Hi everyone. A new PSP system software update, v6.39, will be released soon. With this update, users who need to change their PlayStation Network password will be guided through the process. Also, system software stability during use of some features will be improved.

I wonder if that’s gonna come out when the PSN store returns.
They are probably just testing the store to make sure it operates correctly with the NEW network they created. Once they have passed all tests and the store is more secure then they will put it back online.

@181 Don’t believe the rumors I’ve heard several different rumors one that the store isn’t up until the end of May another that the Store might be down for some time because Sony was hacked again all probably being false but I know I would love for the store to be back up tomorrow!

Yessssss, I’ve been dying for some LoD. Japans’ PSN store has it so the NA one should too! We have all the FF and even Legend of Mana!!! We need LoD SONY, please fulfill our wishes!
if anyone is a plus user, go into your transaction managment and check if you have two months added on your ps plus. if so this may be a sign the store will be back up sooner than later

Have faith it Sony, they made a mistake, people make mistakes. I’m sure there security system is top notch. I’m pretty sure it’s okay since they realize the identity of their customers is at risk. They won’t screw up again.
Be contempt in knowing that multi-million dollar corporations like money, and in order to acquire more money they need to better understand their consumers.
What we want is better security. Do you have it? Yes. Is it hack proof? We as consumers don’t know. The only people who do know are the one’s who beefed up the security.
Come on guy, let it go.
If it happens again THEN you can worry.
