PS3 FPS Deadfall Adventures: Heart of Atlantis lines up October launch

Hop into the shoes of James Lee Quatermain in Farm 51’s globe-trotting shooter

The Farm 51 is a team of game developers from here in Poland with many years of direct experience in first-person shooters. During that time we’ve succeeded in creating classic FPS games like NecroVisioN and Painkiller: Hell and Damnation. Today we’re happy to announce that our latest shooter, Deadfall Adventures: Heart of Atlantis, is coming to PlayStation 3 on 29th October.

Deadfall Adventures is an action-driven first-person shooter, spiced up with elements from classic adventure games. Grab the opportunity and become an adventurer, hunt for treasures, explore unknown regions of the world and rescue the damsel in distress from the clutches of enemies, both earthly and not-so-earthly.

Step in the shoes of James Lee Quatermain, young adventurer of many talents. Unfortunately, getting himself into trouble is one of them. As the story unfolds, Quatermain soon finds himself part of a treasure hunt across the globe. From the stormy deserts of Egypt to the icy depths of the Arctic and all the way to the steaming jungles of Guatemala, our hero struggles to retrieve an ancient artifact – The Heart of Atlantis.

The release of Deadfall Adventures features the unique adventure mood, an engaging plot full of puzzles and a variety of missions to satisfy even the most demanding fans of adventure games. The PlayStation 3 system version includes tons of new content and optimisations:

  • In psvita why no?

  • Such a shame that only for PS3 :( it would perfectly fit on PS4 or even Vita :) please after the poor sales on PS3 port it to PS4, if you want make money :)

  • Pfff, lets hope this wont be 4th fake release date for this game. I lost desire to get it after failed dates, and release timing is all wrong. In the middle of top AAA titles release period.
You guys missed perfect timing thru july, august, september.
Lets hope it wont get delayed again.

    @Gloom
Dude, if you want to see poor sales, check the ps4 games, lol.
90 million ps3 users can eat ps4/vita customers combined x 4 any time of the day.
If ps3 games werent worth making then devs wouldnt make them and they do, and we ps3 customers buy them.
PS4 got two games selling, Destiny and TLOU Remastered, and FREE PLUS new games, lol, because noone would buy them otherwise.

    • Dude I am 1 of them :), but on ps3 there are thousands of games and even better than that, ps4 and PSV need some new games not the PS3 :)

  • I agree with you. :)
PS4 need tons of new games, and quality games, not just indie stuff. When I get ps4 I want big gamepool.
I think the policy from sony is all wrong.
Indie stuff should be crossbuy or atleast available for all platforms. Big ps3 base would sell indie games better then ps4, for now. I would buy many psn games that are ps4/vita only.
Its all backwards, ps4 need top AAA quality games, real next-gen games, plus indie games as support.
PS3 need more indie games, lately there are very little psn games for ps3. We get maybe 1 psn game per week.
Im old school, I love adventures, platformers and puzzlers. :)
I dont have Vita, but I feel for Vita owners who cant get good games on this portable.

I hope DeadFall will be good, go Indiana Jones… ehrm, Quatermain.
Im just frustrated games get delayed all the time, not one game can get released in time as initialy announced.

  • So, this is not the one what was released on Live a while back?. the map pic at top looks very like a screenshot from that.. unfortunately that just didn’t seem to do to much over there, if this is totally different ip then apologies.. rings a bell or two but tbh don’t know much, if anything about it, will there be a trial/demo?.. even hour trial on plus that the US seem to get for most all stuff, whatever happened to that section on the store/s?.

  • Oh, Farm 51! The guys who never made a single decent game! Great addition to PS3 library. Be happy it’s not making damage to PS4, only to PS3 which can handle another POS game.
