Hi everyone,
I’m happy to let you know that we’ll offer our biggest PlayStation Plus publish to date coming up in December just in time for the Holidays! We will be giving more than $50 of content over the next two weeks, essentially paying for a full year’s subscription to PlayStation Plus, making December a great month to sign up.
Kicking things off on December 7 is the LittleBigPlanet spin-off PSN title, Sackboy Prehistoric Moves. Enjoy 10 unique Move-enabled levels on a multiplayer adventure filled romp through the land of dinosaurs. Best of all, PlayStation Plus subscribers get Sackboy Prehistoric Moves free AND a week before everyone else.
Earlier this year, European PlayStation Plus subscribers were given a full season download of Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse, regularly priced at $34.99. We heard the feedback that US subscribers would like the same content and are happy to report that all five episodes will be available to US PlayStation Plus subscribers on December 14 as well.
Along with Sam & Max, we are discounting Marvel Super Hero Squad PSP for those PlayStation Plus subcribers that have a PSP. Gamers can take Blue Tongue’s humorous outlook on the Marvel universe for a spin. Marvel Super Hero Squad PSP will be available for 50% off starting December 14. These three games barely scratch the surface of the upcoming PlayStation Plus content publish, so be sure to check the full release list down below.
As always, here’s a friendly reminder to pick up the content that will be removed from PlayStation Plus, including free downloads of Shatter, DYNOGEMS, Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus, and a discount on Landit Bandit, Hustle Kings, Crash Bandicoot 2, and MAG DLC.
Finally, if you haven’t signed up yet, check out our offer giving new subscribers of a full year of PlayStation Plus an additional three months for free.

That is awesome. a LOT of savings next week. Thanks for a terrific update grace!
Now, give us some better avatars and I’m set. you guy’s should also consider giving away soundtracks for highly acclaimed games.
@ OnesOwnGrief
That definitely doesn’t make the service look appealing.
If anything they need to find a common ground like ExPres was saying up there, in case a repeat were to happen, between plus members who have the game from before and new ones.
That’s not impressive and very insulting we’re getting a free game that was already listed when the service first came out. What’s the point of giving out free Home items and DLC when the user decides to opt-out of the service no longer has access to it? What’s the point of then making it ONLY AVAILABLE through plus in the first place? All I see is Galaxy Fight import for $3.00, everything else is either garbage as usual or I own.
@ SuperTiso
I’m pretty sure you get to keep DLC and other small things like that, just not the games. But I’m not certain. Anyone have any facts or am I just wishing?
I’ve been somewhat disappointed by PS PLUS since I had all the free stuff that was being offered but this update definitely makes up for all past updates. Good job Sony, keep up the flow of these massive type of updates.
Man I love PlayStation Plus!
at least add rental service for rent game will make much better value on ps3 plus! are you plan to make this happen in the near future?
Can the Sackboy Prehistoric Moves game be played with a Dualshock 3? If not then this would be the WORST publish yet because we wouldn’t be getting a free game this month. Well, we would but we just couldn’t play it without spending more money on a Move controller.
This update doesn’t look special at all.
wow, this is insane, I’m loving ps+, can’t wait!
@54 Gogo_ZvC
Nope, there was a huge article about it on N4G not too long ago about the European PS+ having to go into depth about the issue. Ultimately DLC is not ours to keep. They decided to allow what was free up to that point to be the users forever, but after it’s not free. For USA it’s probably always been a rental for DLC. I’m still hesitant to download avatars and themes just in the off chance they take that away.
The whole value of plus is a joke because any discounts you do receive you’re technically paid for it upfront as a cost and now with Sony changing their TOS to charge taxes for states that weren’t taxed before that value diminishes all the more.
Uhhh…Sorry about that last comment. I responded too soon. I didn’t notice that Sam & Max would all be free as well as Crash Tag Team Racing. I think Fieldrunners has already been offered through PS+ though.
Holy cow, Sam and Max $35 value. Fieldrunners, a mini people have actually heard of. And Crash Racing, a relatively new classic? This definitely is the best publish ever. Merry Christmas Sony!
@Gogo I don’t see them repeating content for new users in lieu of providing new content just because people missed out. I think they will offer bonuses of old content though. Two years is a long time, by then Plus will likely be $59.99 or higher.
This is an amazing update! More ps1 games please. It’s why i bought the psp go. Love the device. By the way, i think the image on the link provided in the post is wrong:

Why do we have Fieldrunners again?
GIVE US SOMETHING NEW PLEASE!
I know that others might not have had Plus from the origination of the program, but give us a newer one for the people that already have it.
And I have one question. Will this be the last post of the year?
There will be another PS Plus publish on 12/21. The next one after that will be on 1/4.
