We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

BTW… just so other people understand… I do understand why they don’t just credit people $20 or whatever to their wallets… all five of the offered games are from first party studios, so Sony’s not really losing any money by giving them away. If they just gave you $20, you might spend it on third party software, and Sony would have to pay out for it. That being said, they really need to expand the selection for us loyal customers that already paid for all five.

In all honesty, none of that stuff interests me except the Playstation Plus. I’ve been wanting to try it for some time now and this gives me the opportunity to see if I like it. I’m not complaining here either. I really don’t care about the free stuff, I am just so glad to have the PSN back up and I really can’t wait to spend my hard earned cash in the store! As for the Black Ops maps, I can see why Sony wouldn’t want to give them out, not everyone has Black Ops. I got it on PC and right away I realized that was a mistake. While the gameplay is great, the story isn’t that interesting, not nearly as good as MW2. Another nice touch is the free movie rentals, huge props to Sony for getting me and the wife to snuggle up to a few good movies!

Typical the only ones who think this is “super fantastic” and “neato” are the total fanboys. Hey some of us are still long time customers and spent a lot of money on PSN, what we’re saying is basically the loyal customers are getting the nothing from this. There should be a alternate choice thats all I’m saying.
What a horrible list… Again Im disappointed by sony. IN the way they handled this, in the free content, in the time it took to get back online and the fact that Sony hasnt confirmed they implemented the new security features to make sure it doesnt happen again! Does everyone here know PSN isnt back in Japan?! The Government wont allow it back online until they do what they promise and we just stuck it up like 77million accounts werent affected… We’re still not secure yet! We were allowed to change our password. That was the update… They should give us a credit to use, not games were already own or dont want.

Good games, but I own all of them as well. It’s great that they’re giving them for free, but I’ll be pretty disappointed if those who have them aren’t offered some sort of “make-good.”
Thank you Sony. When a lot of companies don’t have to give anything just for putting its product back online, it shows that at least it can own up to its mistakes and offer the public a little bonus on top of it. Something is better than nothing.
I was REALLY hoping Warhawk would be one of them, I already own it but I thought it would be a great way to get new people excited for Starhawk and get lots of new players on the servers again!
Im loving inFamous though, I sold it a while back and was getting the itch to play it again! Also never played Wipeout so thats great.

Not interested in any of those games. I just want the store up so I can get Back to the Future Episode 3 which I already paid for, and Fallout New Vegas: Honest Hearts. It sucks that once again the Xpaper Weight 360 gets the Fallout DLC before PS3.

Did you pay for my PS3? Did you pay for my online enabled games? Did you cover the cost of all my DLC? Did you pay for my service bill from Sony after sending in 4 PS3s… FOUR PS3s to be fixed?
NO. No you did not. I paid for all of this crap. Every penny spent came from my paychecks. My identity is stolen. Now I have to suffer with all the extra b.s. it has created in my life. If you are still living at home with mommy and daddy, don’t waste our time with your replies. No one cares what you have to say until you live life on your own first.
Every time Sony tries to do something nice like this, from afar it seems like the best thing the company could do. For those -new- Sony customers (or new PS3 owners) the Welcome Back package is significant. Many new owners would not own these older games. For the rest of us who owned every game during the first year or two, this is a crud offer.
If you had any common sense, you would understand why those who have been supporting the PS3 from the start feel left out with this package.

I can’t say i hate the games being offered, but I would like it if they had more action games that weren’t rated M,see some parents are strict about what games kids should play, and and even more strict about M games.Soooo, if they were T for teens, some parents might approve more about the game.Just sayin you know?
Im the same as comment 12 i bough my ps3 a couple days after unaware that psn was hacked i was really hoping to play killzone 3 with some friends but i have waited like 2 and a half weeks and i made this account at like 2:30 in the morning once it was up in canada so i was wondering if the welcome back would count for me and comment number 12
@630 yes stardust HD has 3DTV support. it was also one of the first PSN titles release as well as being one of the first to support trophies.

I think it is sweet, but not for me. As a Playstation fan, I own all of those games. So I will get nothing out of the Welcome Back program… Which is sad, since I invested more in games and PlayStation than a normal person would, since I have 150 PS3 games.

You wanna give us a welcome back package, Give all psn users $50 in their account & 2 free disc games of OUR choice. The game you offering are anyplace from 1-3 yrs old, Not to metion, that Dead Nation/Super Stardust HD & Wipeout HD sucks, And didn’t sell well when they was released. We know that the only reason your giving them to us for free. Your not fooling anyone.
