i can’t even pretend to be excited given how dull i found the first game and last couple of GTAs. A new Bully would interest me though.
Red Dead Redemption was great for its time, but I’ll have serious reservations if this one still has you mashing X to run and the other outdated design choices that blighted GTAV
Same here. That part where you got to the nation below the river bored me to tears back in 2010 and I stopped playing back then.
Finally went back to it in early 2016 and again got to that part and persevered through it running to the west, running to the east and so on and so forth. No wonder I stopped playing the years before. Finally got to the 3rd act and it certainly picked up some.
But when people talk about it like the game of the universe I scratch my head and get confused. It’s okay or are they simply referring to the ending?
Why didn’t you change the controls then
one of the presets allow you to run by just holding down the right shoulder button. The default control scheme was pretty bad…
…because holding down R1 is arguably worse? Give me a swift click of left thumbstick any day (not an option the last time I played, but maybe patched in by now)
The ending didn’t even feel like an ending when I finished it back in 2009. I was like.. .”was that it? THE GAME NEVER ONCE GOT INTERESTING!!!!” I tried so hard to like that game cos I love westerns and had pre-ordered it and rushed down to the store to pick up my copy on that day (back when i used to buy discs and lived near a game shop) but what a piece of boring, buggy crud it was.
