  • Borderlands 2 VR is an EPIC win!

  • Wow, was not expecting BL2 VR! That’s great, although I was hoping for a beat saber release date announcement

  • Not a VR person but i felt like i had to had..where’s the store update post for this week hm?

  • Bought one last night after seeing the astrobot reviews. I already have a bunch of VR compatible titles to play and lots to look forward to, Ace Combat and Tetris Effect especially.

  • Borderlands 2 VR is outstanding news! But it seems it won’t support the Aim Controller, please say it isn’t true? This would’ve been a perfect match.

Happy Birthday PSVR, was a fan since day 1 and even before when it was only called Morpheus ;)

Now please consider VRemaking COLONY WARS for it and it’ll be perfect! I wouldn’t mind if you’d rather release it on PSVR2 with the horsepower of the PS5 though ;)

  • New Firewall Zero Hour DLC? How about fixing the lobbies first?

  • I never got around to Borderlands 2 after the sour taste the first game left me with. But considering there are so few VR games that come even remotely close to interesting me, I’ll pick it up, but probably on sale. What I really want is more Bethesda games in VR. Fallout 3 and New Vegas would be a dream come true!

  • Borderlands 2 without co-op, and without Aim controller support will just feel like a step backwards after Firewall. It’s literally the game I said I wanted on numerous occasions. But to not have Aim support, and to strip out the social element that made the game is extremely myopic of Gearbox, and was typical of the kinds of “experiences” we used to get on PSVR until Firewall and Astro Bot came onto the scene and raised the bar and expectations.

I think it’s too little, too late. And after DOOM VFR and what that could have been, I’ll wait until they or someone more ambitious does it properly. It’s great that big studios are testing the waters again, but I can’t go back to another “launch title” era half-arsed VR FPS.

    • Never been so happy and then absolutely gutted!!  I have had many discussions in the FWZH lobbies about how BL is the perfect fit for PSVR. I have hoped that gearbox would make this happen. I have completed every BL title in co-op with my wife and ALSO 2nd play through including the fantastic DLC.  I believe I have purchased BL2 5 times now and was fully prepared to purchase it again. I would also have purchased a second PSVR and AIM in order that myself and wife could play it a third time in VR. I firmly believe that it’s only a matter of time before VR is the norm and “flat” games are in the cupboard beside the Atari!

  • Still haven’t played on PlayStation VR but i know there are pepole that enjoy this in the same way there was and still is bunch of pepole who love playing on Vita. All i can hope is that VR is more succsesfull than Sony’s handheld consoles and that it will have great lineup of games…

  • Are we not getting the 2 year anniversary sale that the US are? Or has that been mentioned elsewhere?

    • Of course not, what do you think, that Sony actually cares about EU customers when it comes to anything other than Fifa?? Don’t be silly!

    • It’s annoying, not only does it take age’s before we get VR game’s in the EU region but sale’s like they are having for VR at the moment makes me wonder why we get shafted all the time.

There are also a few VR games on the US store I want but I don’t want to make a fake US account just to get them. It’s took this long for us to get MLB The Show VR.

    • Making a US account would save a lot of money and frustration though

  • Was hoping we’d finally get some analogue sticks for the outdated move controllers….

  • Borderlands 2 VR is great news (and being only a couple of months until release is even better!)

Aim support would be the icing on the cake… but it’s still a fantastic PSVR birthday surprise!

  • Whoever came up with the idea of Borderlands 2 deserves a night alone with my sister. Good job .. Great job.

  • No aim controller. No purchase. This is the sort of game the aim is perfect for.

    • Exactly. Farpoint and Firewall have shown it works great. I won’t be interested in Borderlands 2 if all it has is this stupid teleporting crap. Aim controller support or nothing.

  • Borderlands 2 so cool now see if Naughty dog will make VR games of uncharted and the last of us. Not likely i know but i can dream.

  • Firewall needs some actual server based lobbies, not this broken P2P trash.

And where the hell is SculptVR? The US has had it for ages, and i’m certainly not giving SCEA any money for it.

  • Do we have a beat sabre release date yet?

  • They should bring out a spray painting game

  • It’s a bit sad that in 2 years there’s still not really any “must have” titles. Just a list of shovelware, 2 hour long tech demos and ports of tired old games..

As developers keep stating they make no money (or debt) from this, or dropping support in sequels/later games (resident evil) it probably doesn’t have much longer, which makes it even less tempting…

    • WipeOut, Moss, Skyrim, Pinball FX, Ancient Amuletor. There is probably more.

    • “Must have” titles is pretty subjective I guess as I can think of loads. Unless what you actually mean is not enough AAA games which won’t happen until VR is more mainstream.

      Astro Bot Rescue Mission

      Firewall Zero hour

      The persistence

      Until Dawn: Rush of Blood

      Resident Evil 7

      To the Top

      Eagle Flight

      Dirt Rally

      Drive Club

      Apex Construct

      Wipeout Omega collection

    • Have you tried PS VR? If so, what games?

    • When I asked for “must have” titles I didn’t really want a list of random heavily promoted VR games. The only “proper” full game on there is from a developer who has completely dropped VR development.

Some of the games (like Wipeout) I wouldn’t bother with in VR, because it lacks splitscreen, and i’d rather play it socially. Or I just don’t care about the genre, like simple platformers and “sim” racers. So this is a niche for a niche.

This thing needs more than this sparse selection otherwise it’s going to stay stuck in it’s little obscure niche.

  • Celebrate ey? Where are the VR discounts that are up on the US store? Where is the weekly update anyway?

  • Wondering where our “2 year” sale is that America has got on vr games…

  • All the best #PSVR birthdays for you. On October 13 you celebrate 2 years on the same day I celebrate 30 years. You could get a good game for psvr or the sessions are all great. To celebrate together better. ALL BEST #PSVR AND PLAYSTATION

  • We should have a 2 year anniversary VR sale like the US.

I’ve been waiting for a sale on some games, come on playstation

  • Borderlands vr would be really sick to play, too bad i already have borderlands and my psvr is broken…
