  • Any new information on Cross Region Gifting. Now, EU might be helping in a way whit some part of the legal issues prevening gifting of regionlocked games of this, as EU wants to ban Region-locking. (Just google “The European Commission Wants To Remove Regional Locking On Digital Goods”).
Like steam have had for years. And still do for gifts purchased from US-version.

I do mean gifts would have to be purchased as gift. (not transferral of used). Like how you can get physical copies from abroad, you should be able to get digital ones too.

How soon are the following titles getting on the SEN store?
    Final Fantasy Crisis Core
Ghost in the Shell: Stand alone Complex
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep (yes I know of 2.5 hd remake, but that’s not playable on portable device is it? ;) )
    Tales of Eternia
Tales of the World Radiant Mythology
    Valkyrie Profile Lenneth
    Jeanne d’Arc
Phantasy Star Portable 1 and 2

    Digimon World
    Digimon World 2003
    Dino Crisis 1
    Dino Crisis 2
    Legend of Dragoon

Why I keep asking (for the PSP ones), I got most of these on UMD, but I do not want to have to drag the PSP whit me in addition to the Vita. And for those that do not get (portable i.e., Vita) remakes, it would be sad that people would not get to play them in the future. I addition, soon these could be fun to play on PS TV device. You know that poor device will need all the games it can get, just as the Vita.. Also added some games to the list by request.

Oh, and to anyone complaining about me reposting, if they (SCEE, Not other people) would just take time to reply, something like: We have brought your suggestions to the correct people/departments. Id shut up (about the things in the post) for at least a few months.

    • Stop spamming.

    • Sony, please give us a mute option. Sick of this boring person’s spam every week.

    • Oh no, here it comes again.

    • I seriously hope this is some sort of bot because if not….dayum you need to seriously get out

    • What a delusional troll you are.

    • Can you understand simple logic? As I explained to you before, it can’t be done.

      – How about I gift you a Japanese language game from the Japan store, so you go download it onto your Europe psn account from the Europe psn store? Oh wait, you can’t, cos the game is NOT on the Europe psn store!

      – So I buy the game in Japan and gift it to you. Sony Japan registers the sale in their accounting ledger, they pay company tax there for this revenue. Then I gift it to you in EU, wait, now Sony Europe store is letting you download it as if you bought it. Where’s the accounting record of that? Surely there’s taxation laws against that.

      – I won’t bore you with accounting details but what if I bought the game last year in Japan and now I gift it to you this year? There’s all sorts of complications. And not to mention the exchange rate difference from the purchase to the gifting.

      – So why will someone want to buy something from another region? Because it’s not available in your region? (in that case, see first point above) Because it’s cheaper in the other region? In that case, by allowing this ‘gifting’, SCEE will lose sales (another region’s SCE will gain sales, probably with lower profit gain due to lower price), SCEE will miss their revenue/profit target. Why will they want to invest millions to enable this so that they lose sales? (Eventually Europeans will be buying things from overseas, local factories and stores close down, all economies move to India, surely your government would love that.)

Simply put, you want to buy something from another region, GO CREATE ANOTHER PSN ACCOUNT IN THAT REGION AND BUY IT!!!! EVERYONE IS DOING THAT, WHY CAN’T YOU???

What you are proposing can be done… if Sony is not organised into regions but as a single global company, a single legal entity, registered under the United Government of Planet Earth.

    • You sure are a simple mind, aren’t you?

    • He just doesn’t want to understand that STEAM DOESN’T ALLOW CROSS-REGION GIFTING

    • they will only abolish Region locking within the European Union and not outside of it

    • Or, as mindblowing as it might sound to some, especially the newer readers, a actual blog moderator could simply answer, even acknowledge this guys once a week, ‘spam’ (yea right).
Out of curiosity @shadow, how long now since you asked your question, at least 18 months (weekly) ? maybe longer.. good on You mate and ignore the above UNTIL a mod replies, or at least acknowledge’s your existence as a human bieng (and Customer), simple manners if for nought else.

    • Maybe you would be more likely to get a response if you used full sentences that were spelt and punctuated properly.

    • Time to put this post to bed and move on mate.

  • Wait, what about the Project Diva F 2nd DLC that’s supposed to release today?

