More classic Resident Evil horror is heading to the PlayStation Network next week with Resident Evil: Code Veronica X HD! Claire Redfield, after narrowly escaping Raccoon City, is searching for her brother Chris. Captured while sneaking around an Umbrella facility and snooping for leads, Claire is hauled off to a maximum security prison installation on Rockfort Island. While making her escape, she realizes the island is being overrun by zombies and Bio-Organic Weapons. Claire meets another prisoner, Steve Burnside, who is also looking to escape … but will they be able to work together to make it out alive? The island is veiled in secrets and the family behind the Umbrella Corporation has a deadly agenda of their own. I missed this title when it originally launched on the PlayStation 2, so this would be a great opportunity to get my hands on the only Resident Evil game that I haven’t played.
I know this is off topic, but I would have enjoyed an HD version of the Resident Evil remake that appeared on the GameCube.

for the record, a platinum has no value towards you percentage total. sure it adds +1 2 your trophy total count. so what short end of the stick are you talking about? 360 players should be upset that they don’t get an extra gamerscore point for knocking out all achievement for a game.
Anyone care to chime in on how good the graphics are on Code Veronica? Everyone seems to obsessed with RE4 to talk much about CV.
I was much more excited when I was thinking these were going to have plats (sorry I know this thread has been drilled to death with this talk). I have already decided not to get RE4 since it sounds like it is not that much of a graphical improvement, no plat, and no Move (it’s okay, I have bought the game 3 times already so I feel pretty entitled to miss out on one copy for such ‘trivial’ reasons).
Sorry, I digress. I own the original Code Veronica but have not played it many years. Is the graphics enough of an improvement to buy this on PSN and give it a go?

To those who haven’t played this game yet…Code Veronica is a great Resident Evil game if you loved RE1, RE2, & RE3.
It’s actually a true sequel to RE2 it’s not a spin-off just because it doesn’t have a number in the title. It’s a true sequel because it continues the story of Claire searching for her brother Chris (he’s a playable character too) and it’s the first RE game to reveal the resurrection of Albert Wesker. It’s set 3 months after the events of RE2 & RE3.
It’s a great game overall, well in my opinion it is.

Not happy at all, it’s always one thing or another with Sony while Microsoft sadly is always on the ball with releases. It’s really making me want to switch the other side so I don’t have to keep being let down with releases I was looking forward to.
Here it is at 5:20 EST and Code Veronica is STILL not on the store.
I’m giving it until 6:30pm EST and if it’s not on then, I’m spending my money with Microsoft.

Why does every care so much about trophies. They are pointless. They don’t do anything. Why are you people crying over a couple of POINTLESS trophies. I love Code Veronica and stupid trophies are not stopping me from buying it.

I know that the chances are that the answer is a big fat NO, but will you ever get Resident Evil 0 out here? I know it was a Game Cube game but still, it would be cool to have every Resident Evil game on one system. Heck part of the only reason I still have my Wii is because of Resident Evil 0.
@ MarkakaJin neither was Mortal Kombat Kollection and that had NO HD at all. Not to mention its waaaay older than BG&E and i snagged all THREE for 10 bucks…..trophies dont matter to me altho they push u to go that extra distance whether it be hardest difficuly or whatnot. BUT…charging that much for games that has ALREADY been “re-done” ( i see u RE4…what? this is the 3rd time?) is quite nuts. dont get me wrong….excellent game, but y charge that amount for something i played twice already?
