102 7

You all seemed to be in favor of this last week, so here goes: the official PlayStation.Blog reading list. Lot of Hot Shots Golf and Metal Gear Solid stories floating around, and the MGS4 stuff will only increase next week. Personally, I’ve been devouring every review out there, and playing through MGS3: Subsistence in anticipation.

So, did we miss any big stories? Share your links in the comments below like last week. Please keep in mind that comments with links have to be individually approved – and therefore will take a little while to show up.

  • There has also been rumor’s about the 2.4 update which should be laid to rest already. Also some of Sony’s Rep need to start going into their forums and reading about the concerns some of their customers have to say about the system and other stuff that I won’t go into details.

  • is it just me or is our gaming culture rather impatient? Sure, some things can be overdue but I have to say that some within our culture just act like spoiled brats!

  • Infamous is on the newest issue of Game Informer magazine http://www.gameinformer.com/NR/rdonlyres/6D6E63C8-3517-4A0B-9D4F-C94C4953076D/15987/cover.jpg

As for LA Noire that was another PS3 exclusive turned multi platform so who knows maybe it’ll show up at E3.

As for the lack of Jrpgs on the PS3, don’t expect SCEA to do anything about it considering Dark Mist has yet to be announced for the US along with a myriad of other jrpg games on the PSP and PS2 that never made it here because SCEA doesn’t want them. Or 3rd party publishers can’t bring them over here because of SCEA’s “rules/regulations” on certain genres.

  • It will really go into next week stories but I want to know why Sony has let all of the RPGs got to the other guys? The reason I bought a PS1 Final Fantasy 7, the main reason I got a PS2 Final Fantasy 10, Now we might not even get FF 13 until late next year and before that all of the good RPGs will be on the other side, come on Sony get us some RPGs we have enough FPS with Resistance and Killzone

  • Obviously you all a reading about how Square just sold Sony down the river for some money. That should make an interest read. What are you all doing there at Sony? you have sat on your hands for almost 2 years and gave the consumer nothing in return but lies and put offs.

I look at ps3 and only see in house exclusives and 1 “possible” 3rd party exclusive and that’s Mgs4… I look at Microsoft and see them with multiple exclusives, better ports of multiplatform games and now they’re getting all the rPGS!!!

What gives Sony? Where are the rpgs for the ps3? We have not 1 to date!

  • Hey, Jeff while you’re at it… Could you please tell someone at Sucker Punch to change the main characters looks in Infamous? The outfit, the red hair, this isn’t a hero, he’s a D&D dork!

  • The system that was home to 97% of all rpgs is now reduced to 0% RPGs. what happened? Almost 2 years out and the ps3 hasn’t had 1 rpg hit the system.
Sony should’ve paid for exclusives to Suikoden & Final Fantasy this time out. Atleast give us Something internally. Wild Arms, Alundra, Legend of Legia, Legend of Dragoon, Dark cloud all are Sony owned IP but where are they? Where is Sony’s answer to this?

Are they just gonna sit back and let Japan go xbox 360 green too? Rpgs sell systems and right now Sony isn’t selling anything.

  • @hobo-1

hey just curious not saying your wrong but where did you see that L.A. Noir is multi? I heard the team was looking for a 360/PS3 programmer but still haven’t seen an announcement. Thanks

  • sorry about my triple post #41, 42, 43. i thought the comment system was broken.

its a sad day to see so many jrpgs leaving the ps3 but at least we still have disgaea 3 and valkyria chronicles.
