Any hope for a new Darkstalkers game too?

I figure I’d be the first to ask it backwards. Anyway, I know it was a joke so I must commend you on how wonderfully hurtful it was. LOL… just kidding. I know it’s a little late for April’s Fools joke but at least you got the month right, right?
ANYWAY… a serious question. Not sure if you can answer it yet or not but will the third game have the “store”? You know, where you go to “buy” the extra characters, levels and whatnot with the points you earned throughout the game. I loved MvC2 on the PS2 because of this feature and then I was quite upset to see it removed when the title was released on the PSN. I thought that most of the replay value was gone because that feature was removed. If you can’t give an answer on this yet, no worries. I’m just happy that my day has been made with this news. Thanks, man!

i really hope they leave this game broken as hell. we need at least one broken as hell game to come out, with all the infinites in and everything. that was what was awesome about marvel.

Please, please let this have endings or, at least, all the characters unlocked from the beginning, if there are no endings. Nothing was more tedious in MvC2 than having to play over and over again just to unlock more characters, but not getting any endings for them. Even trophies for unlocking them wouldn’t be enough.
Even if they’re just a panel and some text, I’ll be happy. Endings, endings, endings!
Still, pretty excited.

John, I know this game is going to be overly amazing in all aspects. If there’s anything I’d like to add to the list of things that I’d like to make sure are a part of MvC3, it would be regarding the voice-over work.
Please, please, pleeeeease get the people that made MvC2 (especially the 90’s X-Men voice actors) such a joy to play hearing their voice work come from the characters we loved and grew up with. As much as I love Steven Jay Blum as Wolverine now, I know almost all of us will agree (just as Kevin Conroy is for Batman) that Cathal J. Dodd will always be the Wolvie to remember!

There is no way that this is really happening. It must be a dream! This (if done properly) will be the best fighting game ever! Look at how long MvC 2 has been around! People still play it! This is better news than when they announced that sliced bread thing! I never really post on the blog but i have to for this! Hey if you need an extra beta tester John im here for you ;p

Keys to making this game a success
1) Arcade release
2) More then 56 characters
3) LET THE ENGINE BE LIMITLESS LIKE MVC2.
It is the game engine that made this game so popular, a bunch of characters with cool graphics will not be enough to make this game as amazing as mvc2.
