what makes other ecosystems (like Apple’s App Store) such a huge hit is because of the value to the consumer. I always look for apps for my iPad and iPhone that are “+” apps and designed for both iPad and iPhone and shy away from apps that require separate purchases (which is thankfully becoming less common). I understand the coding is different and there is optimization required, but most people don’t understand that. If you want to move products (games) make them flexible and let consumers consume them the way they want. I promise you, your consumers will reward you.

  • Ya know, i had purchased Rayman Origins on sale for $20 dollars some weeks ago. I then saw the June publish that said it would be $15 for Plus when it was supposed to come out so i returned the copy i bought and waited for the day it would be on PSN so i could buy it for $15. That got delayed till today and it’s not $15, so thanks but now i don’t even want it anymore.

Also when Disney Universe it PSN, it was $15 like stated so i don’t see what the problem is here.

  • No word yet on Patapon 3 transferable to the Vita?

  • WTH?! The Resistance Burning Skies demo is 2.84 gb LOL what the heck sony geezus!! there was no time to take a chunk out of the game and put it on the store seperately like uncharted GA? …. :( not cool

  • oh its not 2.84gb its 3.1gb …. thats what it says on the vita ….even worse :( i feel bad now thats like saying forget the demo just buy our game :(
