  • I plan to grab Doctor Who later today, been waiting a while for that one. I notice though it’s listed under PSN games, then below though are PS3 specific games so does anyone know, is it transferrable between PS3 and Vita if I want to take it on the go?

  • + iTofuMan on May 22nd, 2012 at 2:32 pm said:
Doctor Who bought, currently downloading. cant wait to play. Other than that nothing else for me this update.

Give us an update on the game, there are no reviews I can find on it.

  • When is Rayman Origins gonna make its way to ps3 (psn)???

  • WaveLightning777

We’re not gonna get those Sonic avatars, are we? :(

  • Can somebody explain HOW Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition is 18GB?

18GB !!? LMAO that’s almost LA Noire territory.

  • Has anyone bought Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain and can confirm that you can still play online with the PSN version?

  • Wasnt Doctor who Supposed to be on Vita too?

  • @26 are you blind? table to tanks is something, what do you expect every week some sort of call of duty, resistance burning skies is coming next week relax seriously you guys act like children who cannot appreciate what you have at the moment.
But I know nobody will care what I say so I am just talking to myself.

  • CrusaderForever

Just bought Sorcery off the PSN! Cannot wait to play this game. I am going to control Finn and my son is going to do the spells. Should be a lot of fun! Just need my download to pick up speed. Thanks Sony!

  • CrusaderForever

    @105
Dr Who Vita has been delayed for a month.

  • @108
Thanks for the reply.. i guess im not going to support the Vita version then, they lost my support.. PS3 version here we go!

  • @BloodWolfe29

Doctor Who isn’t transferable between the PS3 and Vita. The Vita version is coming later. I heard it might be as soon as next week.

  • Supposedly the Doctor Who Vita version won’t be out till June 12th!

  • The support for Vita is really getting annoying.. after Uncharted there is nothing else to play and how come PSP games arent on discount yet? reduce some PSP games down to $10
I was excited to get Doctor Who Vita today but i should have known it wouldnt be out alongside the PS3 version *sigh*

  • I’ll definately be trying out dagger dale, anyone know if modnation racers is any good? Seems worth checking out for 15$

  • Does anyone know when wwe allstars and SVR 201 psp0 will be available for vita??

  • @90, thanks for the advice. Very kind of all of you to help me out.

  • Hi Morgan, I didn’t see Patapon 3 on the list of PSP games coming to Vita. Any word on that? Would like not to have my PSP on standby for that one game. BTW, you look just like my boss.

  • Awwww yeah~!!!! Guess who’s awesome! I waited all year long for a sale on Flower and Flow! Was hoping it was in Spring but that wasn’t the case. This is the highlight of this update yay!

  • Why exactly would I pay $30 for SSF Arcade when I can get it new at Gamestop for $20?

  • Will we ever get the sonic 4 avatars

  • @110 and 111

    Thanks for the info.

  • Modnation Racers DLC sale!!! Awesome!!! Can we request some PSone and PS2 games? Here some of my favorite games I would like to see at the PS store: 1.Gex:enter the gecko 2.Ridge Racer 3.Tomb Raider chronicles 4.Namco Museum vol.1-5(including import Encore) That will be really awesome thanks ;)

  • So, two questions.

1.) When is the promised Wipeout 2048 DLC going to be talked about again?
2.) When is there going to be a mention of Vita + PS+?

Otherwise WOW on the game sizes for full games. I’m surprised you guys put those up there. I’m scare to see Uncharted 2 up there…. is it compressed?

  • Oh, and have you guys noticed that the PS+ area never updates properly. There’s consistently free avatars and misc stuff missing. You can manually find it… but not there.

  • @106 – I care.. and I couldnt agree more :) resistance next week and gravity rush in 2 weeks!!

  • Still waiting for PS2 Classic: Black.

  • Another week, another drip of AR crap for Vita rather than a game people actually want to buy. Sony couldn’t even be bothered to have the demo for Resistance: Burning Skies out this week to get us ready for next week’s release. I get the feeling it’ll come out next week, which will be rather pointless since anyone who cares will already have the full game. I’m sure the already-done-and-in-store-demo-units Gravity Rush demo won’t hit PSN any time before THAT game’s release, either. Thanks for nothing, Sony.

  • I second what poster #23 said. Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed for PSOne classic! Oh and whats up with “Absolute Supercars”? We had trailers for that game last year i think but nothing else since then…

  • Wheres the walking dead episode 2??

  • PJM deluxe now works on the vita. Big deal. A week late with no explanation of why sony sucks so bad at communication and delivering products as advertised.

