Full details on the new games available on the PS4 service from today

Hello, PlayStation Now fans! February is here, and that means a new batch of PlayStation 4 games joining the PlayStation Now library. Starting today, PS Now subscribers can enjoy The Evil Within, LEGO Worlds, and Cities: Skylines, which will be available to stream and download on PS Now. These titles will join the PlayStation Now library of more than 700 PS4, PS3, and PS2 games in all.

The Evil Within

Developed by Shinji Mikami and the talented team at Tango Gameworks, The Evil Within embodies the meaning of pure survival horror. Highly-crafted environments, horrifying anxiety, and an intricate story are combined to create an immersive world that will bring you to the height of tension. With limited resources at your disposal, you’ll fight for survival and experience profound fear in this perfect blend of horror and action.
(Available to download (PS4 system only) and stream)

LEGO Worlds

LEGO Worlds is an open environment of procedurally-generated Worlds made entirely of LEGO bricks which you can freely manipulate and dynamically populate with LEGO models. Create anything you can imagine one brick at a time, or use large-scale landscaping tools and pre-fabricated structures customize any world to your liking. Explore using helicopters, dragons, motorbikes or even gorillas. In LEGO Worlds, anything is possible!
(Available to download (PS4 system only) and stream through 4th August, 2020)

Cities: Skylines

In Cities: Skylines, build the city of your dreams and watch it flourish. Bring on a smog-filled industrial revolution or create a quiet beach town ideal for tourists powered by renewable energy. As the mayor of your city, you’ll be faced with balancing essential requirements and helping the economy thrive.
(Available to download (PS4 system only) and stream)
Don’t forget to check out January’s lineup of games including Horizon Zero Dawn and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which are available until 7th April, 2020. You can also catch up on PUBG, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, and Formula 1 2019, which are available until 2nd March, 2020.

    • PS Now no longer offers anything over PS+.

Just the same PS4 games, no real marquee titles nor any new PS2/PS3 games.

It’s totally lost its unique selling points.

      A shambles.

At least with PS+ you can retain the games you get when you have a sub.

PS Now has been made into a substandard PS+ with the recent changes.

  • Not happy with this month. Not. Happy.

For crying out loud you haven’t even updated your own website in months!

    https://www.playstation.com/en-us/explore/playstation-now/games/#allgames

The list that shows all games still has GoW, GTA and Infamous still listed. None of the newer games are on that list.

Not to mention you took away Metal Gear Solid HD Collection without notice or warning, which was advertised as an evergreen title.

Stop giving us garbage 7 year old games. Totally regret getting 1 year subscription. I am going to make sure I let everyone know to stay away from PS Now until Sony starts putting in an effort.

To add, we should at least have a list/category for “leaving soon” so we can plan accordingly to play those games that have a limited time.

This is essentially a PS Plus 2.0 but worse!

    • ^ this.

Xbox is going to walk all over you next gen at this rate, Mr PlayStation.

    • Agreed 100%. This service used to be fine as it was. Now there is no chance whatsoever that I will renew my sub. No value to it whatsoever now. New games go on for three months. It’s for hardcore gamers and that’s it now. How on Earth is your average joe with a life going to complete 3 AAA games per month (and if they do, that means the games that were added the following month would only have one month left of play before they disappear as well).

PS5 is due out at the end of the year, all PS4 exclusives over, say, two years old, should be on PS Now as evergreen titles, surely? Infamous Second Son was on there for 3 months. It’s a 7 year old game, surely no one actually still buys it??

    • Couldn’t agree more, I was really surprised that both Uncharted 4 and infamous second son were not added to the permanent library considering how old they are….

  • Now that you’ve murdered PS+, you’re treating PSNOW the same way… KUDOS !

  • Wow, such great games. I bet these new additions will skyrocket the number of PS Now subscriptions. /s

  • Aaaaaaaaaaaand cancelled, thank you.

  • add some ps2 games like the warriors or another games

    • The best publisher that they could have in psnow is koei tecmo as their games are amazing and they hold their value.

  • This is a terrible month and the worst part is we have no one to complain to. Tweeting to the official account gets no reply unless you post a meme and the support is terrible!

