  • I’d like to see how many people actually have purchased the top 3 games on the psn store…Why would you pay double the price for a digital game?

  • Can I get an answer regarding this from yesterday’s store update?

Is the Persona 4 Ultimax DLC Additional BGM 3 priced correctly?

Because it’s one song and all the other packs that have just one song have been 79p, not £1.69, which seems to be the standard price for packs of three songs. It’s also worth noting that all four of the packs that contain only one song are permanently free in North America AND Japan whilst we have to pay for them.

    Any confirmation?

    • As far as I know these are what they should be. Sega publish it here, so the pricing and promotion can vary.

    • Thanks Jawad.

Unfortunate, but oh well. I know it’s not a big deal, but it’s still a little disheartening that everyone else got them free. Especially has me concerned with anything Persona we get in the future.

P4D, assuming we ever get it, seems like the kind of game that will have DLC. I do worry that we’ll face a similar problem with that game, only being a Vita exclusive people won’t be able to use a different account as a work-around. =/

  • Oh Freedom Wars on 4th position, that’s nice. It also would be nice if SCEE started supporting that game :/ Christmass is coming, advertise it! … though it might be too late to advertise Vita and Vita TV :/ huh…

Panopticon system needs to be fixed ASAP, it’s not working! Fighting between ‘cons was supposed to be main thing for the game. Sadly it is broken… because the most important factor in counting the score of each Panopticons is the number of the players.

2 weeks ago I checked the average number of players for Panopticons in ranking
1-10 – 5613 players for each Panopticon within range
11-20 – 1798 players for each Panopticon within range
21-30 – 747 players for each Panopticon within range
31-40 – 230 players for each Panopticon within range
41-50 – 90 players for each Panopticon within range

After you complete the game (and I mean reduce sentence to 0) there is absolutely nothing to do.. FIX IT

Still to anyone wondering. YES THE GAME IS GREAT! It took me about 120 hours to “get free”. But it can be better if SCEA and SCEE will fix problems that lies withing game.

But the real champion of Vita games (apart from Minecraft) is Sword Art Online … such a shame that they didn’t release retail of it. It just shows how Bandai Namco didn’t corectly assess western market… they really considered it as game which will sell less than Dragon Ball or One Piece…

They were mistaken… very sad that nobody fixed that mistake by re-releasing the game with retail and with proper translation. Ow well… still… maybe someone will fix it by releasing another part with bundle including HF

Hmmm Tales of Heart R is low… but I’m quite sure that it did better via retail sale. (really great game)

  • Hey Jawad, nice to have you back. Do you know why the Crash & Spyro games got removed from the PSVita’s PS Store?

  • interesting that only worms revolution extreme is up on vita despite being part of the 3 games in the PSTV pack

  • I bet that the PS Store Christmas #1 will be… overpriced like every other digital title.

  • These always make me feel a little sad, so many people willing to pay that 60% price hike so that Americans can continue to enjoy last gen prices paid for by us. As long as these people continue the prices will continue to rise in Europe and fall in the US, SBS the long awaited pricing FAQ? Well that’s not really needed any more as people seem happy with the pricing situation.

  • Vita owners should be ashamed! Tales R #16???
With this and Freedom Wars it looks like a lot of Vita bros are full of hot air!

    • Most people probably bought them physical.

    • @ThugETH
Like @madmanwithabox12 said most of people bought physical version. If I’m not mistaken it was even cheaper than digital version.

In NA only one shop was selling retail version of Tales of Hearts R, that is why majority just bought digital version.

Still… something weird is happening with Vita games lately… :/ I pre-ordered for very nice price Hatsune Miku 2nd… over a week after release (yes I was waiting quite a long time) shop contacted me and told me that they didn’t get copies any from their wholesaler thus they are removing game from their shop. And it’s not only mine that got cancelled :/ From what I see, not a single shop in Poland is selling Hatsune Miku for Vita :/

Even have problems… their official page says that they are ” Temporarily out of stock.” and they don’t know when they will get more copies :/

So yeah… weird… either Hatsune Miku sold like a blast.. or SEGA considered that it won’t sell and didn’t release enough copies :/ Actually it’s not only SEGA games that are harder to get… Freedom Wars was also hard to get (I had to order it from UK).

…Oh and my superb offer for Hatsune Miku 2nd for around 20 EUR went to hell because shop cancelled my order :/

    • It’s more likely to be a production issue than a sales issue. Publishers get paid by selling games to wholesalers and retailers, if they manufactured the cards they’d want them in shops, any shops.

It could be that a major failure was found in the cards shortly before shipping and they need to consider whether it’s worth doing another production run. Or maybe the stock was rerouted to another country at the last minute (this happens a lot)

Two options really, contact the publisher and see if they’ll explain or wait patiently and see if comes in the next few weeks.

  • It would be nice to know if the best selling PSN games sell 1,500 15,000 150,000 or 1,500,000

  • PS4

    Grand Theft Auto V (New)

    PS Vita

    Killzone Mercenary (RE)

  • erm, regarding the chart, ps4 one, isn’t it true that most people who’d of bought the cod game for ps4, would of first got it on ps3?, as it was widely advertised as bieng multi gen (is that a first, multi gen?) not a cod player these days so can’t recall wether it was either just better getting it on ps3 first, or cheaper as well, but seeing it is multi gen compatable ie get both for one price, not sure i can believe these charts validity unless we see better info re numbers and versions etc, as they are now they don’t really tell us enough, also how if at all does games dlc’s factor into charts?

  • oh, meant to add, i wonder what position Mirrors Edge will be in next chart, will it still qualify even though it was a gift off EA? little embarrassing whatever number it is though, too high and says bad about 12deals, too low and it’ll say bad about lack of promotion on this blog, same for the vita gift, Most Wanted. Plants v Zombies, (btw thank you EA) may be little different to account for though, with it bieng the newest/most recent released one of the trio, got three of em but these days i only have time for ps4, might get around to ps3/vita gift ‘some day’..

  • Forgive the Faux pas but I wonder…about the classics.
They are selling right? Not just standing still?

  • The top 4 on the Vita are pretty self-explanitory; Minecraft is just Minecraft, Killzone was on that silly cheap sale (if you missed it unlucky lol), Binding of Isaac is a great port (I’ve beaten SHEOL!) and Freedom Wars was a great release too.

Will be interesting to see the charts after the 12 days sales, the choice of sales titles have been up and down at present.

  • Hi Jawad/Fred,

sorry to bother you here, but I can’t get any feedback from uncle Sony anywhere else.
Since updating my phone to android 5.0 the Singstar app can no longer find a connection to my PS3 when I turn on Singstar. So I can’t play it anymore.
Will the app be updated soon?

  • Wake up and take note Sony. Most the vita games in the chart are proper, console quality, games. That’s what you sold most of us a vita as. I don’t need an overpriced freemium/mobile port machine… I have my phone itself for that junk.

Support vita and stop making lame excuses for not bothering to at least bring more psone/psp titles to it.

  • Hi Jawad,

Is there any plans to celebrate the 10th aniversary os the PSP?

  • I want Vagrant Story, Chrono Trigger & Cross on the NZ Store, tell SE to stop being slackers

  • Port further horror games on PS2, please, as they’re currently trending and they’ve always had popularity in Europe! I mean, where’s Fatal Frame/Project Zero? That’s occasionally been top in the USA’s charts and that’s a missed opportunity with scaled sales in the EU!