I’ve been checking the store since midnight for ~nothing~?

    • Indeed, there is a DLC set supposed to be released today. In fact, it was released yesterday in North America, and we always get it in the same week as NA.

Anything you can tell us, Jawad? Thanks.

    • There are some DLC planned for 8th April – that’s all I know for now.

    • Ah, really? :/

The PDF2 site ( still has 1st April down for Europe, and America/NA got the DLC yesterday (and the Europe store usually gets the DLC at the same time)…

Looks like I’m gonna have to poke SEGA about it, too…

    • The way SEGA EU is handling the DLC for this game has frankly been terrible. So many issue…

    • I find it hilarious how they find new ways to mess up the DLC release every week.

    • Jawad if you have any contacts at Sega could you please ask them about this? The number of stuff ups that have been happening with the Costume Club DLC and the DLC in general for Project Diva F 2nd is beyond a joke. Anything you can do to convey our frustration to whoever is responsible would be greatly appreciated!

    • One the Vita the live area for Project Diva F 2nd has updated saying new songs available. It does seem strange they would not have it made available by now. Hope it does appear sooner than 8th April, bit strange for it to be a week later having had previous DLC releases the day after America got them. SEGA should update their blog to reflect accurate release schedules if it was delayed.

  • Do you know when we can expect the Vita release of Axiom Verge?

    • Best you can do is follow the guy who made the game. He has to do all the work, so who knows how his schedule works. Could be soon, but i suspect we have to wait till the end of summer, just a guess though.

  • Hi, a few questions – will Axiom Verge be a ‘cross-buy’ title for PS Vita? and if so will it work on PSTV?

  • Would have preferred a few more Vita titles added to the sale, with maybe some PSP/PS1 classics, but thanks anyway.

Gonna wait on a sale for Axiom Verge

  • Those BF: Hardline prices aren’t really deals. You could get them for those prices at any other site or retail outlet.

That aside, I’ll look into Paranormal Pursuit.

  • Have you listed all the additions to the Easter Sale this time or do we have to go digging around in the PS Store to see all the offers again? I hope it’s the former.

  • REMINDER: If you had Woah Dave! through ps+, buy it again to get the proper version (without expiration date).

  • San Andreas is back! Any info on why got delisted before?

    • I guess they removed some songs. Anyone wants to verify? Here’s the list (from the PC version):

    • @Lance_87, yeah, but this is the original.

    • They removed songs from Vice City PS2 Classic IIRC. That’s why i clearly wrote “from the PC version” for San Andreas. Maybe learn to read next time.

    • what i want to know is why they didn’t get the new version up with trophy support like the other camp got and with a major discount given at the relaunch of the new version. We get the same version thats available for years now and the same launch price. Rockstar you suck some times.

    • @Lance_87 Maybe learn to read the things you are sending me? These are the songs which got removed from the 360 version.

    • @SergioDaly Because Xbox rocks! Well I have that version when it got released, and its awesome! I guess it has to do with Sony.

    • @SergioDaly The 360 version was a port of the mobile version by War Drum studios. This improved the game in some ways but made it worse in others like dropping the music and visual effects. I would guess the reason they haven’t ported it to the PS3 because it would involve too much work. Usually if a company can make a quick buck they’ll do it.

    • @counter: genius, they were also removed on PC, and the game didn’t get the HD treaatment

    • Also the Xbox360 HD version is garbage, and full of issues.

  • Dear SCEE, Woah Dave! is not a new release on Vita. It came out months ago. I know you’re really excited that it’s been ported to PS4 now because that’s the only thing you care about, but calm down okay.

  • No PS+ discount for Axiom Verge? :(

  • No Project Diva f 2nd DLC this week? I thought we got it fortnightly. Or has it all been released now?

    • We’ve still got this week’s batch and, I’m pretty sure, three more batches to go before the DLC for it is done.

    • It hasn’t all been released here yet. Japan got the final batch (I think) this week.

We should have had what America had yesterday:

      Promise (Miku & Rin)
Rosary Pale (Kaito) – with associated modules.