I asked the ASKPSUK about MGR leaving and they said the web page tells us everything we need to know which is a lie!!

    [DELETED] take Sony

  • well some one is here as my last post was removed…

    • Seems like using certain words/phrases causes posts to be removed and then “checked” before being added back, or just randomly for random reasons.

This blog is run at the minimal effort, spam posts take days to be removed, and posts making fun of peoples medical conditions stay around for weeks after being reported. It’s not like it’s heavily moderated.

  • Is that it? Why are we only seeing three games a month added? That’s ridiculous. How can you ever hope to compete with Gamepass? I’ve already not renewed my PS+, PS Now will go the same way at this rate. Appalling.

“Stay tuned for more updates on PS Now…”

Really? Why? You only update once a month and this month is dreadful! You’re treating it like an even worse PS+!

  • Looking forward to playing the evil within, but have to say am a bit disappointed in the communication regarding upcoming titles to the service, with most of it being not until the games have gone up.

    • They could have at least put Evil Within 2 on there. I was pretty excited to get PS Now last month. I can’t believe I signed up for a year, the service is terrible. Not the games so much, but the frequency and quantity of games going on there, the lack of communication about games leaving the service, streaming limited to 720p, it’s just poor compered to Gamepass.

    • Yeah, what’s up with that? Give us a week heads up.

The only other reason I can think they delay announcing it is in hopes people that are thinking of buying the game, buy it before the announcement and get their money as well.

    • Yeah it disappointed me a lot. Cause I don’t have PS4 I borrow one controller from my friend. Since my country(South Korea) does not offer PS now I’ve tried lots of ways to launch PS now(It took me to reissue 3 credit card). Just to play bloodborne in my whole life. At last I started bloodborne then I realize it doesn’t event contain DLC part! Lots of other games were in same condition.

And this month is only 3 games? Man I’ve just played bloodborne 4 endings and god of war 2,3 for 2 weeks. What does 3 games make a difference?

Thanks to god I just subscribed only 1 month

  • It’s says Cities Skylines till August instead of Lego Worlds which shows up with no end date in the actual ps now app

  • For “8.99” you could buy 2 of the games and not have to pay rental fees..

  • Please launch the service in Latin America!

  • And where is the top 10-12 most played game of last month ?

Get a proper team to take care of PS Now, its game library and its announcements, it baffles me that people get paid for such a poor work done (even your communication about it)

  • The service would be a lot Better if DLCs were included or if they would be available to purchase. Moreover, please keep adding more PS3 games!

  • I’m saving £50 a year not subbing to Plus anymore, looks like I can save another £50 per year getting rid of this rubbish now as well!! The new 3 temp games a month setup is a disaster Sony. Listen to your user base and change. Don’t be so arrogant.

  • I warned people months ago not to be happy about the AAA games being added the first month of this games for 3 months thing but was told multiple times I was wrong they will still add older games and indy games every month and just look at it now just like plus we dropped to 3 games a month from the 10 odd we had before

  • Sony you are not keeping your promise.

When you announced that you would be adding 3 premium titles an rotated new ones every 3 months you stated that those titles would be IN ADDITION to the monthly updates you use to do where you would add permanet titels to build the library of games available on PSNOW.

In other words the preimum rotating titels were meant to be added ON TOP of the regular monthly udpates wich included PS3 titles as well so why the change?

I d not even know why I bother asking given no one will ever answer on this blog.

    • Have you got a link of them saying that? Just tried searching for an article but came up short, probably me not phrasing the search correctly.

Btw, this isn’t me being sarcastic or argumentative. I believe you but just can’t find an article at the moment.

    • This was taken from the US PlayStation blog:

How often will new titles be introduced to the PS Now catalog?

Each month, the service will add a selection of popular games that will be available for a limited period. This is on top of the existing offering of popular evergreen titles that are added to PS Now on a regular basis.

    • Ok even though we all read that as we are going to continue adding old games.. Sony see it as you already have a large selection of old games on top of these three games and we will not be removing them (apart from the ones we say and the ones that are missing for some reason but we said nothing about)

  • Subpar service when compared to Xbox Gamepass.

  • Not the best lineup. But fine.

  • Fingers crossed for a better line up in march and some early comms
