VR time trials

One of our most often received requests to date has been the expansion of GT Sport’s thrilling VR mode. So, with the latest patch, PlayStation VR owners will have the chance to hit the track in a series of challenging time trials. • More VR content is awesome news. Loving all the regular free updates for GT-Sport.

  • Expansion to GT’s thrilling VR mode? Thrilling?

    • New tracks and cars in all the dlc released are playable in VR too I believe. It’s a free update.

    • Nonetheless, GT’s VR mode is laughable and not worth revisiting even with a couple of added tracks. The base game is solid although not what fans wanted exactly but the VR is the worst driving experience on PSVR to date.

    • Free?

Maybe, but only if you didn’t pay the retail price

  • Omg its si awesome :) especially vr time trial , those two lap races are cool but so short :) , great thx , i hope i can be faster after that :)

    And red bull cars …nice

  • Thank you so much for the Fanatec support!!!

  • I don’t care about VR time trials.

VR should be supported in ALL MODES!!!

  • That’s a nice update. Thank you, Sony and Polyphony Digital. Though I really like that we get Gr. 2 cars (Super GT), it feels like a missed opportunity that Fuji Speedway and Twin Ring Motegi aren’t in the game.

My further wishes for the game are:

Audi R8 2015, RS3 Sportback, SQ7, TT clubsport turbo concept, TT 420, TTRS

    Thanks for reading!

  • The only problem I have with this game is that it is becoming way too big. 72gb now and will keep on increasing! Even though I like it, I will soon have to delete it.

The scapes should all be a seperate download, i have no interest in this side of the game and I’m sure that I’m not alone.

    • You aren’t alone. I hope this version is just experimental and somebody with influence at PD has the foresight to realise a significant portion of gran turismos fan base has been ignored.

    • Exactly this. The game was at an acceptable 50 or 60 gigs to start, but it just keep getting bigger. Not that I don’t appreciate the free DLC, but this is indeed a bummer. Same goes for the Battlefield series. Two series I like to keep installed but always (was the same in PS3 period) end up taking practically half your HDD. God, I miss the days when everything was on disc and it was just pick up and play…

  • In VR TRIAL MODE i can’t use any car with the upgrades, i have to use them with the stock setup. Have someone else found this problem?

  • Great update. Love the new content but when are you going to fix the penalty and sportsmanship system? I don’t know what you’ve done but I went from an S rating to a B in two races through penalties that weren’t even my fault. Its impossible to drive now and pointless racing in FIA and daily races. You’ve lost a player here. Fix it please. Was better before the December update.

  • How do you ruin the penalty system ? It was slowly improving and now it’s as bad as it was at the start…..

  • Not really anything I necessarily needed like the R8 (wouldn’t mind a more powerful N600 or so), although the Red Bull, Aston Martin and the oldskool BMW are a nice addition. Some of the cars are very expensive though. I’m not likely to ever get them via arcade unless as a gift car.

  • First, support multiple cars in VR mode for PS4 Pro owners, if PS4 is not abble to do that.

Second, support older Fanatec Wheels -.-

  • Add the 98 & 99 Civic Type R, Integra Type R, 92 Civic Hatchback, GT sport should include cars from Gran Turismo 4. i also seen many people utilizing normal tracks to drag race, can an open track space not be created for people to drag race there which would have enough track length.
