How about once a week you have a post where people can post the stuff that they would like to see added in updates and to just talk about improvements that can be made to PSN. This way there would be a place for people to post their “we need cross game chat” comments so the rest of us don’t need to see them in every posting you guys make.
On topic: Congrats to Naughty Dog but I am a little disappointed that Demon’s Souls didn’t get RPG of the year it really deserved it.

How exactly is the PS3 falling behind? Since the PS3 launch (worldwide), it been outselling the xbox 360 worldwide. If you look at the sales data for both the PS3 and xbox 360 for their first 3 years on the market, the PS3 is selling at a faster pace than the xbox 360. Also, the PS3 is the third fasting selling console of all time behind the Nintendo Wii and Playstation 2.

Xbox 360 has sold more than the PS3 and Wii has sold double the amount… PS3 is in third place in this console generation, admit it and move on
Worldwide PS3 is at about 27 million sold, while 360 is at 32 million and Wii is at about 60 million

MS report consoles ship to retailers while both Sony and Nintendo report console sold to consumers. out of that “32 million” for the xbox 360, how many of them are from people buying new xbox 360 because of the RROD?

You are on denial buddy… just cause it came out 1 year earlier doesn’t mean anything. Wii came out same year as PS3 and look what happened they sold 60 million. Sony sells PS3s at a loss, while others don’t. Where does it say MS report consoles shipped? and if they did what makes you think Sony doesn’t? it’s just your assumption.
If you are going to clear something up stop being biased… cause obviously you don’t know any information or you get it from unreliable sources. For the record I did not post any fake information and I was the only one clearing things up with truthful information, while u and ky181 were getting into a stupid fanboy argument.
Accept that PS3 is in 3rd place… period. Is that a bad thing? No, they are being smart with their marketing and are releasing great games, while they pulled the trigger on a PS3 Slim and a price cut.. if anything right now is the best time to buy a PS3.
This is done and over with… just move on and don’t make excuses for Sony, they know they need to do better and thats why they are doing a strong push in the US and UK with the new marketing, PS3 slim and price cut.

How exactly am I in denial? Isn’t this argument about which console (xbox 360 and pS3) is selling more units worldwide each month? If this argument was about which console sold more during its life time, then I would agree with you. But since the PS3 launch worldwide, not just the US and Japan, its been outselling the xbox 360 WORLDWIDE. You seem to just be focusing on the US and UK.

It’s about units sold during it’s lifetime not worldwide each month.. I agree that NOW the PS3 is outselling the 360 worldwide each MONTH, but Sony still needs to sell stronger on the US and UK, hence why they lost billions and why now theres the awesome new marketing ads and the price cut.

Well Sony is selling stronger in the US and UK over the past 3 months or so. You also have to remember than none of Sony (first party) system sellers have come out this generation. The Xbox 360 already release 2 system sellers in Halo 3 (I love Halo and Halo 2 a lot more than Halo 3) and Gears of War (Meh). Final Fantasy XIII will be release on the PS3 tomorrow on the PS3 in Japan and I wouldn’t be surprise if 200K+ PS3 is sold this week alone in Japan. Final Fantasy XIII will be release in March of the PS3 and Xbox 360 and I think it would have a bigger impact for the PS3 than xbox 360. God of War 3 is also a system seller for Song and that is also coming in March. I wouldn’t be surprise if 1 million PS3 is sold in March in the US and UK. Also, GT5 is coming out in March in Japan and sometime during the summer for the US and EU. That is a system seller also.
