The world premiere of our first trailer for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves!
This trailer will be shown during the 2008 Video Game Awards show, airing on December 14, 2008, at 9:00 PM on Spike. Don’t forget!
On top of that, Game Informer has revealed the cover for their January 2009 issue today, which features none other than – you guessed it – Uncharted 2. The January 2009 issue will hit subscribers and newsstands in mid-December and will give you the first in-depth look at what lies in store for Nathan Drake.

Great, great news. ND has always been one of the elite developers that consistently puts out amazing games, so as everyone else said, you already sold me the game. I would love to see a collectors edition of the game with a special cover in the vein of Resistance 2.

I can’t wait!! Uncharted was so good. I’m sure Uncharted 2 will be better.
I just need 4 more trophies on Uncharted to get my Platinum Trophy :) Going to start playing again tonight after class.
I know you won’t do it but a re-release of Jak 1, 2 and 3 for the PS3 in HD would be very very cool.
Ive had the first Uncharted since the day it came out and Ill be getting this one on day one as well. I cant wait to see the trailer for Uncharted 2 either.

Oh Naughty Dog, could you with the sequel pay attention to Screen Tearing? I’ve played both the US and EU version and I’ve noticed the EU version has a lot less screen tearing that the US version. A V-Sync function might be the best option or no screen tearing at all. Not everyone experience that, it really depends on the type of TV.
Plus I’ve posted a mail, again, in the hope I’ll get an answer now about the Uncharted Soundtrack of which I’m still dying to get.

PLEASE NO!! No online multiplay, I’d rather have a big and perfect singleplayer game experience than attention is drawn too much to the multiplay, that the singleplay has to suffer from that.
I agree with some poster here. Drop the ‘2’ from the the title and just calle it:

Uncharted is my favorite of all PS3 games. The story line was excellent and the game play was incredible. I can’t wait until the new game is released so I can step back into Drake’s shoes.

I have waited for this day since I finished Uncharted Drakes Fortune. I cannot freakin wait for the sequel. I know it’ll be fantastic.

This was teh same advertisement that was on gametrailers the one at 9:25ish it aired at 9:28 here but it was the same i saw yesterday you said it would be different :( it wasnt i need to see more uncharted the first game was pure brilience.

hello naughty dog are you there? I am a big fan of yours… i enjoyed the first Crashes, loved Jak and couldn’t stop playing uncharted. if you are reading this here are some things i would like to see on the new uncharted game: please do not put beard and moustache on drake and do you remember that old teaser from uncharted where drake was next to a tree and he then almost gets shot and then we see really cool moves like that small stealth gameplay on the sewers or those really cool punches and even more animations and drake pointing a shotgun over a table and drake drivin a car (that was the first uncharted teaser and the best). Why didn’t you included on the final version? Anyway thats just what i think and if by miracle any of naughty dog members is here reading this… I AM TOTTALY GOING TO BUY UNCHARTED 2:AMONG THIEVES(anyon knows why is it going to be called among thieves)

what about that submarine that drake found in the amazon… it had mutants right… what bout those? anyway i hope there arent any mutants this time because a friend of mine screamed like a little girl when i was gettin through that part and… well i couldnt play the damn game with so many screams that i got lost on the bunker lol and a guy on a island fighting against lots lots of soldiers and the finds mutants(does it remids you of something?)(Note: That was unrealist and most people didnt like the monsters part), oh you could also have labled the statue as “Project Far Cry”. But if the next game was just like the 1st on id buy it any wasy :)
Wow, I can’t wait to get this one – Uncharted 1 was a great game, I think it was best PS3 game, and it’s good yet. Uncharted is so great, that I completed it 4 times (4 difficulties, platinum trophy) and want to play it again and again :)

Great news! Hopefully they can make an even more gripping story (that is asking a lot) and add even more replayability. I have high hopes for this game!
Also, I agree with number 29’s comments on location. Very important. Location was one of the most important characters in Uncharted to me. I would be quite happy if they didn’t go with the common trend of gloomy and ultra-realistic that seems to be in nearly every game these days. I thought Uncharted was gorgeous and it seemed like art to me.
A little more Sniping would be nice, too :-).

yeah location is very important… I mean… gosh i was on chapter Trap (i belive that was the name of it)and i saw locations from chapter 5
by the way, i don’t think that wasting the story mode to have a great multiplay is a good idea… here i am talking to myself
