“Football fans are rejoicing! FIFA 12 is here and if you walk around SCEE HQ you can overhear chatter about how defending takes some getting used to and how cool it is that you can take quick throw-ins. It has also been the source of some light trash talk between the Brazilian PlayStation.Blog manager and I, so we’re going to organise a match on PSN and I’ll try and record it so you can see who comes out on top.

Before that, on Monday I’m flying out to Jordan where we’re hosting an extra special competition. Winners from across Europe will join us in the desert where we’ll take part in a treasure hunt, taking in some of the scenes and landmarks that have inspired Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Look out for coverage right here over the next week or so. Did I mention that Uncharted 3 is just over a month away? It’s time to start getting excited.
