Wow, Zola… What a joke… Notice how we got 3 demos today? But may companies don’t give the PSN demos of games they do to the 360. Know why? Because MS pays for demos out of XBL money. So we’ll get the same demos we would have, but now the people who want to pay will get more, plus a video magazine… Most magazine subscriptions are in the 25 dollar range now, so this isn’t outlandish… It’s like the Demos are a bonus. I won’t get it. No way, but I don’t mind its existence, and I’m tired of people like you whining and posting spammy comments like your first one… Spamming with dollar signs is much like using caps… It’s annoying and rude.

Could you or someone there answer a few questions about Qore?
1) with the annual subscription, what happens if i buy it, download the first episode, and decide that i wish to cancel, what happens?? do i get charged for the one episode i bought, and refunded the remainder, or do i loose all of the money?
2) what are the terms and conditions of the subscriptions?
3) will our personal information be sold or given to “select groups, companies, or individuals” so they can send us special offers via psn or email? can we opt of of such advertising if it exists?
3) if they change the free game download for subscriptions, will current subscribers have access to the new game as well??
i have called customer support, unfortunatly they knew nothing about Qore at all, and stated they didn’t have any subscription service at this time….
please help, i’m on the fence, and these answers will probably be the reason behind my decision..

Listen, timmy I set my ps3 to 1080p cause little known fact Uncharted, Cod4, Warhawk, Lair and several ps3 games “seceretly” support it and the games actually look and preform better in this rez. So, whaT I have to do is go into custom options and uncheck 720P, 1080I so it’ll boot in 1080P. Now, when a game doesn’t support that rez, I have to go back in and check 720P for them to display in the proper rez.

So it’s almost 10PM here in VA and I just checked and the update still isn’t live? Anybody else having this prob?
One of the best updates I’ve seen since the launch of the PS3. I’d like to know more about the situation involving the release of the PSone games on the store though. Europe and Asia are getting regular updates, but not in North America, why?
I will be trying Qore this week, see how it is. Then I’ll consider a subscription. I always wondered when the subscriptions tab would come into play which was found in your account management on the XMB.

im glad i got the battlefield beta with my prorder. I can’t wait for qore though.
Boycotting something for being too expensive is a very silly idea. If it’s actually too expensive, very few people will buy it anyway, thus obviating any need for a boycott.
Real boycotts are for when there are some moral objections to how a product is made, or to what is done with the proceeds from its sale. Neither makes much sense in the case of Qore in particular or PSN in general.
Is anyone gonna respond about the fact that the update still isn’t live on the PSN store? Or the PC store for that matter?
Why is this taking so long for someone to give an update. Could be anything, “Hurry up and wait.” Or “We’re aware there is a problem, and we are working to fix it.” Or “What are you talking about? It works on our end.”
Some info would be nice. A red response would be nice.

Truth is… I love Sony and support them fully. I have over 20 PSN games, 10 Ps1 games, multiple add on content for my Ps3 games and am anticipating this update for Commando 3 and Navastrike, not to mention the last update we’ll be seeing “FREE” demos before que or qore or quintoxbuttox hits.
Don’t judge this book until you read the back of it and then do a book report on it.

I personaly want to make this very clear I don’t want anyone there at Sony getting fired for this or any poor psn update. It’s not their fault that they don’t have content to put up. I understand that… It’s Sony’s for not networking with the developers close enough.
I think Eric, Grace, Jeff all of them guys are awesome people to have on board for us as consumers for their products. I in no way want anyone to lose a job or even be made out to be blamed for it. This is Sony’s obligation not just 1 or 2 peoples.

Wow. I don’t believe I remember a time whe the update publicized was so late arriving. Seems like I’m not the only one wondering if there are any ‘go-live’ issues with Qore. What’s really unsettling is that no one said anything about it so far.
