Just a few weeks to go now until EA’s physics-based platformer arrives…
Hi everyone! Dan Mitre here, Community Manager on Unravel over at EA. Since we announced the game, we’ve been floored by how many people have made their own Yarnys. But even with all of the cool ones we’ve seen, we’ve received a ton of questions from fans who wanted advice on making one.
To get that info, we went to the source: Coldwood Studios Creative Director Martin Sahlin! Check out the video below, where he gives a breakdown of how to make your very own Yarny.

Yarny’s the main character in Unravel, a physics-based puzzle platformer where you play as the tiny character made from a single thread of yarn that slowly unravels as you move. You have to traverse nature’s obstacles inspired by the breath-taking environments of Northern Scandinavia.
Unravel is coming out on 9th February 2016 on PlayStation 4, and we’re excited for you to finally go hands-on with Yarny, both in-game and out.
