  • Nothing free in Plus this week that is disappointing. I might try out the demo for Journey I just don’t want to end up liking the game and buying it and than soon we get it free through plus.

  • I’ll be picking up Table Top Tanks, and looking forward to Pure Chess next week!

Let’s get some avatars for Sorcery and Resistance: Burning Skies. Easy way to promote from within.

Can someone tell the people that make Tactics Ogre that I’d really like a new game for the Vita? I’m guessing I’m not alone in this.

  • Does the online still work for Syphon Filter The Omega Strain? I would hate to buy it and not be able to go online :(

  • I wish you guys could release Fatal Frame trilogy (1, 2, 3 for PS2) with HD graphics, like God of War Collection or Prince of Persia Trilogy. It is a fine game that deserves to be playied again.

  • You just had to do a Flow/Flower sale when I didn’t have much money. Well….I think I have enough for Flow. At least you guys gave me what I wanted. Just not at the right time :'(

  • @49 peladeiyon – Errr… you DO know “Legend of Dragoon” came out weeks ago, yes?

/not sure if sarcastic or misinformed

  • Unfortunately , nothing striking .

  • I really, REALLY, wish Sony would make trophies from the Full Game Trials optional for players. There are so many trials I would love to try, but I don’t want a handful of easy trophies tied to my trophies list forever if I decide I don’t want the trial. I’ve been a PS+ subscriber for nearly two years now and I’ve avoided trials this whole time. If I hadn’t, I’d probably have my list filled with an extra 20 or 30 games I have no interest in ever buying or playing again.

I’d settle for just being able to playing the trial on a different profile, but I can’t even do that. Let us delete them or choose to block them from unlocking or something. I don’t want to try something only to have it permanently attached to my trophy list. It defeats the whole point of a trial.

  • Wow was so hoping a week later you would fix the price for Prototype 2 and make it 40 like all disk ones are, why would anyone pay 60 to download it with radnet when they can get the same thing w/radnet for only 40 but on disk?

Do you guys have any plans to fix the price? if not looks like I have to get the game from Gamestop or Best Buy, or Amazon

  • Went home @ lunchtime & found store already updated. Am downloading Sorcery now, yay!

  • Nothing interesting!

  • Really hoping that PS+ gets those Master System games for free sometime in the future.

  • wow holy **** omega strain?!? was hoping for a reboot of the franchise on consoles but i’ll take that any day of the week!

my most favorite update in a long *** time guys!

  • The one day I hoped there wouldn’t be an early update because I just got back to my PS3 after 3 weeks and was wanting to purchase some games that were on sale, but you went ahead and did it anyways. Thanks for disappointing me.

  • Taylor_With_Hat

Why are PSN users getting ripped off on the pricing for for the new Sega releases? I want all six, but I have to pay $30 total for them off PSN, while they’re being offered on XBLA tomorrow as two bundles for 800 points ($10) each or about $20 total.

  • Thanks for adding the missing MNR sale items!

  • One question. Wheres Rainbow Moooooooooooooooooooon?

  • Does anybody know if Flow for PSP transfers to Vita?

  • Oh yes, this has been a good time, these past couple weeks (though not for my wallet).

Last week we had that PixelJunk sale, so I grabbed all the $1 titles (and the only PSP title, to round things out…and because PJ Monsters Encore wasn’t on sale, too). On top of that, the Ubisoft sale saw me repurchasing my recently (and unintentionally) refunded Assassin’s Creed II and add-ons (apparently double-dipping on Segment 13), and splurging on Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and add-on/s (too bad it doesn’t come with all the ancillary goodies, like the PC’s Digital Deluxe does).

And now this thatgamecompany sale. Snapped Journey up when it premiered (and had quite an experience on a whim after a night at work), and had previously played flOw (from my friend) and through Flower (from my sister), so it’s nice to have them on my account at last (along with, again, the singular PSP title). With the Flower soundtrack and all this, all that’s left are a gaggle of Flower avatars and the flOw soundtrack.

Otherwise, cool to see some old Sega titles up. The Monster World games call to me… Unfortunately, ModNation Racers doesn’t, but that’s ’cause I have the disc version from my first PS3, back on Black Friday 2010.

  • @57, I wish there was the option to delete a game off of our trophy list. But I understand what you mean. Still years ago there were no trails, I guess it’s better than nothing.

  • Some minis on Ps3 store that say they work on Vita don’t.
    Space shooter for 2 bucks
    rumble trucks
    i must run
    2d adventures of…octopus
    guerilla war
    Maybe more
    WTF

  • Isn’t Doctor Who supposed be on Vita as well? I don’t see it in the Vita store only the PS3 one.

  • Why do minis that were released after vita launch not work on vita

  • @68, I don’t see Flow listed at the store. I think this means that it’s not yet working on the Vita.

  • @58 – They’re not tied to your account, only your profile on the system itself. I’ve recently set up another PS3 for myself, and of the two games I had trophies from their Full Game Trials, I popped in a disc of Borderlands to have it show on my PSN ID, and the ones from God of War: Chains of Olympus are nowhere to be found (still have my profile on the other PS3, just so I can get them bound eventually).

