PS minis: Age of Hammer Wars

PlayStation minis

Age of Hammer Wars — Age of Hammer Wars unlike any other game features battles of flying machines equipped with various slashing, piercing and blunt weaponry. Previously known as Hammerfall on PC it achieved critically acclaimed status by becoming IGF finalist in 2008. The game is set in steam punk universe with rich storyline and breathtaking scenery. A unique combat system is based on realistic physics simulation, and it ties the movements of the rider to the movements of analog stick. As you wave it, your rider swings his sledgehammer, smashing the foe into the wall! This creates an unmatched feel of the real strike, a feel of the mass of the weapon in your hands. The aesthetic conjures stark imagery of an industrious, romanticised era, and there’s a variable and long campaign that will bring hours of entertainment.

  • Nice to see aqua panic is finally coming out in the USA.

  • Sounds like a good lineup for disc (New Vegas) and download (Costume Quest). Just wish I had some cash. lol.

I will download the Costume Quest demo though. Too bad there’s no New Vegas demo. Oh well. Hopefully there will be some other good demos. :)

  • Kick ass week I must say :) Think I might delay getting the new Fallout tho :S Wanna nab Vanquish and oddly enough, the time crisis game.

  • Excited to see power gig is finally out in stores this week. As someone who worked on the game I can tell you that it is very unique and fun to play. Been waiting since February for it to make it’s debut to the public.

  • cuando acaban las ofertas de los PSone Classics?

  • Will Costume Quest be releasing with a trial version Rey Gutierrez?

  • Hey how long is the PS15 sale going on for.

I want to get Blood Omen and I just can’t until that sale is over. I know they will go sale the next week after I buy them if I don’t wait.

  • What a great week, well really I’m not overly excited this week, September was the unbeatable month for me, I mean with, NHL11, Spider man Shattered Dimension, and all the move content, that was a good month, but I am excited for the shoot tomorrow! got my gun attachment, been playing the demo non stop, this is what gaming should be, it’s just so addictively fun, brings me back to the days of putting loonies into the arcade machines and always wanting more!

  • Not much excitement for Costume Quest in this thread.

  • i want more games with no multiplayer… please…
and im still waiting for Destruction Derby 4… or is it 3?? i dont care…. get it done Reflections and whomever it was that worked on the last ones.. Polyphony Digital should do it…

and speaking of which, since GT5 isnt coming out this week, i will not be buying anything…. sorry guys…

  • Gotta say, not the best update ive ever seen. Too many anime and band games coming out. The only thing thats worth mentioning is that Fall Out New Vegas hits this week. I didnt know that for some reason.

  • This looks good for the week. I would love to know when N.O.V.A is releasing for the psp…

  • I was really really hoping to see Dead Nation on the list, oh well guess we’ll continue to wait :\

  • Picking up Vanquish tomorrow!
    Can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • When is the Co-op patch for Lara Croft coming?

  • I think I’m going to pass on Fallout for now, I’m going to wait and see if its as glitchy as Fallout 3 and if it is, then I just won’t get it at all. It seems like they’re trying to make it harder with the hardcore mode and only letting you get perks every other level, but that doesn’t make it harder, just more tedious, which isn’t a good thing (sequels should make the series more fun). Also I think part of why I’m not excited for it is because its just too soon for another Fallout, I just played one not too long ago, and I’m not like most gamers that will buy the same Call of Duty every year.

Besides that rant, I’ll be picking up The Shoot, really liked the demo and maybe Saw 2, the first one was pretty decent, especially when you consider that its a game based on a movie that seems like it wouldn’t make a good game, but I may wait on a price drop for that one.

  • @16- Rey’s comment:
    Hahaha!

Naruto Ninja Storm 2! Vanquish! FOVegas! Man christmas looks great this year! hahaha!

