I’d like to parrot a lot of the other posters in asking about when the video store is coming to Canada.
Over all I’ve been pretty happy about how the PSN has been pretty seamless for those of us in Canada. Often Canada gets gets sidelined between the US and European markets. But so I’ve been quite happy that everything I’ve read being announced in the US has also been immediately available in Canada.
Until now of course.
I understand of course that selling/renting movies in Canada is different from the US, what with the CRTC being…. well just being the CRTC.
Anyway I know it’s going to be a little longer, and I’m sure that some titles will get release later, (or not at all), but really any information would be nice.
I agree with many others in that the actual numbers of how well PSN games have sold along with movie numbers.
I am also interested in a top-10 list of top games on PSN that are being played either online or even games that aren’t onlineare being played in general (or both). This is important because game devs seem to care to know if their game is even being played at all, i.e. Infinity Ward knows that their game is top on Xbox Live and gives out double XP every now and then for it. They normally give PS3 the same double XP times but it would be nice to see Live players getting double XP thanks to PS3 players top playing a certain game.
this concludes, most of PSN users has bad taste in movies!
I like the top ten list deal. I don’t care about Singstar, but the movie thing is cool. Top played games online would be cool.
Also like to see top ten all time lists as well as per week. For video downloads, psn games, rockband dlc, and demos.
And now that we have a video sevice, wouldn’t it make more sense to move the Blu Ray and Movie Trailers over to the Video part of the store?
I heard that Life with Playstation was coming out this month. Has this been cancelled or is it coming via a firmware update this month?

the default drive in a playstation 3 is 2.5inch 7200 rpm SATA as far as I know. The playstation already creates a lot of heat I don’t think a different drive will affect that.
the top 10 list would be cool and i actually just rented 10000 BC on the store and was disappointed that there were no subtitle options. wheres the love for us with hearing loss??

Is there any news on when the video download service is coming to canada? I want to give sony my money, but i’m not allowed.
Easily, Top 10 Games played online (by region) would be interesting to know.
Then again, one would think that CoD 4 would be the top game on that list for all regions but Japan, at any rate…
