I never played the first one, just 2 and BH. Like those. If the first one comes with trophies i will absolutely preorder it but if not i will not worry about it too much.

Actually it could be very simple for Ubisoft to give Assassin’s Creed 1 a trophy patch, since the 360 version has achievements. Just copy that and import it into trophies for the PS3. Though, many developers won’t give trophy patches to their older games, like Capcom and Devil May Cry 4, etc. etc.
Though great deal, will pick it up.
If AC1 had trophy support I would play the entire AC franchise.

I have ac 1 and I’m getting revelations so…its not a big deal for me but for the people who are complaining it doesn’t have trophies…hey at least you didn’t pay $20 and find that out :( yea i didn’t check but i didn’t care. It was good but i like ac2 alot more, brotherhoods ok but i hope they make an ac3 like new character and stuff.
Revelations does look better than brotherhood though!!!

There will be no trophies for AC1.
I can’t begin to imagine why anyone in their right mind would complain about a free bonus like this but thanks! It’s nice to see developers use up the empty space with something like this. I feel that bluray isn’t used to its potential often enough in multiplatform titles and while more original game content is ideal this is certainly better than nothing and much appreciated.
So this is definitely coming to Canada too, right? Maybe I can sell my AC1 disc for $5.
Gotta say this is awesome, can’t argue with a free game! Although I already have the original, its a great deal for people who haven’t played it, or new comers to the AC games.
After reading some comments I’m shocked at how people are crying over the lack of trophies, I mean seriously? They are giving us a FREE game and people still find things to cry about, seriously what a spoiled and childish world we live in. Pay no attention to them Ubisoft, you guys are doing great and this is greatly appreciated. I mean prior to this announcement people were just thought to get AC Revelations and then this greatness is announced and its to complaining, shut the f*** up is all I gotta say to you whiners.

I agree people shouldn’t be mad because it may not have trophies and its free but in my opinion big games deserve trophies. Hey if i had to send them $15-30 extra in order to have trophies i would.

i guess thats pretty cool for the people that havnt played the first AC but i aready had it since it came out this doesnt really appeal to me but I still cant wait to get this game

Once Revelations is released will there be a patch for Assassin’s Creed One to have Trophy Support? Because it’s not fair that the xbox version has achievements.
i don’t know why you guys added AC1 , should have been AC2, AC1 is boring and you guys know it was just a test game that sold a lot
wow people its free and you guys still complain its not like you guys are forced to play the 1st one its mainly for people who didnt play the 1st one like me never been interested in these games but with this free game i might just buy it!!

I called Gamestop in my local area and they confirmed that if you preordered the Ps3 copy they will have the AC1 included with the AC R
I have it paid for and can’t wait to get the game here and if they had trophy support for the first game that would be cool but lets be pratical here if they would offer it they would have already sent a patch out for it but then again …… they may just send a patch out for this update of the game since it will have true 1080P in this one and not have the xbox downgraded graphics here.
I’ve played and beat them all, but i will def enjoy going through ac1 again. they all ended so fast cuz u get deeply hooked and can’t put it down. and all this time has passed since we have played altair’s story, this is def a good idea and a great way to get u in the mood for more. id love trophies, but again its free, why do these little kids ALWAYS complain about something when sony gets them more free stuff!?
This is a great bonus even if AC1 is inferior to AC2/ACB, people should stop complaining about this, this extra game is 100% free
while i enjoy assassins creed, ive never felt like it was good enough for a $60 purchase (especially when the price of assassins creed games drops so fast), but i always do try and support the developers by buying new after the price has dropped a bit. this is just giving me a reason to buy used. ill definitely go to each of the gamestops that are near me to try and find a used disc with assassins creed 1 on it also.
when you make a used game purchase better than a new game purchase im definitely going to be buying used.
It would be cool if they added trophy support, but is guess it’s a neat bonus for those that haven’t played the first one.
@48 actually ac1 is pretty crappy. It’s extremely redundant and you don’t really get the cool upgrades or skills you do in the sequels. Also if it doesn’t have trophies theres no reason for most people to play a game they already have.
I’d love trophy support for the first game but i highly doubt that it will have trophy support. Which… sucks.

I don’t know about anyone else’s copy of AC 1 but mine kept hitting this bug that just froze my game. I stopped playing it . It was after one of the missions that you had to kill this dude that was in a corner somewhere guarded by 10 or so soldiers. It was about half way through the game i think. So i never passed it. Anyone else have this problem?
Already got the first one. Don’t mind it being packed in, but it would be extra sweet if they did the bit of effort and just did trophy support. I know they said they weren’t interested before they did this, but you’d think patching in trophies wouldn’t be that hard.

it wouldnt be hard to put trophy support into it… cos its already programmed for 360 achievements so it shouldnt be hard to transfer over to trophy support

What’s with all the ” if it supports Trophies?” I play video games, for the sake of playing the game. Maybe it’s because I’ve been playing games since the Atari, but… seems sad that’s the only incentive for people.

Sounds like a great deal for those who haven’t played AC1. Unfortunately I already have and with UC3 and Batman AC coming out I can’t afford to get this one just yet even with such a sweet deal.
AC1 was the first PS3 title I had. Nice to have it again, totally nostalgic. I don’t even understand how people would not purchase a great new game over trophy support for a free addition. I don’t want it because I cant get free trophies?