  • @64: You know the Hardcore option is…optional? hahahahaha XD
Honeslty I think I’ll wait for a price drop special or a price drop general since I liked FO3, im not that much in hurry to get it ;)

  • Am I the only one here SUPER EXCITED about DJ Max Portable 3 having an international release?

I mean, frak, when the first one came out I shelled out some serious coin to import a box-set edition from play-asia.com and since then only DJ Max Fever has seen an American release… till now.

  • I thought Hord was comming out on PSN tommorrow

  • Vanquish and Costume Quest are the only releases I’m interested in this week. New Vegas is a maybe. But with Obsidian behind it, I might just wait for a patch first. It’s gonna probably gonna be a bug-riddled glitchfest.

  • Costume Quest price?

  • Hey Rey perhaps you know at what time will the KZ3 Theme will be updating for the KZ3 Beta. If you don’t then is cool :)

  • New Vegas exclusive DLC on Xbox. Not like I was going to buy it on PS 3 anyways, but bad news for the suckers who are.

  • Super Fail that Fallout New Vegas has DLC that will not be available to the PS3.
here is PS3 love for ya–
“We’re excited to continue the partnership between Bethesda and Microsoft, and build on the success of the game add-ons released for Fallout 3 on Xbox LIVE,” said Pete Hines, VP of Marketing and PR of Bethesda Softworks. “Fans will once again be able to continue their experience in the Fallout universe with the add-on packs planned for after the launch of the game.”

i think something might be missing from that comment…..

  • Costume Quest looks great and I did love Double Fine’s previous work Psychonauts, so I will be getting this for sure. Also the perfect game to play alot on Halloween.:P

  • Two things,

    1) A new GT5 release date.
    and
    2) The GT5 Signature Edition pre order sku for the U.S. That SLS case is so sick, and I want the coffee table book to replace my GT4 one.

    Thanks

  • Nobody? Nobody at all cares about DJ Max? It’s among the best games on PSP, easily.

  • Screw Fallout New Vegas and their exclusive DLC to 360. Nice way to screw you fanbase.

  • Ah, so I was right. PS1 Classic Import was pretty much just a nice subtle ruse to not have to release domestic PS1 Classics on a weekly basis. Even though Europe had Vagrant Story for almost a full year now, and Front Mission 3 for a full month, and we’re still… without them ;)

  • The New Vegas DLC exclusivity disappoints me to no end. But it doesn’t disappoint me in the ‘I’ll be buying it for the 360’ way so much as it does in the ‘Screw Bethesda and Obsidian I’m not buying it AT ALL’ way.

    Moneyhats confirmed!

(I own all of the consoles and a rockin’ PC…I just hate BS like that and refuse to support it)

  • Playstation FTW

  • There should be Retail ps3 game session

  • @69 & 78

I am really excited about DJ Max 3 coming to PSN. I have been playing the UMD version since Friday and am totally loving it!!

I will be buying the digital version as well.

Thanks Sony for the best update of 2010!! :-D

  • PLAESE ANSWEAR
hey rey do you ever think tomb raider chronicals (psone) will ever be realesed on playstation store? and if so when do you think it will?

  • When is North America getting the Hyperballoid HD DLC? Europe has had it for a while now…

  • Hey. You have Costume Quest listed as a PSP release and it isn’t. I had 24 hours of being psyched about today’s update only to realize that my money is going to be stuck in my wallet for another week.

Your only chance at redemption is a bargain price for Aqua Panic!

  • is dragon ball z tenkaichi tag team comin on the psn?????????

  • Will Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team be available for download on the playstation network???????

  • I have been to a bunch of Game retailers and none of them has SBK X or even heard of it… I want this game!

  • so i waited for Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi Tag Team to come out on the PSN but it definitely didnt. do you know why and when it will come out?

  • when is dbz tag team coming to PS store?

  • Why does this Fallout millarky ALWAYS freeze and crash on the Ps3….? Its SOOO annoying to fork out top dollar to this second rate programming.
