  • This **** is rigged. Who the hell is buying that trash anymore?

    • It’s the video game equivalent of Bryan Adams

    • 120 million sold copies so far (all platforms). People still buying on PS3/Xbox360! it’s not rigged, it’s simply Rockstar’s golden child. Deal with it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they release PS 5 edition.

    • You do realise that 100,000s of people are born every day, right? Therefore that many people turn 18 each day and can now buy GTAV.

    • Yeah, because most people play GTA 5 when they hit 18 Dude, I played GTA 1 when I was 11 years old.

    • Well also, 100,000s are born every day, but there isn’t 100,000 PS4s bought.

As a percentage PS4 owners make up liiike… 1.3% of the world’s population (PS+ users 0.45% and VR owners just ‭0.0625‬%)

    • abok6:

In such case 100 000 people turn 11 each day and they can play it before 18th birthday. The point is, there are always new players growing up.

But as far as I know, the other reason here is that GTA V has included redeem codes for online cash. And if you buy it in some sale, it is cheaper than the PSN one cash codes.

  • Colour me shocked.

  • it’s not even that good. i got bored of it very quickly. Occasionally I redownload it if a bunch of us wanna cause chaos in the streets but most of the time it stays deleted cos it’s a whole lot of drive space for a very monotonous game

    • People apparently love monotonous easy games though.

Look at Fifa, CoD, Fortnite, etc, etc etc and they’re basically doing the same singular simple thing over and over and over.

It’s not really shocking that games with very low requirements of the player have bigger audiences.

  • Even costing only 24p in UK, Real Farm couldn’t crack the top 5
