Import your character from the original and find out what happens after you've saved the world
Greetings again, Hunters! Remember Fulmigati? Remember how his evil plans crumbled because of your heroic deeds at the end of The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing?
Remember where you left off?
Well, you should, because now you can continue the journey with your imported character from the first game in The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II.
See what happened next. See what happened after saving the world. It’s not pretty. The metropolis of weird science is now on the brink of destruction. A mysterious masked enemy plots revenge, and the Borgovian Resistance needs a new leader.
The sequel expands the adventures of young Van Helsing and his ghost companion Lady Katarina with the management of allied troops, gathering resources for them to make them stronger.
It also introduces the Rage mechanic, adds more to do in the Hunter’s Lair (such as the decorative modifiers of the Hall of Trophies), and opens up new areas to explore, making this episode all about a larger scale, while remaining true to the intense action and adventurous exploration of the first game.
You can play as one of the three classes and equip new weapons, accessories tailored to them, utilize their brand new skills in the raised level cap. Aside from the story campaign and multiplayer modes, there’s a completely reworked scenario mode, and there are new tower defense gameplay mechanics to play with.
We’re also introducing a new pet: the Chimera, an artificial beast from the Ink who can be summoned in battles or sent to hunt treasures.
A technical side note: the game supports the advanced technical capabilities of the PlayStation 4 Pro, giving an option for a “Better performance” mode (1920×1080 resolution targeted at 60fps), a “Balanced” mode (2880×1620 resolution targeted at 50fps), and a “Better Quality” mode (native 4K resolution locked at 30fps).
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II is now available on PlayStation Store. Enjoy the hunt!
