  • Also yeah.. Rayman Origins… compared to the price when it originally released it should be discounted more than to $23.99

  • One PS2 Classic suggestion: Mega Man X Collecion.

Can’t speak for anyone else, but I would buy that instantly.

  • Btw why are both dissidia final fantasy games the same price $19.99 if the second one has more content… You should lower the first one $14.99.. So people wouldn’t be mistaken ^_^ and purchase the second one

  • I was buying Rayman Origins for 15 bucks… now I’m not sure. I feel cheated…

  • Awesome Update folks !!

Just want to see the Killzone 1 soon =)

  • I thought Rayman was going to be $14.99….

  • Taylor_With_Hat

Is the game and all it’s DLC being combined into a single download (like what happened with the Hot Shots Golf Ultimate Edition a few weeks back) or does buying this give you the various seperate downloads?

  • Well, I was going to get Rayman: Origins for $15.

    Ya blew it.

  • Also will u be releasing resistance retribution psp back onto the psn anytime soon? I really wanted to purchase it…

  • @ everyone….. pretty sure you can go to a retail store like Gamestop and get Rayman: Origins a lot cheaper.

used it goes for like $18. New probably $20.

  • Suikoden II.

    Just make it happen already.

  • @JayBizzle311 – It’s downloadable for a reason, people want it downloaded to their console and for the price that was initially promised.

  • nah.. it’s still cheaper than the retail by a few dollars but still.. the principle of the point.. they already announced it for $14.99 and then at the last minute say it’s $23.99

there were deals on it a few months ago… I swear I saw it for like $15-$20 price range… maybe march??

either way.. I’ll probably be getting Infamous 2 since I don’t have that one yet.

check out the Dragon’s Dogma stuff and see if it’s worth it.

  • Who would buy a theme if you can’t even view it? What happened to previews?

  • Love the Assassin’s Creed 3 avatars and dynamic theme. Picked up a few avatars and theme plus I got Harley Quinn’s Revenge, awesome Playstation store update.

  • @TheJuggla17 I understand the principle of wanting it downloaded on your system… but if they change the price and a person wants the game they could just run out and go get it. A suggestion.. everyone is different.

    I personally don’t care… I buy New.. I pre-order.. I buy used.. I buy digital. I own Xbox. I own PSN. I just game.

  • Under Siege only 5 now ? looks like i just might give this game a chance after all.

  • Yes it was 15 dollars back in March, thats when i bought my copy. Just waiting to see what free games Ill be getting in June, c’mon PS+ do not disappoint.

  • acr is $10 at best buy if u use a $20 off coupon buy a Mag if u not a member cost $5 single issue so final price is 15 bucks fyi valid thru 6/2 and game may also contain ac1

  • I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, but I have been kind of disappointed with the pace of the PSOne, PS2 classics, and PSP additions to the PSN. I’m sure they take a long time to get green lit, ported over, debugged, and whatnot, and I know you’ve got your hands full with the vita launch, but I always find myself looking forward to the classics heavy updates the most. I don’t know if I’m the only one…

    • The flow of PS2 Classics has been pretty strong with the goal of getting one new one in there every week; but it may not always happen. But the teams are hard at work getting more of these titles ready to download.

  • The Rayman price change is an extreme bummer.

I sense a last minute money grab by Ubisoft. Seems random though since the European store saw a 50% discount on Rayman Origins months ago.

It’s simply bad marketing to advertise a price and then change at the last minute. Along with many others, I’ll pass until PSN and Ubisoft can deliver on their original price. From what I’ve seen, even $24-$29 is on the high side for a retail version of this game. I was and am looking forward to buying it, but I’m willing to hold out to demonstrate my frustration at the unreliable pricing.

  • Where is the Walking Dead Episode 2?

  • I don’t get why rayman origins needs to go on sale just to persuade people to buy it… it’s a great game with a lot of content for it’s current price.

But anyway, I’ll be checking out burning skies and the gravity rush demo tonight after work.

