You may not have noticed this, but last week we upgraded our old workhorse Blog server (which had been around since the beginning) to a coterie of processing beasts. It’s like moving from My Little Pony to a team of Agros from Shadow of the Colossus. That’ll mean less downtime on the busiest of busy days (a rarity, but still nice to avoid), comments should appear immediately (hence less double posting), and, most importantly, John D. should now be unable to break the site.
It also means we’ll be able to start working on adding some new features. But before we get to that, I wanna make sure we tied up all the loose ends on this server switch. I’ve been hearing the occasional commentary about people being unable to view the site on certain browsers at certain times. If you’re experiencing any problems, please let us know in the comments area. And yes, I realize the irony of asking here on the Blog itself :-)

jeff, could you guys replace the current PS3 browser with Firefox or something? To much bugs with the browser. After each time bugs are fixed in firmwares, more replaces the old ones.
good stories all around. i especially like the one on PS3 smoothing that went into how the Cell is intended to be utilized.
Anyway, maybe you guys could point an eye towards higher-tech.blogspot.com every so often. Yes, it’s my own sad little version of a gaming news site. But you never know when I might write something you’ll like. I HAVE been playing games (and reading, writing, thinking and dreaming about them) since the NES days when I was 5 and we were first introduced.
Why doesn’t Sony consider making The Eye of Judgement a greatest hits title. And team up with Hasbro in re-printing all 3 series of cards?

Guys, I really hope you’re going to release that new trailer for GOWIII that has been hyped for at least 3 months now. Those scans in the japanese magazine were amazing, I sure hope sony won’t disappoint the core fanbase.
Will the new God of War stuff include the trailer that everyone is talking about?

Wow!! I just found out that the footage you all were going to show for GOW3 has now been canceled for Jan 18th. Please say this is not true. I, like many people, have been waiting to see what you and the rest of the press saw back in December. Everybody is saying to footage that was shown looks awesome and you even said that we would see it this month as well as many other sites. I guess my real question if not now then when? When are we going to see the game in motion? I think that we deserve something more than just screen shots and interviews with no footage shown. If what I heard is true then I pray that you all will change your minds. Please let us see what everyone has been talking about. -A true fan

Jeff Dude I know you have tons of people writting asking you this and that. So i’ll ask in every post if I have to. LOL. Are they working on something for the PS3 browser. I like the concept of being able to get online instead of me waiting to turn on my laptop and surfing the web, but I have to admit the current PS3 browser, well how should I put this, isn’t up to par with anything out right now. It’s like woking with Windows 95 brother. Please tell me they are looking into this. Thanks bro.

Do you know how I could make contact with Namco via email so I can asked them if they are going to send the Tales of Varspa ps3 port state-side. I know others must be bugging you ’bout this to, but I’d figure the more US fans that want it, the more of a chance it will happen. Thank you.
P.S. When are the PSOne “Tales of” games going to be on the psn?
3D will be cool and all, but one useful little feature would be to have your ps3 remember all the internet connections you’ve connected to i hate having to put in my password every time i wanna show some one how amazing ps3 is xD