      Still to come :-

      [My katakana/kanji isn’t good btw]

Majinaru (Marginal ?) (OSTER Project) – Miku
Something like First love (cant read the rest) – Ryo – Miku
Electric Angel (I think) – Yasuo – Miku
The song without form – Doriko – Miku

Along with the modules for them.

    • Yup, the other songs are –

      When the First Love Ends
      Electric Angel
Though a Song has no Form(Or “Although Songs Have no Form”. There’s a few ways to translate it.)

And then LOADS of modules (Maybe not LOADS, but there’s still quite a few)

On the official English site, there’s enough space on the DLC page for three more Batch tabs, thus why I’m assuming there’s three more batches

  • Why are we being stiffed on the price of Axiom Verge here in the UK/EU?

On the US Store it costs $19.99 or $17.99 with a PS+ discount.

Here it costs £14.99 with no PS+ discount at all.

    What gives???

    • Couldn’t agree more. Was really looking forward to playing it but now I think I’ll just wait for a sale or it to arrive on PS+. Save my money for Shovel Knight in a few weeks time.

    • ^ We’ll probably get screwed on Shovel Knight as well. This is why I buy pretty much everything from PSN on sale

    • If you factor in exchange rate and VAT, the US are paying £1.87 MORE for Axiom Verge.

    • If you factor in exchange rate? And VAT? The US Store has VAT included in the price and even at the current exchange rate £14.99 works out at over $22. I don’t see how they’re paying £1.87 MORE than we are.

    • VAT isn’t included in the US price.

    • The VAT excuse is nonsense. Basically they promised to keep US prices down this gen, so they’re screwing their loyal EU customers (without whom they wouldn’t have got through last gen). In video game land, $1 = £1 somehow.

    • The lack of the discount incentive just means I’ll be waiting for the Vita release to buy. I have so much to play right now anyway.

    • @bovrillor and flyingpig

Sorry guys, but the tax excuse is completely full of holes.

1: the US PSN doesn’t charge tax, at all. Never has done.
2: in the UK VAT currently isn’t being charged on downloads due to a flaw in the tax system (a situation which will be fixed at the end of this tax year this week) so VAT is being included in our price but not actually going to the treasury but rather staying in SCEEs pocket.

  • Syberia 2 came out of nowhere, just like the first. Fantastic! Can’t wait to dig into it. A classic game!

Also just wondering, how come no Run Sackboy, Run?

And nice deal on The Wolf Among Us on Vita!

    • madmanwithabox12

Run Sackboy Run is out on the store. I dl’d it this morning. It’s alright, but the mandatory touch controls ruin the experience.

    • @Rawanz
It’s on the Store, just didn’t even list it down. Should I be in charge of this?

      It’s a smartphone game.

  • Quite many new avatars as well, but we still didn’t get the US My Little Pony avatars, aww. *sobs*

  • I thought Axiom Verge was launching with a 10% discount? Was that just in the US?

I too would like confirmation of cross-buy before I spend any money. It might be a game that I prefer to play on Vita.

    • It does indeed come with PS Plus discount (ends 8 April).

    • Cheers Jawad. The discount wasn’t showing up when I checked earlier. I’m not quite ready to tear myself away from Bloodborne yet but, when the time comes, I can’t wait to get stuck into AV. I have fond memories of Saturdays spent in front of my SNES, lost in Super Metroid.

  • According to @Dan_Adelman (Axiom Verge’s PR guy) there’s SUPPOSED to be a PS Plus discount for Europe, same as the US. Any word on when that will go live?

    • Well I can’t say I’m surprised the discount isn’t showing up on the EU store then. The EU store always messes something up. I’m amazed they’ve managed to get MLB 15 The Show up on time unlike last year.

  • Will there be new Vita deals on the 9th?

  • Run Sackboy Run is on the store but not on this list. Good to see some progress on the Rocksmith issues, shame about the 80% next-gen premium of Dark Souls 2

  • When can I pre-order the following:

    1) Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China
    2) Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia
    3) Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India

  • The price disparity of Dark Souls II between PS3 & PS4 is INSANE.

£20 extra… for what? Stuff that.

    • I believe they’re charging extra for the extra frames per second.

    • I want to know what the £13 difference between this and Amazon is? £13 of bandwidth costs?

