  • OMG lol lol lol lmao rofl lol lol lol i just seen this
250 mb install followed by a 13 gb install also followed by a 2gb patch omg that’s silly plus 15 bucks a month plus not the same severs as pc. I’LL TAKE PASS FOR A 1000 ALEX!

  • No Lifetime Subscription on PS3 and $10 more dollars what I assume will be a massive install yet still need the Disc to play so no one Disc for Multiple Consoles. So here is the breakdown…

    PS3 59.99- PC 49.99
    PS3 134.99/year -PC 199.99/ lifetime
PS3 1 disc per console to play – PC 1 disc for up to 5 PCs
PS3 massive % of HDD for Most owners – PC 17 gb on PC is nothing.

YEP Sony sure set this game up for success on the PS3. Had this pre ordered until I played beta and heard no lifetime for PS3 this game is going to fail hard and the reasoning will be Console owners aren’t ready for MMO’s. Not Console Owners don’t like being screwed over.

  • I plan to wait and see I got a feeling I will get a really good deal on a used game disk 30 days from now! Or maybe Sony will panic and offer the game on psn for free if you get a few months of subs! Either way am not paying for the right to pay even more!

  • I had a chance to play the game yesterday for a couple of hours and I love it!
After the intial download patch (which took a little under 3 hours) I was good to go.
This is my first time in playing a game in the MMO world, but it is addictive.
The 30-day free subscription is nice to get you into the game and plus you get the time to decide if you want to continue with the $15 Monthly fee after that.
Graphics are great, story line is good also.
I’d recommend it to anyone who is interested in a game like this.

  • there is no way an online game on PC distributed by a major company would be 5$ a month or free, there’s economic laws that make it impossible to really choose some tariffs because of competition, meaning the company having a 5$ fee would be greatly favoured ; if the game wasn’t released on PC too, making it only console that would be different
the content is already superior imho to other MMORPGs, new kind of missions (and voiced), most being story arcs ending with a boss fight, customization is almost as good as City of heroes (only body parts scaling missing), powers really change with each combo of element/weapon and has the dominant color of the costume, making it yours

  • As soon as you guys change from a Subscription model to a Free to Play using Micro-transactions model this is a day 1 buy for me. Until then…I wait.

  • Loved the beta but there’s no way I’m paying $15 to play this. $5 is a definite, $10 I have to think about a bit, but $15 is a definite no.

  • Why would people want micro-transactions? They are terrible and make for terrible MMO experiences, especially when it comes to PvP… even PvE is terrible.

Micro-transactions tend to change a game’s entire design in a negative way.

I guess people want a crappy MMO that they can play for free, instead of a good MMO that costs them money.

  • I don’t mind paying the subscription fees … pretty cheap I say. I have a Job , Bills , and Rent and can still afford this. The people who complain about the subscription fees are the same people who always want something for nothing but will drop meaningless dollars on dlc for games that will cease to be of interest after sequels come out and the multiplayer on such games shut down. The only thing I want to see is the lifetime subscription fee finally come to the ps3.

  • game looks good, to bad for the monthly fee, to many good games out with free online xD

  • no way i can pay 15$ a month

  • This game looks amazing but I not digging this monthly fee one bit.

  • Its a killer game, but 14.99 a month is to much! 4.99 a month or FREE would be better! thought there would be more trophies and hope they raise the lvl cap, cause most players will reach that long before the end of the first month free play! So whens the Marvel Universe Online game coming out?

  • pay for play + “free” psn = fail PERIOD!
