PlayStation Network is scheduled to undergo maintenance today, from about 8am until approximately 5pm Pacific time. During this time, registration and Account Management will be inaccessible, including the password reset process. While some users may experience difficulty signing in to PSN, the majority of consumers will be able to play online as well as sign in to external sites that require PSN authentication (like this one).
For those asking about the PlayStation Store, we’re still targeting restoration of all services by the end of this month. Contrary to reports, the Store will not be publishing today.
Stay tuned to the PlayStation Twitter feed for updates and a notice when maintenance has concluded.

Dammit I am a supporter of Sony but you should have shut down the rumor that the store was coming back today, this rumor is like a week old and everyone was counting on it since then, now you’re gonna have a lot of backlash for springing this on us the day of.

My subscription runs out tomorrow! Will i still get 60 days? My plus account better not be shut down tomorrow if i can’t even renew it, all my games i got for free using plus will be unplayable too.Very unhappy if this turns out to be true tomorrow. I sent an email questioning this and all i got back was a pre-written statement , not happy about that either my question remains unanswered. Will anyone give me my answer?

I just want store be up so I can buy promos from the hut in nhl 11 I got over 100k pucks waiting to be spend :P. They can wait for store updated next week. Just want up so I can grab promos :D.
I’m not going to apologize for earlier if I seemed like I was *nerding out* on certain people, I’m just tired of people complaining the way they are. Yeah it’s annoying that we’ve had a very big lack of response to what has been happening or we have been fed the same crap over and over but that’s why I’m flustered about people complaining.
We keep complaining, and what do you guys notice? “We’re sorry for blah blah blah” and that’s ALL we’ve been getting at the most, most of the time. So why bother complaining a month after? Sony should know they need to get their act together. So why does everyone have to keep on about it? I know we shouldn’t be living in a world of excuses after excuses but this is company is as much of a let down as almost any other at one point.
We’ve all spent money, we all want our services we’ve paid for back, we all want want want it back but we all need to just keep calm and wait. What we want, well, we need to wait for it. Just be glad you aren’t forking out an EXTRA $60+ a year guys. Be thankful they brought PSN back at all. Be glad it will be coming back, just be glad you aren’t in the 1930s right now or you’d be playing ball in a cup.
At least we can still play online, but the Playstation Store will still be down for over a month.

I, like everyone else,am really anxious to get the store back up and running. I also understand that they are doing what they can as fast as they can. Be patient people. Waiting another week or two isn’t that bad. I have been a loyal Sony supporter since I got my first PS. Sont don’t owe anybody anything. So just deal with it. It will be up when its up. Just be thankful we still have online gaming, thats better than nothing.

Not everyone wanted online gaming back. I would much rather enjoy the services of my PS Plus and the store. Online gaming is great for those that like it, I however am not a big fan. I too have been a loyal sony supporter since my first PS and this is the first time I’ve questioned it. I’m tired of being told to be patient when I’m not getting anything, except told to wait. How fair is that?

@Bubaroo, I understand where you are coming from and yes I agree, not everyone does like online gaming. My point was, we still have Home, which I do enjoy, as well as online gaming, so we at least we have something. I learned from my army days and the time I spent in Iraq and Afghanistan, to be thankful for all you have, because thetre is always someone else who has it worse off. Sony is not going to reopen the store until they feel it is completely ready.

-Let me give my two free games to someone else, as I cant use two copies of the same game on one account. Or
-Give me back my money for these games that are now free. Or,

Man I just feel like I wasted alot of cash going with Playstation.I never thought I would say that but damn this is getting very lame and annoying.Not to mention the fact the make good package will be mostly made up of games I have already purchased from the PS Store.Out of 5 we can pick 2 and I have 3 of them so wheres my choice??I have stuck by playstation even with all my friends getting Xboxs and telling me how lame I was for going with Sony.I have stood up for playstation for years now and with the recent events I feel like I got slapped in the face.Get your crap together Sony or I am done.