I love looking at my vita download list and seeing recent highly rated minis such as Velocity and Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims listed as Cannot download using a psvita system. Wonder why titles such as velocity don’t work on US vitas. The developers are also wondering.

“Velocity is currently not approved to run on Vita in the US.

Which is a shame, because it actually plays the best on Vita; and we know this because it runs fine for people over here in Europe.

SCEA (PlayStation USA) are having issues getting a bunch of PSP games approved for Vita, and Velocity is unfortunately one of those.

We’re on the priority list apparently, but we don’t have an ETA. We’ll post back when it’s sorted. You’ll be able to play on PSP and PS3 in the meantime.”

The sony circus continues with the clowns apparently in charge.

  • any chance of spiderman 2 coming to ps2 classics? or maybe a new hd version? i know there’s an amazing spidey coming, but the ps2 title just hit the right spots.

  • Well I ended up buying MNR again since it’s $15 plus I bought all the DLC that was on sale. $61 for a crap load of content. I just wish the karts were all on sale too. Now time to go play some GRFS.

  • Why isn’t Velocity playable on Vita? Can’t understand how Sony can manage to screw everything up. Perhaps it’s time a few people in management are replaced with someone competent.

  • Are those PS2 classics still playable online? And why the heck you guys put the PS1 version of Alone in the dark and not the PS2 version?

  • What happened to the Rayman Origins discount? Did I miss it?

Also, any updates on Zen Pinball 2 and the Pinball Arcade DLC?

  • Since it’s on sale, you can download Flow for PSP on your PS3 and transfer it to your Vita via Content Manager and it works! :D

  • I wonder who decided not to bundle the PS3 releases of the Sega Classics–Sega or Playstation, despite being grouped together at a “buy 2 get 1 free” price on the competitor’s console.

This leaves me very torn as to which console to purchase them on, since I usually prefer to get new games on my PS3, but it’s not often that the “other box” console offers more bang for the buck… If I understand this thread correctly, they’re all seperate games.

    :\

  • Aren’t you guys getting tired of promising Plus users UbiSoft games and not delivering?

  • @49…Way to go on complaining when you didn’t even check first….

  • For the people asking about the Doctor Who game, having played it since this morning i can say as a fan of the series I’m pretty happy. Its a fun, enjoyable puzzle game with a unique story. although ill be the first to admit it does has its fault. Like bugs and glitches i have encounter with the game i assume will be fixed with patches/updates. Nothing too game breaking though. you might have to restart your ps3 (like i did) but it was only once. Or sometimes your AI companion (River Song) might not spawn thus being unable to finish the level. All in all though its a great game and if you are a fan of the Doctor Who series its well worth it. Its only 19.99 and well worth that price.

  • @#38
Thanks for the heads-up! I’m posting from my Vita here. :D

Does anybody know if Flow for PSP transfers to Vita?

Answer: Yes it does via PS3. :)

  • @Massimodo That quote from the developers of Velocity is very telling. SCEA is clearly purposely withholding certain games without reason. “Currently not approved to run on Vita in the US” is absolutely ridiculous. If I’m not mistaken they are just trying to get people to buy other things instead of giving them all the free games they already own at once. Truly outrageous.

  • @ 142

If i remember correctly on their facebook or twitter page the people for Velocity was told that there content would be up next week so that Sony can have more games in next week update.

  • @itofuman
That’s good to know, but it also reinforces my point — that they are picking and choosing when to release old games we already own and are already compatible because it suits them. That is kind of frustrating.

  • More PSP games!

  • @142, well, to be fair, these mini(s) do work on the PSP/PS3- it’s not like a product was purchased & the content failed to work across the board. Secondly, “purposely holding w/out reason” makes very little business sense. Yet, as we try to understand why from a consumer stand point & from what outside information we’ve gathered, there IS a reason that all of us here DON’T want to believe- that doing these conversions/ports whatever you want to call them, isn’t easy. Furthermore, Sony probably doesn’t have enough people to tend to it. These file containers are a pain to convert; a lesser example would be trying to play a Window’s video file in Apple’s OS.

Why does Velocity work in Europe & not here? These are seperate territories that often do not share the same content releases. Look at the Euro blog, our seaside brother/sisters have spoken that they want what we have & us, vice versa.

I don’t see any conspiracies, just incompetence. Any psp mini being released should work on the vita, no questions asked. This needs to become standard. I would start dropping the psp support on minis and have developers start taking advantage of psvita hardware. The vita is the future for sony handhelds, not the psp, its time to let that system die and move forward.

  • Itofuman, thanks for the impressions of Dr. Who. I’m pissed the vita version is three weeks away as that is what I’ll be playing it on.
