PlayStation 3

LittleBigPlanet 2 – LittleBigPlanet 2 begins with a unique story mode that provides a beautifully reshaped world for Sackboy to explore and play. Each story level is influenced by cultural high points in history.

Players can reset the controller buttons for any object and change the rules to any level through an ability called Direct Control and multiplayer abilities advance the types of games possible for a social/competitive experience. Users are able to link levels together to provide longer gameplay experiences without the breakup of going back to the Pod and can see what LittleBigPlanet 2 levels/games their friends are playing via activity steams.

Mass Effect 2 (Available on PSN) – Once again stepping into the role of the heroic Commander Shepard, gamers command their crew on a suicide mission in space. Players must assemble their squad from amongst the galaxy’s most powerful mystics, geniuses, and convicts and lead them on a suicide mission to discover why humans are vanishing from the galaxy. The success of the mission hinges on the squad recruited and their loyalty to the mission. Shepard’s future depends on it.

Spare Parts (Demo Available) – In this online action adventure, players join courageous robots Mar-T and Chip as they find themselves dumped with the trash on a strange planet. Working together in co-op mode, the mechanical duo must find a way to repair their ship and escape the planet before nefarious Lord Krung can dispatch his henchmen to destroy them.

PSone: Metal Slug X

PSone Classics

Metal Slug X – Metal Slug X sets the stage for you to save the world. A power-hungry group of renegades has teamed up with aliens, and together they are planning to assume control of the planet. You are a one-man army whose mission is to squash the rebellion. In addition to new weapons, you will also have access to a variety of vehicles including the Super Vehicle-001 mini-tank, Camel Slug, Slug Flyer, and Slugnoid, each packed with special weapons and abilities.

PSone Jp Classic: Mega Man

PSone Japan Classics

Mega Man – A port of the NES original with slightly enhanced graphics & sound as well as save points, unlocakable art and other special features.

PSminis: Shift Extended

minis

Shift Extended – Locked up with other subjects of a scientific experiment, Subject 32763 must figure out a way out. Escape the many traps of the game and find your way through this gigantic maze. But the path to safety is not clearly visible … or is it? Use the “SHIFT” function to radically the architecture of the levels. White becomes black, the ground is now air, up is down and left is right: everything is shifted 180 degrees. This allows the player to shift the environment at will and therefore find new ways to get to the exit.

Pipe Madness – Put together some pipes — pronto! In Pipe Madness, you must rush to complete your pipeline before the liquid catches up with you or all of your hard work will be ruined. Combat the flowing liquid over endless levels and reach that unbeatable high score. Maximize your bonuses by building intricate pipe networks.

5 in 1 Solitaire – Now you can take five of the most popular solitaire games with you on the go. 5 in 1 Solitaire features the always-popular Klondike, Spider and FreeCell games as well as the unique Golf and Gaps versions of solitaire. Each of these versions has a unique style of play that’s easy enough for novice players to enjoy but will also challenge experts. You can also view tutorials for each game, track your scores and view gaming stats to see your progress.

Karimogi – Karimogi is an alien that needs you! The situation is critical. Cranes are dropping bricks everywhere and Karimogi needs your help to push them around and put them in order or he will never see his spaceship again. Arrange the bricks into rows and they will then disappear. But be careful, you must stay very alert because any brick could crush you!

Check out this link, and you”ll see just how bad the people of the North American PSN want Legend Of Dragoon on ps store as a PS One classic. Please bring this to PSN, and soon. We’ve been waiting for years now, checking every Tuesday on the psx classic section just to see if LOD made it, only to be disappointed.

  • Hmm….the only thing of interest is Megaman.
Next week, Dead space 2..yeah :)

  • Mass Effect 2, LBP2 and Japanese Megaman 1? I love owning a PS3.

  • It’s a great week to own PlayStation devices. Looking forward to LPB2, of course.

I’m curious as to why Ys I & II Chronicles is listed as being released this week, though. I do hope the digital version comes out sooner than later, of course.

  • yo rey u gunna reply on the whole Ys 1 and 2 chronicles being released early or what need info need to know if i need to blow my money on this now and not eat or ill be able to wait or what not come on rey pretty plz :D

  • Maybe Modern Combat!

  • All right, can’t wait for this Tuesday! I can then get my Preordered LBP2 Collector’s Edition and ME2 as well. Those two games alone would keep me busy for the entire year.
Megaman is cool but I’m waiting for Mega-man Legends to come out as a PSOne classic. I played that game a lot.

  • think i need to try out demo or rent mass effect 2 before buying it,also i am one those retro games and glad that mega man is coming to playstation network

  • Mass Effect 2, Metal Slug X AND LittleBigPlanet 2? What a great birthday week… lol.

