  • Good job SONY knew u could do it… Now lets get the store up online I have 3 $50 PSN cards that i need to use up xD

  • if sony was a girl i would marry her lol LOVE YOU GUYS thank you so much but still when is asian psn going up?

  • Seriously, people??? If you’re not complaining about one thing, you’re complaining about another. So you have the games already, too bad. No, you’re not getting other options other than those five games, there’s no alternative. Get over it. I’m just glad it’s all going back to normal.

  • TheRealMacAttack

A game is cool, but I think I’d rather just have the new maps for Black Ops for free…like maybe 20.00$ PS Cash instead of the game

  • Now this is why I have always remained a loyal fan. Thanks Sony/Playstation! :)

  • Anyone else think these titles are cheap?

  • Wow, inFamous for free? That’s a mighty fine welcome back, Sony. Thank you kindly. :)

  • 401 I agree

  • Wow! infamous an LBP here I come!
Thanks Sony and to the others that helped get those to you to offer.

  • CraShDummiFlash

another big suprise, first i got a subscription to ps plus and it gave me free games i already owned. i was hoping to get a NEW game after not being allowed to play BFBC2 for almost a month, but NO, just 5 more free games i have already purchased.

  • by the way ever1 add me ocxviruxz

  • hi sony and thanks for the updates…can you talk to trearch and tell them if escalation map pack will be for ps3 and free 2

  • crazyasamexican

nice sony, but what if we own, both a ps3 and a psp, would we get both the game for psp and ps3?

  • thats stupid for wut some people been through come some people lost everything come on u can do better that psn come on

  • I HAVE ALL OF THOSE GAMES!!!!! Hook me up Sony.

  • nice but one problem WHAT IF WE ALREADY OWN THOSE PS3 GAMES?????????????????????

  • Like other users, I would also like to know what happens if every single one of the PS3 games being offered are already owned by us? I would imagine that we are simply out of luck when it comes to the software offered.

I own all of the titles that are being offered and in a way feel that the titles picked are fairly common and were pushed fairly strongly when they first came out. Will it be taken in to consideration for those of us who have them or do we just have to make due?

A better option, in my humble opinion would have been to have a way to have the total amount of those titles gifted to our PSN wallets so that we could buy software that we don’t already own instead of having a crap shoot on whether or not this “Welcome Back” programme meant anything to us or not.

    Just my two cents.

  • i must say this is more than i expected. much appreciated.

  • hell to the yeah thanks sony/now dont everybody feel bad for dogging the network out

  • Shud I get lilbigplanet and dead nation or lilbigplanet and infamous

  • Well that sucks. The only one I don’t own is Dead Nation.

  • Wow, this is amazing! Thanks so much, Sony!

  • Good Gob so far but don’t let nobody else hack sony again

  • old games though. wat about ppl who already have these listed games?

  • wow 2 games i already have and 2 crappy top down shooters good going sony this reminds me of what you did with star wars galaxies turned a gem into a turd, this is how you repay us for the intrusion that you could have avoided really i mean those games are worth what 5 bucks a pop is that what you really think about your 7 million or so subscribers ( i just might sell my ps3 now) craigslist here i come

  • Wait, so if I get a free month of PlayStation Plus and download a huge number of stuff, I’ll have to keep buying the Plus to keep my stuff?

  • OMG…. all the ps3 games i already own …..
what if i download it again???

  • Thank you Sony!!! I really can’t beleive all of the people that are still whining about not getting what they want for free. Technically, you don’t have to give us “non-payers” anything at all, but you are. That is very much appreciated.

  • I sat here patiently waiting for the PSN to come back up, only to be offered an “Unwelcome” back program because I already own all five games. I really wish you guys would respond to the people who have said this, because we are the ones who have been truly screwed by the network being down for so long, and because we are loyal and have already bought (and at full price) these titles when they came out, we are getting screwed. Way to really “thank” your loyal customers.

  • Will there be any additional features for those of us who are already Playstation Plus subscribers and own every single one of those PS3 offerings?

It’s a great gesture, don’t get me wrong, but it sort of puts me in a bad spot to receive nothing. Should I just contact customer support about that at some point in the future?

  • Sweet! I have 3 of the 5, so by default I get to check out Super Stardust and WipeOut HD. Thanks!

  • Well the free games offer does me absolutely no good as I already own those games, c’mon Sony how about a second choice?

  • Game selection is weak. I have no interest in any of the titles (except LBP, which I already own).
    You’ll have to do better.

  • thanks sony

  • Thankful PSN is on the map again love what you do SONY!!!

Thank you for keeping this real and FREE, 24 days awy from you my friend was much too long but the wait made it so much more worth getting back on!!!

    Peace love and chicken grease.

Loyal GAMER and FAN PS ONLY FOR LIFE!!! (:

  • Spiral-INfinity

    PS3 list:

  • zOmBiEsLaYer623

  • Still not up and working to get on the store or Music service? WHAT’S UP????

  • We love you Sony Playstation! :D

  • WOW!!! REALLY??? thats the free games we get!! PSN should of stayed down in my book if that’s the best they can come up with.

  • I AM HUMMBLED TO THE MAX FREE GAMES OR NOT WE ALL STAIRED AT THE FACE OF EVIL AN WE REMAINED VIGILENT; AN WE ALL STUCK TOGETHER ON THIS HACK MATTER AN WE THE SONY FANS WON I THANK YOU ALL AN A BIG THANKS TO SONY THANK YOU

  • and plz reply

  • Awesome, but i have a question. While its doesnt pertain to me as i dont have some games listed. What happens if someone has all the games for both ps3 and psp. Are they basically getting nothing because they already have the games?

  • Thank you PSN!

  • Offline for weeks, millions of people’s personal data exposed, and Sony shucks out 2 year old bargain bin games that anyone but casual gamers already own and two extra months of a coupon service. Pathetic.

  • …Really… Really? -_-

Yeah, I know. It ain’t cheap giving away 100-ish million games and these older games minimize the likely losses in future sales since most people who wanted them already bought them, but it’s so terribly blatant. inFamous? Sequel bait. LittleBigPlanet? Sequel bait. WipeOut HD, Dead Nation, Super Stardust HD? Sales probably flatlined long ago, especially since PS+ gave them away quite awhile ago. Worse still, it renders those PS+ benefits null since now everyone’s got a shot at ’em. And the PSP? Well, in two or three years when the NGP price drops, I suppose those will be… no, never mind.

Ah, what the hell. I didn’t like it much to begin with, but at least now I have WipeOut HD+ Fury forever. I just hate that I’ll probably have to redownload it all.

Just please start putting up some game news. I’m still miffed that the blog dropped that for those three weeks when it actually served significant entertainment purposes.

  • Yeah, Hey Sony, Any word on the new Escalation Map Pack release time for ps3??? I’m getting tired of my friends at school talking about playing it on X-Box 360. Thanks!!!!

  • Oh Snap!!!

  • Oh boy. I can select two of five games that I already own, having paid full price for all of them. SSHD? Really? A 4+ year old game? They should have implemented a system to see if you already purchased these games, or offered a selection from a larger list. They’re basically rewarding people who haven’t supported Sony as much by not buying these games prior to the outage, and screwing the loyal customers who did.

Super weak sauce. I would have prefered $20 credited to my PSN wallet. Hell, $10 would be better than this.

  • Wow, way to go Sony for being so generous, just wish I didn’t already own 4 out of 5 of those games :P