  • Alright so glad I’m not getting Rayman digital! I’d rather buy it physical since the price is close to it. Going to buy some of those DLC bundles because frankly they’re worth it. Also going to upgrade my HDD soon.

Don’t get Harley Quinn’s Revenge though. Kotaku said it wasn’t worth it.

I’m thinking maybe Just Cause 2 and maybe Mafia II since Mafia II’s DLC is expensive and you can get the game alone for $20 so $15 is kind of a steal. I was thinking RDR but I was also thinking about buying it physical. If I upgrade my HDD I will be buying more digital if these deals start happening more often. It’s beggining to look a lot like Christmas…. and Steam! Keep up these deals and I’ll renew my subscription. I mean I have a huge backlog anyways….

  • BigeBigz_IS_Back

    Where’s my Walking Dead Episode 2? I didn’t get ripped off $20 did I?

  • Sweet, I’ve been waiting for those Mafia II DLCs to get a nice discount. I only wanted two which were $9.99 each, but at $15.00 for all of them, what a deal! Even if I already own the game (I just won’t download that one).

  • @JEC94 I saw and article the other day that said it will be coming June… I was wondering myself… because they said every month a new episode…

but it released like LATE April… so I think they consider May as the first month, so I guess that’s why the 2nd episode is coming in June..

that’s what I read anyway… I have the season pass. I’m ready to play some more.

  • 7.99 for a chess game?!?! Then you have the nerve to try to charge 1.99 for a new location/chess set?!?!

What’s next? Extreme Dominos? Super Challenge Tick Tack Toe?

I’ll pick it up if and when it goes on sale for three or four bucks…and then that’s really still only a maybe…

  • @69

This. The list of ‘coming soon’ psp games was disappointing to say the least and it seems like we’re only going to see 6 or 7 of them every 2 or so months. I can understand that this stuff takes work but that pacing is pretty underwhelming considering japan already has over 90% compatibility.

  • So you have to buy the Chess game twice if you have a PS3 and Vita?

  • Look, it’s been ridiculous for years that digital pricing on PSN isn’t cheaper than retail (there’s less overhead cost, no material cost for the Blu-Ray and case, not to mention the fact that you can’t sell a digital copy used so there’s no risk to the devs/publishers that the game will be re-sold stealing future sales) and it was bad enough that EA and some others decided to money-grab on digital Vita titles after Sony promised that digital discounts “make sense”, but to have a SONY-PUBLISHED Vita game come out at $39.99 for the digital copy is just asinine. I paid the absurd markup for a 32GB memory card because I understood that I’d be getting discounted games to put on it and everything would even out in the end…that was what Sony published on this blog and in interviews with magazines and websites.

Sony, you and your publishers/developers need to get your acts together and do it fast. The people buying your software aren’t stupid, and the first company to realize that will reap the rewards of the market…and I sure hope it’s Sony…

  • Although these ultimate editions and the released digital PSN games version are tempting, the prices are what seem to be a turning me away from purchasing any of them. I am so sorry.

  • FURIOUS that Rayman Origins isn’t 15 dollars for PS+ as well as I could’ve bought it on Steam a week or so ago for 15 dollars.

  • @25 it just came out today maybe they will be a price drop in the future but, for now it’s $40

  • I’m confused: weren’t Vita games supposed to be cheaper to download than to purchase physically? Like 10% cheaper (http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/ps-vita-digital-games-will-cost-less-than-retail-versions-confirms-sony-01-02-2012/)? Why have all the new releases been just as expensive to download as to purchase at retail? Did I miss a press release announcing this model was being abandoned?

I’m not saying I’m less incentivized to purchase Vita games digitally; on the contrary, I’d prefer to have the physical game cards (though much of that reasoning has to do with the size of my current memory card and the prohibitive cost of a new one). I absolutely adore my Vita and my PS3 and will happily continue to support the company so long as the games being released maintain or exceed the level of quality I have come to associate with the PlayStation brand. I just know Sony’s had a tough couple of years and I’d hate to see the company squander any goodwill or cause undue injury to the Vita because of disrespect for its loyal customers or a lack of transparency regarding information consumers would find important.