    • Well, to be fair, the PS3 version doesn’t have the new enemy placement, the graphical and performance upgrade, or the Soul Level/multiplayer changes.

I don’t think these things are factored into the price, though.

  • Is this version of GTA: San Andreas the gimped one that had controls changed and many of the tracks removed?

    • @necrosmash The controls are normal on the xbox 360 remastered version. This should be the original version.

  • Rock Band 3 Content from January, February and March Jawad?

    Arctic Monkeys – R U Mine?
Avenged Sevenfold – Shepherd Of Fire
Foo Fighters – Something From Nothing
Tenacious D – Rize Of The Fenix
Weezer – Back To The Shack
Frank Turner – I Still Believe (FREE)

We’ve asked nicely for the last 9-10 weeks. It’s not good enough. We demand action. If you won’t make the content available, I will be demanding your immediate firing and refund of all Rock Band content i’ve purchased from SCEE (which would be in the $1000s). I want all of my content available when Rock Band is released on the PS4. That clearly won’t happen with SCEE, so i’d like a full refund so I can purchase the game and content from the US PSN Store, where content appears without delays.

It’s your job (for now) to keep the community (we customers) informed and provide the best level of service. Not simply jump on here to tell us what’s new in the PSN Store, then cowardly ignore the most frequently asked questions hoping the issue will simply go away.

If you don’t have the power to fix the problem, i’m sure you have contacts that do.

The developer (Harmonix) is the only one keeping us informed. They have reached out to SCEE on numerous occasions, also having re-submitted the content, yet it’s still unavailable to PS3 users in SCEE regions (available everywhere else and available worldwide on the XBOX). They don’t have to beg for content to appear and neither should we.

  • PS4 infamous themes?

  • So how do i go about getting a refund on Dead or Alive 5 Last round for PS4?
Clearly europe is NOT going to get the dlc transfer from ps3 as promised numerous times and being stipulated on the back of my retail box.
It was the deciding factor in me purchasing the game yet again.
Not sure which i find more insulting to be honest. The fact that the rest of the world has had it for ages now,
Or SCEE’S utter refusal to answer any questions on the matter or even attempt to offer any kind of explanation as to why they cant do what all sony’s other regions have.

  • No Metal Slug 3 again :-( hoping this isn’t another Counter Strike:GO

  • madmanwithabox12

Another awful week for Vita. Can’t we at least use these barren weeks for playing catch up on the gazillion games that should have been on it already? Metal Slug 3, Dragon Fantasy II, Mutant Mudds Deluxe, 1001 Spikes, Home… Come on SCEE, throw it a bone.

  • The 10% PS+ discount for Axiom Verge is now showing up.

  • Are there any issues with the store? I can’t log in, be it www or from console :/

    • madmanwithabox12

There are always issues with the store. Connectivity, missing content, hidden content, it’s unorganised, multiple of the same thing, wrongly priced content, overpriced content… the fun never stops on PSN!

    • madman you win my friend xDD

  • Axiom Verge is tempting but £15 is a bit steep, probably just play GBA Meteoroid on my 3ds

  • Btw I’ve been meaning to complain about this for a while

Why is Hyperdimension Neptunia Producing perfection 39.99€ in EU? It’s a 29.99$ “budget”-ish game, sold at 29.99 on the US store, yet it’s sold at FULL price on the EU store. The current easter sale discount is 50% off and brings it down to 19.99€..which is basically what americans pay and honestly what the standard EU price should be.

  • Good to see a healthy batch of the Rocksmith content at last! My credit card is poised for action when I get home.

Now, what of the Rock Band 3 DLC? Please don’t ignore the question into a third month, guys.

    • The licences are screwed up, so those of us who purchased the legacy content on PS3 are being asked to pay again. Because this company is completely incapable of getting anything right.

  • Rocksmith 2014 –
You’re trolling us, right? 70 legacy songs added yet you want me to pay for content i’ve already purchased? HOW do you mess this up without fail each week? And why do we have to wait for Wednesdays before you’ll give us any of our missing-for-five-months legacy content?

Honestly, your treatment of Rocksmith (and Rock Band) customers has been disgraceful. Word to the wise Rock Band fans – this is what you have to look forward to later this year when RB4 launches and you expect to access your existing PS3 content.

