Hi everyone. A new PSP system software update, v6.39, will be released soon. With this update, users who need to change their PlayStation Network password will be guided through the process. Also, system software stability during use of some features will be improved.
When will the Playstaion Store goin back up? I hope it is up by this week because the map pack should be coming soon.

With this update, users who NEED to change their PlayStation Network password will be guided through the process. In other words… if you have NOT already changed your password BEFORE this Update 6.39, you will be required to change your password at this time!!!
I had already changed my password (and email for that matter) weeks ago… the install 6.39 completed without request to change my password. Again, because I had already changed my password weeks ago when I installed Update 6.38, in the middle of all this mess.
So, there’s my experience!!! Your thoughts???

I have probably checked every other hour for the last week!!! (lol)
Also, wanted to mention that your User Name & Password can be the same on both your PS3 and your PSP,
so if you have already changed your password on your PS3, change it to match on your PSP. Done!!! 8~)
While revamping the store site ,will there be any patches that will stop all cheaters from hacking the save game data files that let them cheat during online play? It is very sad when gamers say they love ps3 online and then hack the very game they love playing. Please do something about it
Still waiting for PStore to be up, i need to re-download my mass effect 2 DLC’s for some reason its not working 0.o when i load up my game it says my hdd does not have the required content (even though i have it installed).

You better update Media Go App for security reasons… I hope you remember that Media Go has PlayStation Store as well… at lleast do update for PlayStation Stor4 plugin …
Erm to some of you, SONY has never said the Store will be back tomorrow? It was just a internet rubbish rumor.
But hopefully it will be back because the PSN is going in to maintenance later. Fingers crossed :D

To Sony: Thank you so much for going above and beyond the call of duty (no pun intended) with the welcome back pack, identity theft insurance, etc. as I realize that you are not required to do this. Thank you for keeping us up to date with posts on the blog instead of leaving us in the dark like you could of so easily done. I am sorry that you got hacked and I realize that this breach was not your fault. So take all the time you need to make the store (and everything else for that matter) secure, and thank you for being patient with all of the annoying haters that have been and still are yelling at you even though they have no idea what they are talking about.