  • @kilburni86 Agreed.

  • @79 Ha, perfect timing. Glad I’m not alone here.

  • EVERYONE, GET UNDER SIEGE! It’s a great game, and a fun use of the Move.

Morgan, I’ve seen this asked before, but in a future Vita update, can we get the option to shift screens around on the interface, rather than just individual apps? Say I want my screen of social network apps at the bottom, and currently my screen of minis is there. I’d like to just shift it down, rather than moving them over one at a time.

  • Terrible PS+ Update, but hopefully something good will come along soon. I have a few questions, though, and although I know I will not get an answer (I never get official replies here), I have to try anyway:

    1. For Black Ops, does that include ALL map packs? The game was fun, and I wouldn’t mind picking it up again, but don’t wanna have to buy all the map packs for it.

    2. Any chance we’ll start seeing more themes and avatars? There used to be a ton, and many were game-related, which was awesome. But, lately, it is all “generic” stuff that has nothing to do with PS3 games (aside from today’s Rayman avatars).

  • @59 it’s 30 dollars new on amazon and 21.49 is the cheapest you can get used there

  • I hate to say it but there a lot of those who complain about the simple things in life, yes there was a difference in price for rayman but stuff happens and just get over it. If you hate the price then goto your local game stop or amazon and get it there. Considering there a lot of games out there which have been around a lot longer and can be hard to find or brand new ones which are more expensive. I think most people on here need to pick there battles and stop whining about trivial things, think about what Sony is offering and be grateful hell it could be a whole lot worse. I’m sure if those out there who sit there complaining about things like the prices of digital games are those who complain about everything that doesn’t go there way.

  • Well that’s it. I am done buying DLC!!!! Between GOTY editions that come out 7 months after the original release and now special bundles with all the DLC here on the PSN, I am NEVER buying DLC again. Thanks for screwing us. I wish I could of bought Mortal Kombat at a discount. But after buying all the Mortal Kombat DLC a month ago, I don’t want to pay for the same DLC twice. Thanks to who ever thinks of this stuff.

    • The Ultimate Editions are for those who haven’t had the chance to pick up the full game originally. So not only do they get the full game, but they get all the great DLC too. It’s not so much an offer for those who picked up the game at release and got to experience all the fun Add-Ons right when they drop.

  • wait I’m checking the store right now and…. why is the Starhawk beta hand of the founder availible? Thanks for keeping those exclusive? I don’t even own the game and I earned it…

  • I like how the special PS Plus price for Rayman Origins is $24, when the REGULAR price at Best Buy is 20 bucks. Must be reflective of game publishers’ utter contempt for their customers. While they save margin by cutting out the retail channel, they still want to gouge us FURTHER!

Also, is the Vita version of Rayman Origins going to get a price cut? Because it’s absurd that it’s selling for $10-$20 more than its PS3 counterpart.

  • Please add HBO GO.

  • If you guys are updating Fate Unlimited Code’s price, does that mean there is hope that PSP title will be made compatible with Vita? I love playing fighting games on my Vita and absolutely loved Unlimited Codes–would be awesome to play again!

  • Walking dead episode 2????

  • Can we get an update to the one Vita game available on all systems, Welcome Park? I’d like to see in-game challenges that can also be sent out to friends via PSN messages, like MotorStorm RC. There’s some fun mini games available in Welcome Park that would be fun to compete with against friends. Also, a leaderboard!

Also, how about we get Frobisher Says in the US?

  • @93

    Walking Dead… Episode 2… JUNE

  • Another late update I really wish we could have a set time in these updates on Tuesdays. Nothing again in plus for me this week. I really hope we can somehow bring some new features to plus to wow me. As of now I am not sure if i want to renew. Yes it has gotten better than 1 year ago when I started but still it seems to be hit and miss each month. Some things are interesting while others are not so great. Hopefully at E3 we can make progress to make me consider to sign up for another year.
