Quench Your Thirst for LittleBigPlanet 2 Exclusives at 7-Eleven

81 0

Hi all! You may remember last year when we first introduced the 7-Eleven/God of War III program at 7-Eleven stores around the U.S. We received a great response, and we’re back today with an exciting update for you. As I’m sure some of you may have seen, Slurpee has teamed up once again with PlayStation to give the Slurpee treatment to two of this year’s most anticipated titles: LittleBigPlanet 2 and Killzone 3.

7-Eleven: LittleBigPlanet 2 Slurpee cups

In the coming weeks you’ll be able to find exclusive LittleBigPlanet 2 and Killzone 3 Slurpee cups at 7-Eleven stores around the U.S. These cups have already made their way into many 7-Eleven stores, but for those of you who haven’t had the chance to get your hands on them yet, take a quick look at what you can expect above.

Each week, from now through March 30, you can stop by any participating 7-Eleven store to quench your thirst, collect one of these limited cups and with them, a Slurpee Rewards promotional code that can be redeemed at Slurpee.com. From now through February 15th, we’ll be flooding Slurpee.com with more of what you want – exclusive LittleBigPlanet 2 and Slurpee-themed content, including a behind-the-scenes look at the making of LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet ringtones, wallpaper for your cell and PC, exclusive sticker packs, strategy guides and more!

Here’s a peek at some of the content that’s already available, as well as some that’s still to come:

  • Great to see SONY market their Exclusive games so well!! Well done! Make shore 7-11 personal know about this games and can promote them well! Come on! That would help allot!

  • Ugh, I hate slurpee-exclusive content. It was lame with GOW3 and it’s even lamer here, since there’s not a single 7-11 in a 300-mile radius of me!!!

  • Man this sucks! I just used the 7-Eleven locator from their site and the closet one is 92.5 mi away! I missed out on the last promotion because of this. 7-Elevens are hard to come by in certain locations.

BTW! Why can’t I log in and post comments from my PS3!?!

  • i just got the slurpee. i love how playstation is unbeatable

  • I live in a state where there is no such thing as a “7-Eleven”. If you’re going to do a promotion like this then have it at a place that is everywhere like McDonalds. This just seems pointless.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Stupid 7 Eleven promotions. First GOW and now this! ARGH! The closest 7-Eleven is 225 miles away from here. Sure would be nice if these promotions were available to everyone. :(

  • I love slurpees so I took advantage and got all the God of War 3 stuff so I guess I’ll be heading back to 711.

  • Is the lbp2 dynamic theme out??? cuz i dont see it on the rewards thing on slurpee.com

  • Others have said it, but I’ll reiterate… PLEASE BRING THIS TO CANADA!!

  • Awesome, its not too cold here, I live in Vegas so the lowest here is about 30 degrees, but it hasn’t gotten that cold lately or at all this year actually. I will definitely be collecting these. The only thing I don’t like though is by the looks of it these are the cardboard cups and not the awesome plastic ones with the 3d picture that I see other games have. It’s really a shame that such awesome franchises aren’t having those and instead these cheaper cups. I will be getting the codes though and getting the dlc stuff like I did with GOW3.

  • Just enjoying a peace mango Slurpee & it’s 19 degrees outside.

  • Hmm, reminds me of GoW3 all over again. The Dynamic Theme is the only thing I’m particularly interested in. Hopefully it doesn’t take an obscene amount of points.

  • So how many points do you get for each purchase? Really want that dynamic theme.

  • To help get you all started here’s 2 free Pts, HFTQ-SGQZ-CTPM. Got it from the slurpee newsletter.

  • well that settles it, I’m headed to 7-11 today!

  • No 7-Elevens in Tennessee :( sigh, i miss them being on every corner when i lived in California.

  • Stupid-country-exclusives! :(

  • WOW SONY GREAT MARKETING REAL SMART YA JERKS! 1: It’s the middle of freaking winter and people in general don’t want Slurpees.
2: You guys picked the most widespread store to carry your promotion as I have 50 million QTs near me but the 7 Elevens are over 20 miles away go take a hike!

  • BTW learn something from other companies! I remember a certain game called Halo 3 that got it’s own Mountain Dew made! It was essentially just the orange and red one mixed together but still apparently Sony advertising team still has their heads up their butts.

  • Okay just got back from the Slurpee site after getting some cups & codes (& my store only had the LBP cups, not the Killzone ones yet) and the only things from that list up there that are online to grab are 4 different LBP ringtones, the Killzone PC Wallpaper, and the Behind the scenes video of LBP2 which I thought was the only thing worth getting at this point. None of that cool stuff like dynamic themes, Killzone LBP mini-pack, strategy guide, sticker packs, etc.

  • Only a few 7-Elevens here in Mexico… Obviously NONE close to where I live. (Plus I think here in Mexico they don’t even have Slurpee…) =|

  • I just checked and there is no LBP2 dynamic theme. Was it taken down or will it be offered later on? What’s the deal?

  • Yay US… ):

    I want some LBP2 Slurpees ):

  • Mine didn’t have any LBP cups ;( just KZ3 Cups :/

  • i wont to get the LBP2 slurpee cups and the dyamic theam soo bad thos cup look sick

  • WOW THAT’S GREAT! To bad the nearest 7-11 is 67 miles away and I live in Florida! and when I asked Slurpee Nation Customer Care for help getting some free points and a collectors cup this is the response I got…

“There are no free points available. Please contact your local 7-Eleven store to see if they carry the Little Big Planet 2 promotional cups.
    Thanks and Keep on Slurpin!
    …Slurpee Nation Customer Care”

Sony why do you keep using this oh so inconvenient convenience stores for your Marketing? Missed out on God of war 3 stuff, Assassins Creed Brotherhood stuff and now unless I can beg some codes Little Big Planet 2 stuff! That’s some great Marketing your doing there!

  • I may have to try these out! :O

  • I got 23 points! There are so many 7-11’s in Southern california!! Does anyone know what the KillZone Mini pack comes with?

  • Google search “slurpee rewards points”… Third link down will give you like 12 or 14 points.. (you can only enter 10 points worth a day)

  • Oh just great, yet another 7-11 promotion that does me no good as I live in Tennessee!!!!!!! NO 7-11’S HERE PPL!!!!!! Try using a place that everyone has!!!!!!