Long & short: Only you’re seeingthem, and only on the machine you played the Full Game Trial/s on.

  • Flow for Psp works if you download with ps3 then transfer to vita

  • @73, the platform is different. I wish we can just take the file & drop it into any device (ipod, ipad, andriod, vita, etc.) & it’ll run. The answer is it’s the difficulty in the coding & the conversion process for PSP/mini/PS 1 titles to the Vita.

  • besides the wonderboy games this is a poor update

  • @76, ah cool, thanks for the correction!

  • Excellent update;) More PS2 Classics PLEASE, & FASTER to! :D

  • I don’t think that is true. The vita has a psp emulator built in. I doubt that they are recoding anything, perhaps waiting for liscensing. Why do smome games work (like flow) by downloading to ps3 then transferring?

  • Alex Kidd on PS3 and PixelJunk Monsters on VITA. What’s old is new again… and is still awesome.

  • Well, a couple more PSP games a half-dozen minis, there go a couple gigs of space on my Vita!

Hey, maybe instead of Tactics Ogre, we get a Vita sequel to Field Commander?

  • @82, I really hope it’s that simple. Or maybe the emulator has issues? How can so many 1st party titles be missing? That doesn’t make sense as Sony has complete control over its IPs. It’s a new platform, it’s likely the porting process is awfully time-consuming.

  • My PS VITA3g is great.. but damn It needs some more games.. UNDER $15each!!!!

I want a bigger memory stick but until you guys pump out more games why bother getting a $100 stick?

Also, my local stores only have 2 vita game cartridges… How about sending walmart Store #435 MORE GAMES.. I don’t want to rely solely on Amazon..

  • @49 (peladeiyon)

The Legend of Dragoon was aready released a few weeks ago on May 1, so stop waiting and go buy it RIGHT NOW! lol

  • Ok, so I tried to get in some time on Table Top Tanks during my lunch break at work today. After a system update (which was probably my bad, I should have done that sooner), and a title update (on launch day for a digital title… really?), I was forced to sit through an un-skippable opening movie.
Please Sony, in the future, DON’T put un-skippable opening movies on Vita titles. Portable systems usually mean people have a restricted amount of time to play with, and having to sit there, not playing while I watch this little movie takes up valuable gaming-time. I even checked to see if maybe I could skip it the second time I launched the game, to no avail. So now every time I launch Table Top Tanks, I’ll have to sit through that. Again and again. Great.
I managed to get in 5 minutes of actually playing the game, out of the 40 minutes I originally had to play with. That’s a very bad ratio.

  • has anybody had a mini or psp game downloaded to their ps3 before it was “compatible” with vita and then transferred it over once it was officially compatible. There has not been a firmware update since a lot of games have become compatible. That would tell you that there has been no recoding and make me wonder why they are not releasing games.

  • Thanks @74 & 76. When I get back home I’m going to buy Flow & support the greatest indie genius, Jenova & crew. And probably throw my back out plaing Sorcery, lol.

  • @lisatsunami

If your Vita gives you an Error code when transferring just restart the Vita. That’s what mine did and a restart fixed it immediately.

I’m wondering why Sega, who is in need of money, didn’t take advantage of putting their older classics on the Vita. They will be losing money from customers like me, who don’t buy because I would rather play an older classic on my beautiful handheld.

  • @32 You’ve had all week to take advantage of the Ubisoft sale.

Pretty quiet week for me. Great to see a tgc sale but I already own everything those guys have ever released.

Keep those PS2 Classics coming. How about PS+ discounts for the PS2 games?

  • add crash bash as one of psone classics, and crash twinsanity as one of the ps2 classics please.

  • Doctor Who bought, currently downloading. cant wait to play. Other than that nothing else for me this update.

  • SYTHER_SYNTHESIS

very meager update. only thing that strikes my intrest this week is of course Need for Speed Most Wanted ive been dying to see those released as ps2 classics, now we just need the REsident Evil outbreak series, and the battlefront Series. Noting good on plus this week disappointing..i wouldnyt mind hot persuit or bordrelands as a free game in the future for ps plus.any word on DUST 514 on the playstation side? i refgistered for the Closed Beta

  • SYTHER_SYNTHESIS

any word on Dust 514? meager update only thing good is NFSMW

  • While I have zero interest in Sorcery, I hope Sony continues to have the new releases on PSN same day as the retail stores. I rather purchase the digital copy on PSN.

  • A weak update in my view, especially for the Plus side of things, oh well, more money to spend on other things.

  • has anyone tried table top tanks

  • @96,
Look at all the free stuff given to Plus users in the past month! Surely, you can’t expect free stuff every week.

I say let’s discount “A Space Shooter for Two Bucks” when it’s available on the Vita, considering it’s “A Space Shooter for Free” on Google Chrome. Great game, by the way.
