Hi PLAYSTATION 3 community,
I am so very happy to announce that PlayStation Home has now officially entered into Open Beta. Restart your PLAYSTATION 3, and you will see the PlayStation Home icon under the PlayStation Network column of the XMB. Click on the icon, and you are in.
Getting to this point has required a tremendous amount of participation, input, care, and passion from the thousands of beta testers who helped make PlayStation Home what it is today. So to all of you that have tested, from all of us on the PlayStation Home team here at Sony: “Thank You!”
For those of you that are new to PlayStation Home, be sure to plug in a USB keyboard (or pair your Bluetooth headset) and start meeting your fellow PS3 owners. And remember, even with all the spaces, rewards, items, and activities available today, what you see now is just the beginning. Home will grow, change, and evolve very quickly – and it is all based on your feedback.
This is your community, and we are listening.
I think that HOME is great, I see an incredible with unlimited possibilities. As a PS3 player we need to give Sony the support that they need in order to have more people inside Home. Excellent job, as any new service they have problems but I think that the Home project is ambitious and we need to support Sony on this new adventure. Keep the excellent work SONY. HAPPY HOLIDAYS 2008 to everyone.
there has been a lot of complaining, but I just want to say thanks to Sony and the playstation home team. U guys have created something truly unique and fun. I was lucky enough to have got in rt b4 the servers crashed, and really enjoyed the experience. The graphics are AMAZING! Thanks! I have been waiting a long time for this, and home has surpassed my expectations! Thank You!!
just give it some time people it just came out and we’ve been waiting a year for this just wait a little while longer while they resolve this OK!

Yes thank you Sony so far it is amazing. Graphics are really nice, audio is good, and like everyone is saying you can just see right off the bat the amazing potential this service will have, i had my doubts, i dont anymore!!!!!

wow! this is like amazing . i stay up all night waiting for playstation home……and wat do i get after i finish downloading it and then put it on ? it CRASHES,C-931 or /HUBPS3_SVML/unity/start.jsp
well i hope they come up with a fix or something soon =/

Give the time, I would like to see any of the people who are complaining doing this project. Please people why are you always complaining, why you just don’t give the space to Sony to polish this project. If you don’t liked go away to any of the inferior version available.

my biggest issue is how when they announced home live 90% of the people were posting the same error and couldnt connect. If its not working just come out and say there is a problem and give us a little more info then “we are working on it” I think that would help alot of us.