  • mmmm megaman huh. im going to have to see what all is in there before i bite since i have that for my gamecube.

  • Mega Man is just a port of the NES game with a new HUD. That’s just sad. Let’s get some worthwhile games from the series. Mega Man Legends would be a good start. Also, needs moar Xenogears.

  • LittleBigPlanet 2!!! This week is going to be awesome. Can’t wait to get my collector’s edition on Tuesday. :)

I will be checking the update to get the Week 1 t-shirt most likely. Not sure about anything else on the PSN for Tuesday. Though sooner or later, I do want to try the Spare Parts demo. That game looks neat imo.

Anyway, did I mention LBP2? lol.

  • LBP2 Collector’s Edition FTW!!! 8)

  • Was Mindjack left out intentionally?

  • Does Mass Effect 2 from the PSN come with the downloadable content like on the disc version of the game?

  • I won LBP2 through a Subway contest. Otherwise I’d buy the CE. Hopefully it is delivered soon. Can’t wait to try it.

I really want ME2 as well, but wouldn’t get around to it for a while with the backlog I have.

And I’m glad Modern Combat is getting a demo. $6 is an extremely tempting price if it’s any good.

  • @67. they are working on megaman legends. i just wish they would give us more updates on whats going on and everything

  • Waiting for my copies of LBP2 and ME2 to arrive. =)

  • ETA on “Under Siege” please?

  • Guys don’t just pass off Modern Combat Domination because it’s an fps.

First of all, it’s only 8 freaking dollars. EIGHT dollars! That is HALF the price of the DLC for Mw2 and Black Ops soon.

2nd, there is a demo so EVERYONE should download that to look at the game for just a few minutes at least.

    3rd, Move support.

4th, 8 dollars. Again. What else is there to say? You know, besides 8 dollars again.

Go work at burger king for literally an hour then quit that day and you’ll have enough money to pay for the game.

  • MEGA MAN! SWEET!

  • Add my PSN: Shaelyn if you want to play some LBP2! :D

  • Another week without Xenogears :(
I’ll wait forever, but I had my hopes up!

  • SONY PLEASE MARKET THE GAME TO PEOPLE WHO DON’T KNOW ABOUT IT LIKE US!

I want this game to sell because it’s a great game! I hate it it when Sony doesn’t even put any marketing out before the game releases! =[

  • Would still love to see XCom: UFO Defense as a PS1 Classic on the store so I could play it on my PSP. Please make it happen! :)

  • LBP2 collectors edition and ME2(psn version) this week ! Also gonna grab Modern Combat as gameloft has become a sweet developer over the years and they make some tight games. I played the game on the iphone like this from them and it is fantastic.

  • Ys I&II Chronicles isn’t out until February here, at least according to Amazon (not listed with other online retailers).

Shame we couldn’t just get the Mega Man Anniversary Collection, but I suppose this way we can pick and choose which specific MM games we want.

  • Great stuff, my ps3 will be downloading a lot for sure.

  • Hi. Any chance PSN might discount lbp1 costumes/dlc to promote the release of lbp2? Maybe even for PS+?
Would love to snatch some of the costumes I passed on before at a promotional price.

  • I already have the Mass Effect series on the 360, but I will surely be picking up LBP2!

  • What about Pixeljunk Shooter 2? How much longer do we have to wait?

  • There was a time where I would have LOVED to have that Mega Man game, but now that we have the anniversary collection there is no point for me. Oh well.

  • yall should really release final fantasy iv for psn

  • i mean yall released final fantasy 7,8,9 why dont u just start releasing the ones before them i mean its not that hard u know

  • Okay… Mass Effect 2 – definite buy, Little Big Planet 2 – Also a definite buy.

Mega Man PSOne Classic – Absolutely yes!!

Ys Chronicles 1 and 2… WHY on PSP? Get PSP games to play on PS3, OR get them to fill the entire screen on my 1080p HDTV and I will be interested. Until then get Hudson to make the game on the PSN for petes sakes!!

Also, please talk to Namco and get them to release the 3D patch to Ridge Racer 7 here in the states!! And ask them to release an english version of Tales of Vesperia over here in the states on PS3!!

We can only wait so freaking long you know. :P

  • It would be great if we could get the real sequel to Final Fantasy 2 (from the WiiWare) on the PSN. I refuse to buy it on my Wii, but I would easily buy it on my PSN.

    Just a thought.

  • Hey, anyone else having issues with the LBP2 collector’s pack code? (Canadian)

I put in the code exact and it tells me I either put the code in wrong, (which I didn’t) or the code isn’t valid (which it shouldn`t be the game got releasede today.

  • LBP and mass effect 2 are mine

  • THE FAMICOM MEGA MAN PS1 PORTS ARE COMING TO PSN?! BEST DAY EVER!