    • Please, SCEE, fix these cross-buy issues as soon as you can! I personally am very happy to see that you managed to put up a big chunk of legacy DLC this week, but for the people that already own the PS3 versions, have therefore paid for them and spent noch over 5 months waiting for the chance to download them to the PS4, this is in fact a huge slap in the face. The same happened last week and you managed to fix it during that very day. please repeat that, and make sure it doesn’t happen again next time!

    • Everyone interested in information about the so-called #RSDLCScandal, visit or check tweets with that hashtag.

    • The way in which SCEE has dealt with Rock Band 3 and Rocksmith 2014 content is deplorable.

How can the same content be released on other platforms without errors and delays?

Even PS3/PS4 players in non-SCEE regions (like the US and Canada) get their content ON TIME. Yet, we here in SCEE regions are being ignored and begging each week for the content to appear.

And yes, even though all PS3 content for Rock Band is promised to be available for use in the PS4 version (at no additional cost), i’m not holding my breath that SCEE is capable of doing that after witnessing what they’ve done with Rocksmith. We’ve asked week after week for answers. Harmonix has apparently contacted SCEE numerous times and re-submitted the content that was released this year, and it’s still not available.

I think we should all be demanding refunds from SCEE for all Rock Band Content we’ve purchased. We should also cease supporting SCEE and buy all future games and content from the US, where the games and content is available without delay and is often considerably cheaper as well.

No more excuses Jawad. I think you need to respond, as we’re only going to become more frustrated with you and SCEE.

    • Yeah, don’t worry, I will be most certainly be buying the Xbox One version of RB4, and it’s directly due to SCEE’s handling of the DLC.

    • Please fix the PS3/PS4 DLC cross-buy issues!

    • Please fix the PS3/PS4 DLC cross-buy issues!

    • In addition to this weeks legacy tracks, also these Rocksmith 2014 PS4 songs/song packs have cross-buy issues:

      Jimi Hendrix Full Song Pack
      3 Doors Down – When I’m Gone
Rupert Holmes – Escape(The Pina Colada Song)
The Libertines – Don’t Look Back Into The Sun
The Libertines – Can’t Stand Me Now
The Libertines – What Katie Did
      The Killers – Mr. Brightside
      The Killers – Spaceman
      The Killers – Runaways
      Tom Petty – Refugee
      Tom Petty – American Girl
      Tom Petty – Free Fallin
      Tom Petty – I Won’t Back Down
      Megadeth – Hangar 18
      Avenged Sevenfold Song Pack

You can find an up-to-date list here:

  • Does anybody know if the Atelier Ayesha Plus with Bonus still comes with the bonus in this easter sale? Since it doesn’t state if it does or not.

    • It does. As long as you buy the package that’s on sale (the standard game without DLC is not discounted)

  • Sony this is beyond ridiculous now, there’s this thing called an exchange rate, were prices differ between each currency. Take battlefield hardline for instance What is $60 dollars in America isn’t £55 in the UK. It’s more like £45

Amazon, Argos, game,Tesco, asda and many more retailers that sell video games the price of battlefield hardline is £45 at its regular price, and that’s for the physical copy by the way which is more expensive to produce than a digital copy, as there’s the case, the disc and the artwork to add to it, not to mention production, transport and storage costs. So you selling it at £55 and then putting it at £45 and calling it a sale is ridiculous, it’s not a sale It’s just putting it at its retail price.

    • It doesn’t matter if its cheaper to produce. They can’t undercut their retailer partners because without them who would sell their hardware?

    • They don’t need to undercut them, at the very least it should be the same price, the US store charge the same for digital as the retail stores do for physical

    • Actually US PSN is cheaper than retail day one as the US PSN doesn’t charge tax whereas the retailers have to.

Here its a case of we have to pay the “next gen” increase for the whole world because SCEA committed to a price freeze and Japan.l followed while SCEE didn’t.

  • Pretty sure GTA: San Andreas wasn’t £11.99 when it was on the store previously.

  • Hi Jawad will we also get infamous themes for PS4 in EU and some new themes for the PS Vita?

