We’re excited to announce that the Cold Front expansion pack for SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation will be available tomorrow for download in North America on the PlayStation Network. Cold Front is loaded with a number of new features and content.

- New snow gear and camo for both the Special Forces and Mercenaries

i call fail. only took them a year to make the game worse than before. i wont even bother with 1.6. slant 6 is almost as worthless as activision ended up being. this dlc should have been gratis for all of us suckers who got this game day one. all my guys agree at least we got a headset and a coaster lol. that headset does kick major butt though.
You KIDS should really get out more, maybe meet a girl!! Oh yeah, and until you can make a better game how bout you stop crying like 4 year olds and just SHUT THE **** UP!!!
I agree with comment 107, /6 you need to make it so when you back out of a quick match game you return to the quick match lobby with your original party instead of to the main menu. That way it really will be ‘quick’ instead of tedious and slow having to re-invite all of your friends into a new match. Otherwise I think you guys have put in a great effort on all the updates and patches and socom is pretty much complete. There is no other shooter that takes the kind of strategy this game does, i love it!

P.S. Oh yeah ties need to be settled by the game objectives again (bombs planted, hostages extracted, etc) instead kills unless its suppression or elimination of course.

#156 i can promise you I get more play than you in a week than you have your whole life, and second people can say what ever they want because it’s called feedback..the one thing worse than a complainer is someone who has to moan and cry about others moaning and crying. Let them say what they want its a free country and I’m pretty sure Sony wants feed back of all kinds to make this game better, it could care less though about what you think about people in general because they can’t fix that.

I got Uncharted2 Crushing to finish, assasin’s creed2, god of war 2 hd, trine, rogue warrior, borderlands siren and berserk and modern warfare 2 to play and finish

I am proudly not paying a dime for this DLC. Maybe in the future Sony will give the SOCOM franchise to a more competent PS3 developer who does not make empty promises that have amounted to one DLC pack over 14 months after the game’s release and a game that still has fundamental flaws that have not been worked out over numerous patches. It is depressingly hilarious that in their own promo video there is someone unable to use the turret gun because a gun laying down next to it screws up the options.
I do give Slant Six credit for making an effort during all this time, but the game should have been delayed a long time instead of having the community deal with all this nonsense. It wasn’t ready for release 14 months ago, and as of the latest patch, some think it still isn’t even up to working release standards.
Well if you look at the post on socom.com it actually says at the bottom of the page that the post was posted on the 15th. So they were saying it would be out by the 16th which already puts them a day late. Chalk up another screw up for /6, but who’s counting…i lost count a long time ago…
Socom servers right now are unplayable. Worst lag i’ve ever seen. Sony you’re just pathetic for allowing them to charge anything for a game that can’t even be played. There are constant freeze ups today and now we’re supposed to pay for items that the other Socom games had day one. Solag is just bad to play online and haters please don’t tell me that you have exprienced no lag. This game is a joke.
They said the release date was the 17th go play COD with all the other bedwetters that can’t handle a real online shooter!!!!!!
Although there is an upside, the patch fixed a lot of stuff on the game, so at least they did that right. This dlc better come out real soon.

Actually blades, the game is pretty much lag free now. I had problems with lag before but its doing pretty well now. If you use a router that may be the issue too, i had a old router but bought new one and fixed the majority of the lag, this patch just fixed the stuff on their end up so you may want to look into that.

Yall really need to get a more consistant setup going for the PS store. If store update is on Thurs. then it should be updated at 12 noon est, no exceptions. West coast would have stuff early in the morning and so forth. This mess of waisting a whole day waiting to spend my money is just horrible. The ps store updates is prolly the only complaint I got about psn.