  • This must be an Aprils Fools joke that you actually released a lot of legacy Rocksmith 2014 PS4 Dlc but expect us to pay for it all again. The game was advertised as having the the DLC cross compatible between the PS3 and PS4 so as a paying customer I believe we should have access to the same level of service as those in America who have had their content for months. Thanks for basically crapping all over your customers Sony EU.

    • I noticed that too. I own many of those packs and songs on the PS3. I never bought the PS4 version as a result of all the delays. It looks like i’ll never buy the AU/EU release of Rock Band 4 on the PS4 either.

We need petitions on social media to make Jawad, Chris, Fred and others at SCEE more accountable.

They need to interact with the community and support us. They post on here, then cowardly ignore the most frequently asked questions. We’ve asked nicely, week after week for many months now. We’re beyond frustrated.

Jawad, we’re not asking you to reply to EACH and EVERY post, but for heaven’s sake, please reply to the most frequently asked questions. That’s the least you could do. Ignoring the issue won’t make it (or us) go away.

How about some answers and some action Jawad?

If you don’t have the power to make the content appear, i’m sure you have contacts that can make it happen. Work with the developers. They (Harmonix) have been trying to work things out with you, but it’s falling on deaf ears. Do something please!

    • If this type of service when ahead in the US, there would be hell to pay.

    • Only the standard edition has been “reduced” It’s battlefield 4 that the premium edition has been reduced

    • its premium that i purchased. £15 off… sorry i have not had £15 worth of value in 2 days

    • Be more cautious..It’s not an issue of being stingy but about not being taken for a fool..Which applies double in your case considering you paid god knows how much more you should for a digital game of a company that’s not renowned for their integrity.

    • i bought the game physically, but lesson learned about DLC in general :)
Spoke to ea and have a resolution anyway, more helpful than sony on this occasion which im surprised at to be honest.

  • Is there a reason I can’t sign into the web store? It’s not an incorrect password – it specifically says ‘Sign-In Failed’. Been like this for a few days, now. What’s the deal?

  • Interesting that Dark Souls II gets updated as a new release. If you already own a disc or download version of the game, do PS3 owners get a free update for the orginal game (like Heavy Rain did for the Move Edition)?

    • Yes, everything that’s in SotFS apart from the Sunken/Ivory/Old Iron King DLCs is a free update for DS2 owners

  • What a useless bunch of people they have working at SCEE, still no new Rock Band DLC.

  • Oh boy… Does Namco Bandai really have to be so lame to put 60€ price tag on previous gen remaster? That is same price as Bloodborne… But yeah i am Souls addict so i can not really resist buying this :(

  • Still no updates for PS4 version of Journey. :-(

  • I wanna buy something but there aren’t much that interest me on Ps3. San andreas is quite pricey and it’s a shame there’s no trophy implementation..Only way I could get since at any time I could just turn on my 360 and play the digital version I bought several years ago at half price than that..Even better yet, I could check out if my original xbox still works for which I also have the disc version of the game.

BTW plus games didn’t go live, did they? Don’t care, and I know the reason, though that ain’t right. It’s the first Wednesday of the month..There are some rules/obligations you ought to uphold whether it suits you or not.

  • Won’t the Battlefield 4 Premium expansion get a discount as well? Considering it’s now more expensive than the base game and premium.

  • Hi Jawed,

Can you please look into the availability of Hotline Miami 2 for New Zealand?!?! This game was classified as R16 in NZ and there is no reason why it shouldn’t be available to us now. I’d really love to take the game on my Easter break and am not sure why it can be that hard to release the title to one countries storefront.

  • The level of customer service you are showning is an utter disgrace SCEE! Rocksmith and Rock Band keeps getting overlooked and thrown aside, and no one at SCEE apperently seems to care! No responses. No official statements and no sign of the missing DLC!

I don’t know what good you think can come from handling a situation so poorly. But I can tell you this: I’m seriously considering getting an Xbox One instead of a PS4 at this point. Embarrassing!

  • noting special
dark souls 2 i own on ps3 so paying ful price on ps4= no go ( max 29.99-30€ )
bloodborne = great game ended 38 hr 10min no cheating ore using glitches .
waiting witcher 3- mmo the elderscrols

  • Theme’s check US then check EU ,for gods sake this EU is not as important as US in SONYS eyes, its getting out of hand.
